Hi - this is the first time I have watched your video. I have detected for a long time and see many folks have their finds go from nice to awful in a couple minutes . Once the air hits a copper coin the patina will flake away and what you had hoped was a good find becomes a disappointment. Being in the ground for hundreds of years will do this . Try to keep them all in damp dirt till you get home. Rinse them in cold water and have some cheesecloth or even paper towels ready , dip the coin in olive oil or grape nut oil . Then you wrap the coin up tightly, I use a hippo clamp or two. Forget about the coin for a few days or even a week. Then you can unwrap the coin. The combination of oil and pressure lifts all the crud and debris off and seals the patina from flaking off. You will be amazed at the results . The state archeologist from UConn originally told me about doing it this way years ago. Loved your video ! Happy New Year to you and Happy hunting . Steve in Ct USA
I'm an Australian who wishes he was over there . Unfortunately the Romans didn't come here . Those coins really make me envious .Oh well watching you is the next best thing .
Hi Arron , another good one mate and well done on the pendant a great little find , and more good info on the Simplex they must be flying of the shelves lol ATB Rob .
good outing for lots of cool finds, love that big penny and the 18 clip defo got lost when someone was on the razz celebrating lol must have been a lass getting her prezzy in the park lol
I've made up my mind on the Simplex, Trying to get one through a guy Named Denton's Detectors in Little River, SC but after three emails and texts he still won't give me his store's address and it is not on his website. I am going to order online this next month
Very nice pendant Aaron. Sorry to see you're not feeling well but I'm sure by now you're much better since this video has been here a while. I'm a new subscriber from the states. Enjoy your videos very much. Take care my new metal detecting friend.
Lovely 18 pendant bud, I expect the hallmark was on the piece that was connected to it... Great hunt..love the guessing of the coins...well predicted bud..👍
Lovely bagful of finds mate. I would keep the clods on the deeper side if I were you mate. I dug some shallower ones once and the crows flipped them over looking for worms. I was horrified when I went back to the field. ATB MMMD
Hi Arron. I've been looking for a half decent detector for couple of weeks. I found your channel about the Nokta makro simplex which looks a well built detector. I've not invested in one yet but definitely will do. I'm still researching about getting permission to go detecting there are a few farms around where I live. Do I just go and ask for the owner and go from there. It's all new to me and a bit overwhelmed with the law and permission. I've been interested a while now and would love to start metal detecting. I'm over 60 and I recently retired so what something to keep me active. I'm a bit in the dark about how to go about getting permission from say farm owners. Any advice would be great. I've subscribed to your channel. Nice finds Arron. Ps. I need a hobby to get out the way of the Mrs 😂 so metal detecting is my first thought 😂
Approach the landowner and simply ask, sadly all the farms round here have been taken already but you may have better luck than me use this link to get money off orders and if you order before noon you get next day delivery www.Lpmetaldetecting.com/southcoastdetecting
Where exactly is the spot or part of the coil that is the hit? Is it where the bar mount is? Is it at the name plate? I purchased a simplex and I also purchased the Sp24 coil!
Love the video, I’m using field mode more now think it goes that little bit deeper some nice finds there m8. Could you tell me make of your orange bladed digger as a part sighted happy Chappy I have difficulty finding tools that are black when I put them down, I have white reflective tape on coil to help and a orange bladed digger would be a great help. Love your work glad you had good time at summer Detectival
Reece Coker I don’t have a holder on this detector but on my Kruzer the holder is a camera mount. I think you can put the pointer in the back of the arm cup on the simplex
Yea good hunt arron funny 50 COIN thingy . And a bit of silver tidy job👍👍👍 ss is famous now you need to get a quicker digging implement JCB are doing a good deal free air in the tyres
Hi, just about to start detectoring and I intend buying Nokta Makro Simplex machine brand new. Any info or advice would be very helpful. I live about 12miles north of Portsmouth. Thank you Bic
I’m just not finding any coins with my Simplex+ when the number is in the 60s and 70s. It seems to have to be 85 or higher to get coins and anything else worth any value.
Anything over 96 turns out to be big iron 😒 But you should get plenty of coins, some modern coins may come in low due to the iron core. A 5p comes in at around 21 on the simplex
like my hunt today arron 22 son of a bitch 2ps 20p vickie half farthings and farthings pendant and some chubbies old 1 pound coins out tommorrow expensive week broke mid stem on nokta and shattered fixing bolt on garrett i really want to play out with the simplex

Love to see your finds, I went and purchased a simplex+ a few weeks back and also brought the pulsedive pin pointer loving these two machines 👌
How do you solve the inter ference between the 2 machines as I have the same ones as you !?
@@kevinturner5857 Ive never had a problem with mine I usually just turn my simplex off when using my pulse dive pin pointer
even a modern penny brings joy if hidden then found. thanks for filming these.

Nice hunt. The Queen Victorian penny is nice.
Great vlog 👍
Loving the video’s 👍
Was the lead find a Roman message?seen these on time team?
Nice hat arron 😂 need some mittens to match it. Take care mate 👍
Hi coast, how deep the object can be detected with this tool?
exploring chanel depending on the object, with the latest update it can detect an old Victorian penny at 16”-17”
nice pendant Arron. 😎
bobble or no bobble...you decide!! 😁
NO BOBBLE!
@@SouthCoastDetecting 😁
What was your settings for the field mate?
ryan hogarth field mode auto ground balance, 1 notch from top on power...
Nice hunting question wich One is better nokta makro multi cruzer or nokta makro gold
Both on different frequencies it depends what you’re looking for
What's the brand and size of the shovel you're using ? Thanks ...it's just what i've been looking for.
jack ronan it’s a Black Ada Spartan
@@SouthCoastDetecting thanks arron
So is it worth to swap the ACE 250 to the Simplex+?
Lajos Bakk yes 100%. It’s gets deeper, it’s better on the beach and is fully waterproof
Is the simplex better than the macro racer 1?
When give me 33-45-66in same place what is that mean inside the rock
There’s 4 “marks of depth” on the Simplex. Can you tell me “roughly” the depth each mark represents?
I believe it’s 2”
Thanks!!!
Mate, are you okay? A field? haha! nice video mate!
😂😂 enjoyed the intro Arron but guess it is cold🙈. Doing well with simplex.. Is it your best detector so far? thanks for sharing😎👍
No so far I enjoy the Kruzer more but is that due to more time spent with it or better finds? Time will tell.
As a Yank it would be helpful if you could sometimes shout out a date and say what monarch is on them
It was Queen Victoria on the 1901 penny
@@SouthCoastDetecting I'm good with the Vicky's and modern George's; your old stuff throws me. Thanks for your attention, HH!

Your spade and shovel fit more with the Vanquish than Simplex

Hello Need me OLD Software Update v02.68 link for download ?

I still haven't seen anyone taking gold with this device, just nail and tin seal!
I found silver.... in the summer I’ll take it to the beach to find GOLD!!!
Not a bad morning............
👍
You love your 2p,s 😂
Turkish delight.
It's very interesting what is Turkish 50 cents doing in the English countryside 😂😂 Turkish detector found Turkish coin

There is a saying you get what you pay for the simplex is a poor machine Daffy Duck everything sounds the same 🙈
Your to slow at digging and showing ur results pal
You’re correct Eric, far Too slow. I’ll practice 👍 thank you for Your comment.
I appreciate the relaxed pace personally thanks for the upload.
