Loving your videos, it's nice to hear the thoughts of someone discovering this game for the first time. It's tough for me to say if I consider this or TTYD the better game.....they're like on completely different ends of the spectrum to me, and each have pros and cons depending on what you'd look for in a game. I guess I've always ranked this higher, but TTYD offers a lot of elements that this doesn't.
I’m looking forward to playing thousand year door next. It’s cool to hear both are great for different reasons. Also happy to hear your enjoying the content, I’ll keep doing the best I can to deserve that comment.
It's not one you need nostalgia for, it's the epitome of a timeless classic. Games still being made today, like Sea of Stars, live in this game's shadow, hoping to be as good. Recently playing Sea of Stars is the closest I've ever felt to playing this game for the first time again.
I was ready to not like Geno and call him overhyped but he deserves the love and to be in smash
Geno who?
Gotta say, great game, one of few times I went after the super bosses and didn't stop at the ending/post-game

Ngl you had me at the first half
I grew up with the Paper Mario games, but I never played SMRPG, so I also don't have the nostalgia for it. Maybe I should check it out as well
I definitely recommend this game, it lives up to the hype. It made me feel like a kid again.

I’m getting this game now, thanks man!
Glad I could help with that decision. I hope you enjoy it.
