Can the Dials be printed?I think that’s where a lot of customization can be done on the assembly side. Concave raised indices that the buyer or maker can add their own lume to and paint the dial to suit their own taste.

Yes, I have developed a lower cost build that uses a quartz movement and a 3D printed dial.

Great work, I had been working on a 3d printed NH35 case as well, but you beat me to it! I already purchased the files on your site and started printing. Keep an eye out for an email, I'd love to do a video with you.

Maybe trying electro-plating on the case?

almost on the dame level as "bio ceramic" haha. Really though this is very awesome. Would be great to make one for a f91/f105 case for more colors.

Very interesting video, but then, I may just be a bore! I have been thinking about getting a 3D printer, you may have just given me reason to do it. This for me is a great place to "think outside the box". Traditional watch making used steel for its strength and polished or buffed it for visual interest. Using this technique you are challenging that long-held belief. You are introducing colour into an area which hasn't had too much attention (other than will it be bronze, silver or gold colour). I'm really not sure about the blue colour you used but presumably these 3D cases could be painted? How would that look? Whilst watching your video (no pun intended) my mind strayed to 3D printing bracelet type straps. Someone a lot more imaginative than me is going to come up with some elaborate chain-linkage I am sure. Well done for doing what you have so far. I look forward to other people running with your idea and seeing where the freedom from metal parts takes design.

Hey thank you for the feedback. Yes I've been on a journey of "will this work" to "what can I do that traditional watchmaking can't". The possibilities are endless and I've got loads of ideas floating around. I'm pushing to develop some sort of movement (watch movement that is)!

Maybe push glass from outside? At least better a bit for waterproof

I've tried an tested this and I can't get the same performance as installing from the inside. The weak point is the crown.

Fuck this is so cool!!! Have you considered making a 3d printed strap as well? TPU might work for something like that. Just to make it as fully 3D printed as possible.
