    I love how the story is 'Ike has the strength, skill, endurance, and correct weapon to just storm the castle and end it.' Not much nuance to his kit, or some unnecessarily long journey to regain strength/unite the world.
    In regards to how strong those Tellius dragons are, I found something cool. In Path of Radiance, if the Black Knight duel goes on for too long then Nasir shows up and hits him with a breath attack that causes the entire castle to collapse. Keep that in mind when in the next game, Ike is going head to head with the king of all dragon laguz who is possibly the most powerful mortal in all of Fire Emblem.

      Believe it or not, PoR makes dragons weaker than they are in most other FE games. They're typically reserved as final bosses and can only be damaged by either the protagonist lord's canon final weapon or an OP recruitable character made specifically to beat the dragon in case you didn't' get said weapon for some reason.

    I liked that you used link's blade beams as a substitute for ragnell's ranged attacks so that the viewer could have a good visual as to how it would work for Ike. Although personally I think the sounds of Ragnell hitting things and echoing across the land slowly getting closer would scare gannon away from hyrule let's be real.

      @@NathinOut while it’s not really in the same but in the same area, my brother and I always argued over which character would win in a fight. One debate was who would win between Master Chief and Marth from Mystery of the Emblem. We had multiple debates, and mostly concluded that it would depend on what world they were in. If they were in a turn-based match, Marth would win. In a Halo world, Chief would probably win. I still think Marth actually has a decent chance of winning for *multiple reasons* in either match up, but still. It’s cool to meet people who have similar interests lol 😂

    3:22 I think Ike could obtain anything he finds in the wild, but no Master Sword or anything involving the Sheikah Slate. But I think the Fallen Champions could bless Ike if he went out of his way to help them. This seems the most realistic to me & Ike could start from anywhere in Hyrule, theoretically.
    So, yes. No restrictions on the Hylian Shield means it is obtainable, but would he use it?

      The real question is can any Holy Weapon kill Ganondorf? Because in Zelda only the Master Sword can put him down
      In BotW Calamity Ganon is just his Malice but it's the Demon King himself in TOTK
      I'd imagine any Goddess blessed or made holy Weapon could maybe temporarily kill him just not be able to seal him or kill him

    1. It seems like you didn't acknowledge that Aether's function in Fire Emblem is a two-hit combo of Sol and Luna back-to-back (Sol when he throws his sword and Luna when he brings it down), making it more than just a convenient move for attacking elevated enemies.
    2. I'd also argue Ike could and would cripple the Guardians by attacking their limbs before going for the eyes.

    • @Linkaro2
      @Linkaro2 Месяц назад

      But what the hell is a sol and a luna? Why would he have the power of sun and moon.
      And to answer that, my good sir, is with the power of the sun, Ike can heal himself equal to half of the amount of damage he dealt and with the power of the moon, he literally cuts the enemy defense in half. Aether is that good.
      Ah... I just got to 14:30 and just notice what you mean...

      I think the Master Sword could defeat Dracula. Ganondorf couldn't defeat Dracula with his sacred sword, besides that sword is weaker than the Master Sword since it was unable to kill him. Ganondorf is also weak to holy attacks like Dracula's Demonic Megido which is considered a holy flame. Link might have ways of countering or even blocking that.

  • @zachtwilightwindwaker596
    @zachtwilightwindwaker596 Месяц назад +2

    If Ike has holy weapons then he can defeat him. A sword blessed by the Goddess? That will do.
    Holy weapons are required to defeat Ganon. The silver arrows are holy weapons. While Link can defeat Ganon without holy weapons in the Oracle games he was not at full power at the time.

  • @BlueMageWithSoulEdge
    @BlueMageWithSoulEdge Месяц назад

    This is cool. I like it.
    I would have gone about it differently, but it is nice to hear other interpretations. Aether is both Luna and Sol combined, and depending on the game it allows for an automatic follow up hit. What would be super fun would be an actual serious debate about the subject.
    I think you got one thing wrong. Ike is, as brave and stoic he is, impressionable. Unlike his possible romance with Elincia (if you so choose it), his leaving was more so a disdain for the political system than an uninterest in her. The douches around her and how the system at times would force her to act against her own character spoiled any romance for him in that place. It is canon that he didn't die alone, he just went to a country that didn't have that political system.
    What I am getting at here is that Ike traveled Hyrule and saw the people either suffering or in fear. He would at times get psionic messages from Zelda herself. He would see the land covered with monsters and those willing to travel for business be considered brave. He would see people in need and a ruler who sacrificed her physical and spiritual body to carve out some illusion of peace. This strong will and compassion will make him fall for Zelda. All of Ike's romance interest have two things in common: they are strong willed and, in some way, sacrifice themselves for a greater good.
    So, I say at the end after seeing Zelda make good on her promise. He is clapping those cheeks. He is going to smash that triforce. He will display his wisdom when he strokes it deep. If this is Radiant Dawn Ike (as you give the impression) then he isn't returning home.

    • @notwesley9180
      @notwesley9180 Месяц назад +3

      Yes, but the issue is that that statement takes place in the world of tloz. For example, it'd be like saying Superman can't beat Ganon, because he isn't Link, which just isn't true, yknow? Certain series have certain in universe rules, but bringing characters in from other verses kinda breaks those rules.

      @@notwesley9180feels like Superman is a bad example, since Superman is weak to magic (in that his Kryptonian powers legitimately do nothing at all to defend him from magic), and something around 90% of Legend of Zelda threats are using some form of magic. Yeah but the thing is this is Breath of the Wild we're talking, Calamity Ganon isn't Ganondorf, Ganondorf is under Hyrule Castle at this point, Calamity Ganon and Dark Beast Ganon are both just his Malice given form like the Blights, that's why you can kill him with sticks, brooms, swords, whatever you can scavenge, while in TOTK it's the Demon King himself which is why it requires the Master Sword and makes you use it, he's also been damaged but not sealed or killed before with other weapons in Ocarina of Time he knocks the Sword from your hand so you use the Hammer or Big Goron Sword to hurt him

    • @zachtwilightwindwaker596
