To be fair double wingman with gold mags works the same, been doing that on TDM Deadeye and the wingman auto reloads before you can finish your clip with the other so it's a constant deluge of wingman shots.

I had no question he was going to be near OP at drop. IMO they did a really good job of accurately describing how the abilities worked and I’m so stoked to get those surprise mastiff/PK kills
His ult is very very strong. Does a lot and lasts a long time. That enhanced reload speed allows for enhanced dps, it's a small thing but stacks up in a fast paced game like Apex, on top of infinite ammo.
I usually run with a devotion or a rampage in the sling. His ult charges so quick, having either of those fully kitted comes in super handy in tough spots.
I'm a lvl8, pretty new to the console apex since i've only played apexM, but when i got balistic for the first time in pubs (i'd b lucky if no one picks it), i realized that he fixed one of my issues early game. Since my aim is still dogsh*t on controller, i end up pretty much wasting all the bullets i've found on the ground against one person. With only 7 bullets in my volt and a knocked teammate bc of some charge rifle idk where they're positioned at, I realized two things: if i lived just for 2 min, i'd hav my infinite ammo that i needed so badly, and if someone is chasing me n i hold the door down, i'd just use my tactical right b4 they break the door down so they cant shoot me while i can shoot them. Balistic solved two of my issues early game in hotdrops that i've experienced in apexM in the past. But did i ever use any of these solutions? NOPE, i just wasted my ult to run away, didnt even reload my gun after the inf ammo nor use any tactical. I was just brain dead still thinking bout holding or pressing my interact button to reload n not accidentally open the door i'm blocking, and how to sling one of my main weapons w/o having to get into my invetory n running away. 😅
He’s gonna be great for starting fights with all of this utility me and my friends get punished for starting and it makes the game boring but with his ult and extra weapon we could be in and out of fights in seconds.
He’s really solid but you really need to master him.. Managing 3 weapons in a fight is so foreign it feels confusing at first.. When I was playing him I was constantly forgetting I had a 3rd weapon to swap to when both mags were empty.. In the right hands he’s actually terrifying
His ultimate is perfect. Tactical could use a slight change, like if you hit them with the dart their gun should overheat right there. I always shoot it before pushing in but it never benefited me, other than the 20 damage it does when you hit the with the dart. Other than that he's actually a pretty good character:))
I feel like his tactical really promotes running from a fight because of the overheat, which really sucks. Especially since this ranked season is built around running and hiding now...
So far my favorite set up is (Triple) primary (Wingman) secondary (G7) sling Triple for the range. Wingman for if they get too close. G7 for if there mid to close range. The set up seems weird but first match I ever did this, we almost won the match and I was kill leader so ye
Holding his tactical out in cover and peeking for a lock on is the key. He's basically Twisted Fate Stun/Sivir Ult/ GIVING YOUR ENTIRE TEAM Katarina Ult for Apex. I still think Crypto is better for getting easy wins though.
You get 20 dmg from a locked tactical, and 5 from the stationary kind. That's +30 if there's an overheat meaning it has a potential of 50 dmg, draining. Very useful in 1v1s

lol i have know his powers were going to be op as soon as we found out his tactical cud affect people weapons. In a sub machine gun battle that damage cud be the difference in a fight because it makes it impossible to one clip someone without killing yourself as long as ur opponent hits most of their shots or has a weapon that duz more damage per clip and being able to use ur ult to give urself a gold shotgun/wingman will be really useful in fights or even early on in matches to give a a player a gold car or r99 to make sure they can one clip people. This character is going to be OP in one on ones so an aggressive player can give their team a numbers advantage and buff with a good play. I havent like the characters abilities but the game hasnt been much fun lately with all the bs and cheaters so im sure everyone will just roll with having another OP character
The assault passive The tactical The ultimate The 3 guns Everything about Ballistic is strong..there is no weakness. He's a king for 1v1s definitely. He can instantly shut down an enemy's firing capabilities with his tactical and move in for the kill with ease
Ballistic is THE most noob friendly and OP character of the pool, only vanilla seer can claim to be worse. The ult alone requires 0 brain to use, can be deployed for any situation that requires fighting, whether outside or inside, for a push or while being pushed or third partied, needs 0 communication or coordination with teammate, can’t be avoided, can’t be destroyed, have one of the longest duration with 5 sec increment on one of the shortest cooldown for a ult. The autolock and homing tactical is just an insult to the fanbase of the other legends.
As soon as I found out about his abilities I got excited, bet he's hardly ever going to be free to pick and I bet he gets nerfed faster than any Legend anyone who has him on their team as long as they're not completely useless the opposite teams going to have a hard time.
The other day I played with a ballistic while playing as Maggie. We accidentally timed our ults together and WOW. Speed boosted movement and reloads eva with double tap. My aim was not the best but at close range, who cares
Why people never mention that whenever u have balistics alt on and do a kill his ult timer increases 5 sec thry showed it in that little teaser when he had his alt on and killed the dummy
His tactical tracked my valk ult in a control game. It locked on less than a second before I launched and was tracking me the whole time traveling up and even as I was flying away. Ended up being faster too bc it tagged me, before I got a chance to land. Is it a bug or is the tracking just insane
Do not run a pk om yoir ssling its your most important weapon r301 or re45 are y9ur best 2 options for this season the re45 melts and the 301 is an overall good gun i barely use the sling except for ult or if i get caughtour with my main weapon the sling is best uses fpr ults pushing fights
My worry is that the 3rd weapon is too gimicky which you dont want to have to worry about in a fight. There is a reason legends like octane are popular, because there kit is simple to use.
Are you serious? Knowing when and how to use jump pad effectively with your team requires quite some practice, communication and coordination. Ballistic has an autolock and homing tactical and a ult that you can pop whenever you want, for any situation, and will grant all teammates a buff without needing to coordinate or communicate one bit. He is by far the most noob friendly legend of all.

Basistic is one of my fav non-movement legends, problem is, I like all of the movement legends more lol.

I carry triple take, r99 and r99 in sling…gold r99 is chef’s kiss
r99 or the re45 is one of my go to for sling.. Havoc is there too
