Big props. Ya'll killed this piece. First band I ever heard that could nail Zeppelin. Yes, your singer is uncommonly talented, but there's not a weak link in your act. Good to see you book a big house - and that they loved it. I've been listening to this tune for 53 years... never seen a band attempt it, much less pick the lock ! I'm a guitarist too and I love your work and your instructionals Carl. Bravo. Best cover I've EVER seen....... Much success to you and the band. Keep up the great work !!!
Great playing all round but boy can that guy sing. Looks like Donald's really enjoying the gig on drums and is now there for the duration: Steely Dan will never be the same without him! Congrats all round.
Wow! Tight AND Theeeee Groove………this isn’t a tribute. It’s a group of musicians that love music and put their soul into THEIR interpretation of what that song means to them. Thank you! I’m sure if Page, Plant or Jones come across this, they will listen til the end and approve. Because they never played the same song the same way on any given night. It was how they felt in the moment and you guys captured YOUR moment. Cheers to you all! Vocals, drums, bass, guitar and…..keyboard! Nicely done boys!!!
I have to admit, I really enjoyed this vid! The lead singer really captured Plant's primal vocals. I learned this tune on the bass years ago (or should I say decades ago now?). I plan on re-learning it as soon as this damn neuropathy improves (stupid chemo meds!).
Very inventive with Out on the Tiles intro. Apart from that, I wish you would analyze Black Dog not least because of the quirky rhythm in the riff here and there.
I just discovered you guys and I'm very impressed. I love the soul feeling that really compliments the music of my all time favorite rock band. I'm not sure what state you guys are from but if it happens to be Ohio, and you ever need another drummer, reach out to me. I can play all these songs, and can even sing a few of them, and I have a Ludwig clear Vistalite Bonham reissue kit. Just saying haha. But your current drummer is really great. All of you are. Hope to see you guys live one day.
@Carl Baldassarre I don't have any videos of me playing live but here's a link to me playing and singing immigrant song. It's a home studio recording but it's good quality. ruclips.net/video/doArEO0VVO4/видео.html
Carl.......that was soo good......that is why i always have been a great admirer of Led Zep......outstanding.....and very well performed.......great stuff.......😃😃
Great interpretation and playing. As someone else said - tight - amazingly tight! This is very tough for us mere mortals to play from start to finish and keep it together as an ensemble, that bit where the guitar and bass get a half beat ahead of the drums (or whatever it its), that alone would make my head explode!! 😀
It was early in the set and honestly, people are usually pretty stunned not expecting this angle and caliber. But it always ends the same, on their feet, minds blown!
Gotta get there! Need to put 2-3 shows together to make it economical! Reach out to some venues (300-1,000 seats) and ask them to bring us in!! We’ll be there and give you VIP treatment and dinner with the band! Peace and love! Carl
Excellent version! My only complaint is the sound man is stingy with guitar volume. Led Zeppelin was a guitar driven band. The guitar is being drowned out by everything else. It should be more up front and most definitely during the solos. The intricacies of the solo were not shining through. Otherwise, great job guys!
Phenomenally talented musicians and Carl’s guitar analysis videos are awesome, but for the sake of honest feedback, this feels too fast for Black Dog, it’s being rushed and somehow missing the groove. Also the keyboard is overpowering the guitar and it changes the whole character of the song. Doesn’t sound like Zep because of that. You need to be way more featured in this, Carl. Jimmy wasn’t a background guitarist overpowered by an organ player. Keep at it though, you guys are all brilliant musicians.
As much as I enjoy Carl. And the singer. They are so talented. Yet for me nothing feels like Zeppelin except Zeppelin. I can always tell. It’s in the ❤. I’m sure there are many who’s lives and souls have been touched by Zep feel likewise. And I’ve heard hundreds if not thousands of covers. Nonetheless good job Carl
Everyone's sister or brother is on RUclips either singing the infamous parts of Black Dog or Playing the Guitar Parts they are all hitting the notes but it is not impressive at all
Carl when are you gonna go back to breaking down riffs and solos and shit? You can make a separate account to boost your band but most people who follow you want your musical advice
Right! I’m on break now from performing and I’ve already started some new breakdown episodes! Both Zep and otherwise. In terms of content portfolio construction, I’m taking the long-term view which is to add live content to prove I’m not just a talking head that only teaches because he can’t actually do it for real! My channel is still young, but hopefully I’ll hit a tipping point so when people find me they’ll have a wide range of back catalogue to experience. But I agree with you!! My bread and butter are my breakdowns and insights. I’m not going to lose sight of that!! Thank you for bringing it up!

The best Zep covers I’ve every heard Carl!!!
Thank you!!!

@@franksergiovanni1981 Yes sir!
A really great interpretation. The whole band is outstanding but Carl on guitar and the singer - amazing! Thanks for this.
Thank you!!

Oh yeeaaahhhh! Those pipes man! Mmmmm-mmm.
Marcus Scott is so gifted!
Make you sweat make you groove indeed...🔥🔥
Wooooooow!!! Living in Sweden,,,, really really REALLY wish I could see this!! ❤
Love to bring it to you!!

Yes I call it the Zeppelin Feel or zeppelin funk timing it’s not just the Black Dog Notes in 4/4 timing
Zeppelin used to Use either Out on the Tiles or Bring it on Home as an intro for Black Dog
@@damianpimpinella977 Yes correct the Out on the Tiles was on the Nobs recordings...
@@damianpimpinella977 I haven't noticed ...
It’s one of the great little polyrhythm mystery of Zep!
CRUSHED. IT.
Passes the smell test:)
Fantastic stuff, keep them coming Carl 👍🎸
Thank you. God willing, we will!
Drummer is great here, plays behind the beat like bonham, really good....
As usual, grate performance.
He'll yeah!!!
Phenomenal!!! Thank for the music!!
Thank you for listening!
That singer sounds just like Robert Plant! Awesome music from the band.
Thank you very much. Please spread the word so we can blow up this channel. Having a hard time breaking through!
@@CarlBaldassarreMusic Don’t lose heart. There’s always a plateau before the exponential jump!👍
Unfortunately I never saw Led Zeppelin live. Great job Carl and company , you guys definitely represent them well!
Thank you!!

let it breathe Carl, you had all the components to make it happen, music is fluid my man. You can't buy the funk my man.
Agreed. Tempo was a bit to fast and some of it felt forced. Not an easy song to play. I can't get the band I am in to play it correctly.
These guys cover LIVE Zeppelin. That's a whole other animal... a wild, undomesticated apex predator, and difficult AF. And they nail it
Well done. Well done by all! MARCUS SCOTT - his voice hearkens back to the days of the original Jesus Christ Superstar. Very powerful.
Oooh. Love that comment. Harkens back to Ian Gillian’s time on that musical.
Savaged by the Black Dog, ripped out my heart and tormented the soul.... Play it again Sam
Love!
Great stuff 👍👍👍
Yeah man!!!
The Page stage moves were awesome! Oh, and the keyboardist is amazing!
Jacob Dupre is the secret weapon!!! Thank you!
I've heard this is 1 of Zeps most difficult songs. Thanks Carl, you ROCK!
Thank you!
Absolutely Top ten hardest zep song to play great job
Another flawless and excellent performance Carl 🤘🎸😎

We’re trying to find booking and PR agencies. If you know anyone who can help, send them my way!!
great version !
Bloats sweat off upper lip :)
Smokin'!
Aah, a Jimmy Page (Carl Baldassarre) guitar solo is a thing of beauty.
Amen!
Jeeezzz!!…. 😎💪
Jesus Carl this is fucking awesome!❤
:)))
Where are all the Zepheads in the audience in these videos? They‘re just sitting there!
They‘re not doing the “Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah!” either.
It was early in the set and honestly, people are usually pretty stunned not expecting this angle and caliber. But it always ends the same, on their feet, minds blown!
Hey Carl you should put together a vid on how your band was formed. I’m curious. You have some top notch musicians. Did you gather them up?
I did gather them up! Lucky me!! I had the concept and found the right people!
Any future Long island and NY dates

Outstanding! Great job fellas.
Thank you!!!
Drummer reversed the beat twice. Nice. Great organ tones. Its great.
Viewers should not compare to Led Zep. Its foolish to do so. Well done
Thank you!!! Our thesis is that you can’t even compare Zep to Zep! They never imitated or repeated themselves. That’s the way we’re approaching it.
I totally agree. It would take the fun and inventiveness out of it. It’s supposed to be fun not verbatim.
Amen!

In their defense it was only the third time they played together, that's including practice.
It’s all good. Thanks for the comment!
Cool version. Nausea-inducing editing. Never understood Robert Plant, or how people could like his shrieking. But this singer was far less annoying.
This group does great, much respect.
The organ is all wrong, does not belong in this song or most zeppelin tunes.
Thanks. If we were a true cover band I’d agree whole heartedly!! It’s a valid point.
The timing is missing the Zeppelin feel
The guitar tone is off, also...

Great performance by all, but I'm not a fan of that dominant keyboard
too fast
