Wow, i have to say i am impressed. I've never owned that brand anything yet, but at that price point it packs a lot of punch. I see it's waterproof also. Insane. Wish this was around when i first got in the game. Perfect MD for anyone trying to get into the hobby, or that doesn't want to fork out $500-$1000+ for settings and stuff they probably don't need.
Nothing touches this at the price...especially for water hunters or the newcomers to the hobby. Deep - fast - tons of options. It allows the beginner to play catch-up to the higher end stuff very quickly.
Wow .... That is one heck of a lot of machine for $300. Believe it or not I'm not switching.... I have enough to learn with my f75. That I'm liking more every time I turn it on.
I don't blame you. You already have top-shelf stuff...and backups. This is a good one for sure. Nothing under Kruzer - Anfibio - Nox range touches it that I know of. Maybe options wise but not performance.
Hey HunterGT...I have Pre Ordered The Simplex over a month ago...still waiting for it to get to my door.. Thank you so much for the Great Video.. Will look for more reviews on the Simplex... Can not wait to hit the coil to the soil when I get Mine.
Should not be long now Dan. They are shipping them as fast as they can make them. There is a HUGE order list starting with Europe and Asia (being the closest).
Merry Christmas to each of my kids who are getting one and pinpointer. Told My mom and she confided she lost her gold and diamond wedding ring in the back yard recently and then a pair of gold earrings so bring em over. She a pretty intense gardener so it figures. Lol
Would you please do a video about the notches and what they mean? I want to be selective like you when I’m detecting. I just got the Simplex+ and have never metal detected before.
55 Degrees? That is a dream temperature for detecting! Does the new Simplex have a "Tracking" setting for ground balance? It is going to be very hard for someone to justify buying an ACE 400 at $340 when you can get the Simplex with wireless headphones for $340.
It's these stupid blood thinners that make me cold all the time! Yeah the Ace is pretty much dead unless you are just a die hard Garrett guy. Same with most of the First Texas lineup as well. Just no reason to drop $$ on anything else $400-600 range unless you really like the company and MUST support them. When looking at performance and options there is nothing else at 400-600 that touches it.
Interesting the number change in vertical or horizontal dime...lets you see how the machine is thinking...Reading the depth of metal as a higher number. Besides that some nice finds! Very informative video. I subscribed. Nice weather there! My uncle lives in Fresno! Wish I did! Instead of Southeastern PA! Like the little metal roller skate! GL and HH! Ive got one on order. Hopefully available on east coast soon!
Thank you for the sub! I really appreciate that. Yeah that sideways dime was neat. Glad it landed that way. It hit it no problem even with the ID change. Very telling how good it is for the price since the Nox needed an update to correct that flaw (not talking smack just facts). Maybe we can house swap..I'll take PA over Fresno any day! LOL
Awesome!.... Man I wish these were out when I bought my ace400.... I could have bought a simplex and not had to upgrade.... Its already upgraded!..... I like the modulated sound in the field mode..... Looking forward to the review
Probably silly question. Friend lost gold wedding ring on beach. How would you set up your Simplex? I think to set up to beach mode and notshing everything except gold ID.
Hi John , looks like a nice piece of kit and a good price to although i don't think i will be swapping the T2/SE any time soon LOL , take care my friend ATB & GL Rob .
Cannot blame anybody keeping a T2. This Simplex is very good for the price. Deeper and faster than anything in the price range, that is for sure. HH my friend!
Great video on the simplex..lots of options for the money. Only one question , how deep will it go , like , or tests and such , compared to actual digging. In our area , we need something that will go deep.
Just bought a fisher f19 at $448. Watching this video I'm starting to doubt my choice. How bad of a choice did I make, in your opinion? (I'll mostly be hunting for relics)
An F19 at $448 is a great deal in my opinion. In heavy iron it is fantastic, great gold prospector, best ID on any machine I have ever used. F19 was $799 for a reason when it came out. The Simplex will beat it in raw depth...and being waterproof it can get wet. However, the F19 is easily the better relic hunter.
We have been using cheaper detectors ,with decent finds, they have no v.d.i just 3 tones.....bought me and my wife both a simplex ,the constant eratic beeps from trash have us very discouraged, even notching out most trash were still overwhelmed.are we listening for a more solid tone in the midst of all these scratchy trash beeps?
In a nutshell - yes. Simplex is a pretty high gain detector when cranked up. If trash, EMI, or minerals are causing it to run erratic then you need to lower the sens, ensure the GB is properly set, and just pay attention to the better tones that come through. Does it sound erratic when you lift the coil and hold it still? If so, that is EMI and a frequency shift might be needed. Also...watch this video on the coil connection. ruclips.net/video/RR_Kqku5wb0/видео.html Beyond that, you might just need a bit more time on it before it clicks. Or perhaps the Simplex just not click for you. Some people just don't mesh well with some detectors. Always here to help if needed. Best of luck.
No not when the coil is still or lifted just the tons of signals with each swipe,I did more notching and played with different modes, earlier that helped,I guess I'm used to more silence between good signals,...this thing is a whole new ballgame for sure.
We went out in the driveway and tried with a lower sensitivity, helped alot,we ran over to a park near the house and it just was alot less trashy there than the few places we tried the first couple times out,I think it's gonna be good when we get used to reading numbers and hearing all the signals our old ones missed ,thanks for the help
Hi. I just subscribed to your channel...... I am waiting for a simplex +.... paid for it close to a month ago.... I wanted to know if you have a video on how to or where to dig the whole ones you pin point with the metal detector..... I see my equinox 600 has a arrow at the top front part of the coil.... I dont know if that means that there should be the true middle on the pin pointer. Thanks...
Thank you for the sub! I don't currently have a video about it...however I can tell you it is directly in front of the coil shaft connection just top of dead center. Simplex is a great one...best of luck with it.
i need a video for a brand new user. you lost me on those boxes on the top. I’m just trying too find my diamond earring in the house. how did you know that was a nickel vs a dime? my detector wont stop beeping. I’m in the house though
Not that I am aware of. The Fisher Impulse was supposed to be in hands but had a mould issue and was recalled. Glad they caught it before release but the clock is ticking on US companies and new products. They all seem asleep.
Yes - the non-headphone version has an adapter for wired headphones. The wireless headphone version does not include it in the box - it will be a separate purchase.
I'm a beginner to metal detecting, would you recommend the equinox 800 or the nokta. Or is there something else in that price range you'd recommend. I would like to do some river detecting and wooded areas/ fields. Also alot of trash in my area.
Well the Simplex is $300 range and Nox is $900. Hard to really compare. Simplex is deep and fast and does more for the $...but just my opinion. To each their own.
this is how to test a new machine. myself i would be doing it in an area that i had hammered that way the new machine would have to show me it was better by finding targets i missed with other machines. this seems to be in the running with my lrp in.
Glad to see ya rocker! Yeah I wanted to take it to places that were pretty old but beat up by other guys. even today it found over 10 nickels at the normal park I hunt. It's impressive for sure.
I keep forgetting to put Jeff's digger in the bag before I leave....still here by my computer desk. As far as the NoktaMakro digger...it stays home when it is this dry outside.
I am now a Nokta-MAKRO dealer. Contact me via email at thehuntergt@gmail.com to get pricing and info on all detectors - coils - accessories.
Are you still a dealer?...or only Bounty Hunter equipment?
@@qanon1286 Yes indeed. I am a dealer for NoktaMakro - Garrett - Fisher - Teknetics - Minelab - XP.
Do you happened to have a Simplex that can reverted back to 2.68?
Wow, i have to say i am impressed. I've never owned that brand anything yet, but at that price point it packs a lot of punch. I see it's waterproof also. Insane. Merry Christmas! A great present the Simplex. Best of luck in finding the jewelry for your mom!
This detector and the new minelab Vanquish line up make me happy. Nice to see some higher end features for less money.
Hard to beat for the price to performance, that is for sure. Good time to be a buyer.
A great video Hunter!
Thanks my friend! Hope all is well!
nice video, that's what i was waiting to see an actual dig and how the simplex would handle a high trash area thanks again.
My pleasure Joe! Appreciate the watch and comment.
Great video! I received my Simplex yesterday evening! I am so excited, coming from a BH Tracker IV.
Thanks! That is a huge upgrade for a nice price. I think you will be quite pleased.

Thanks for the awesome review John! now I am like a kid at Christmas I ain't sleeping till I get mine!

I never would have had a T2 if this was out back then. Great detector that checks many boxes.
Dont be discouraged man! I've found really old stuff buried right in the top soil.
Probably silly question. Friend lost gold wedding ring on beach. How would you set up your Simplex? I think to set up to beach mode and notshing everything except gold ID.
Gold falls from foil to zinc range. I would still would probably not notch anything and just dig all signals if I was trying for a lost ring.
That is one interesting detector! Great video.
Thank you! Seems to be the real deal so far.
Hi John , looks like a nice piece of kit and a good price to although i don't think i will be swapping the T2/SE any time soon LOL , take care my friend ATB & GL Rob .

Nice John 👍 cant beat the price.
Yeah the price is really low for what it can do and the options it has. Very good so far.
Good first test enjoy the video got one on order can’t wait
should not be long now! They are shipping worldwide as we speak.
Thanks for sharing a great review. I've been waiting to see it in action. GL, HH and take care.
My pleasure! Thank you for watching.
What mode are you in? Park?
Great video on the simplex..lots of options for the money. Only one question , how deep will it go , like , or tests and such , compared to actual digging. In our area , we need something that will go deep.
Thanks! It is just about as deep as anything out there in VLF detectors. For the price, very impressive depth.
Just bought a fisher f19 at $448. Watching this video I'm starting to doubt my choice. How bad of a choice did I make, in your opinion? (I'll mostly be hunting for relics)

Thanks for the swift reply! The f19 might be the right tool for my needs, it seems. For the price the nokta simplex looks unbeatable, tho!
I notch the same way on my Equinox. Good hunt. ATB, Sebastian
Thanks! ATB

After a lil practice im loving the simplex now, just had to learn it's language.
can`t wait to see what the machine does with our crap Canadian clad coin.
Yeah you guys have it rough. Must be the one place I never want to dig clad LOL...no offense!
@@thehuntergt I don`t blame you the steel clad sucks.
Nice vid and detector. Thinking about it. Have a NOX 800 with all the coils. May just stick with that. Pinpoint on Nokta sound like hay hay. 🐓
Makes for a great backup or loaner if you already have a top-shelf detector. In some tests it may even come out on top.
@@thehuntergt I was thinking backup
Looks like a really nice detector at that price point.
For sure!
Thank you, informative
Thanks for watching!
Do they make a longer lower rod?
Longer middle shaft...and a newer carbon fiber lower rod.
I am between this and the bounty hunter land ranger pro. Would you recommend this over the LRP? BTW, Thanks very much for the great channel!
Yes - this is quite a bit more powerful that the LRP. This is the price to performance king as of now.
Hi. I just subscribed to your channel...... I am waiting for a simplex +.... paid for it close to a month ago.... Is the Nakota Simplex sturdy in your opinion?
Yes, very good build in my opinion.
Thanks Hunter. I have a gamma 6000 but I may at some point add another detector to my repertoire.
what is the depth on the Simplex compared to Anfibio Multi. The recovery time is quite good on the Simplex. I am still learning the Anfibio.
It's pretty deep in Field mode... perhaps even as deep as the Anfibio in most soils. Park mode has faster recovery so not as deep.
i need a video for a brand new user. you lost me on those boxes on the top. I’m just trying too find my diamond earring in the house. how did you know that was a nickel vs a dime? my detector wont stop beeping. I’m in the house though

Great video Mr !
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Can you tell me how eliminate trash .
I explain the accept/reject notching in the review video - and also in my detecting 101 videos.
5:30 Tarzan llego
also, came for the simplex. Stayed for the babbling while detecting. Sub earned.
Thanks man I really appreciate that!
got mine yesterday. 😎
awesome machine. 💯
Very good! Glad to hear they are arriving.

yeah.. I'm in UK. 😎
Awesome john!!....how's the balance on the simplex?.....thx for the great field test...hh bro!!
Very slight nose heavy from the coil but overall very good. Thanks for watching!
Simplex is awesome_anything NEW coming out of the US GT?
Not that I am aware of. The Fisher Impulse was supposed to be in hands but had a mould issue and was recalled. Glad they caught it before release but the clock is ticking on US companies and new products. They all seem asleep.
@@thehuntergt - thank you - yes cant wait for some new US units - ;)
Hey John. So is it nose heavy with the 11in DD coin? It just looks like after a few hours the arm is going to get very tired.
It is very slightly nose heavy, but not anywhere as bad as the ACE or AT series. The ergonomics are good on it.
Do some curls and bench presses to strengthen your arm muscles 😉
Really nice review very cool looking machine
Thank you!
Great looking machine
Agreed!
This machine it finder 3m-4m sir?
No. Maybe if the metal target was the size of a bus, but probably not.
Dig it already!
Had to talk about it first lol...it was still new at the time.
Hey, i have got the Fisher F22 + Corse strike, u think this detektor is better than mine aktuell?
While that is a respectable detector and coil combo....I do think the Simplex is "better" as far as raw performance and options.
Nice video looks like a good machine!
It is indeed. Thanks!
Can you hook up a pair of corded headphones to this?
Yes - the non-headphone version has an adapter for wired headphones. The wireless headphone version does not include it in the box - it will be a separate purchase.
I have an notka anfibio multi I also have the 6 inch coil for it will that coil work on the simplex +
Simplex and Anfibio coils will not interchange.
Hunter GT
Can you put a universal screen protector on a Nokta makro simplex?
If it is the right size I don't see why not. There are some 3rd party covers popping up online for it as well.
Is this with the new updates and corrected coil?
Pre-update. My coil was not bad so did not need replacement. That being said - I will receive a new version coil soon.
Also unadulterated good test.
Cherry picking? Dig it all or don't dig is our rule of thumb. I like the machine from what I have seen.
That is not a rule of thumb I can ever live by in an extremely trashy park that is 100+ years old. 😎 Great little detector so far!
1980 penny is solid copper
Yes for sure...1982 went to zinc and thus became worthless.
I'm a beginner to metal detecting, would you recommend the equinox 800 or the nokta. Or is there something else in that price range you'd recommend. I would like to do some river detecting and wooded areas/ fields. Also alot of trash in my area.
