Merwin reads from his collection of poetry on the lanai of his home on Maui's north shore, home to one of the largest, most comprehensive palm collections in the world. Now protected under a conservation easement, Merwin's living legacy, palm forest and poet's home will be preserved for future generations by a nonprofit organization called The Merwin Conservancy.
