Thank you for your videos. I lost my dad last November. He taught me so much about fresh water bass fishing. Losing him really was a punch to the gut for me. I live in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and started watching your videos. Very simple and informative. I’ll be purchasing some of your products simply because I’m impressed by your relationship and respect for your father. Keep the videos coming!

It just takes practice folks, it took me about 3 years to totally master it. Arthritis doesn't help, but you have to learn your own techniques, but you've got to start somewhere. Go buy some cheap line and practice, that's what I did. This isn't rocket science folks, anyway tight lines and God bless 🙌.

Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

I love fishing. I started 2 years ago (just before covid) mostly at the beach at the end of my street and really enjoyed it. From there I started to fish off the rocks at either end of the beach. Loved that too. This last Christmas, I bought myself a kayak, made outriggers, puta trolling motor on it and now I'm fishing the local estuaries as well. Thanks Brandon, your videos have been very helpful and inspirational. Hope you and Erin are both well and your mom and dad. If my dad was still alive, I'd love to take him fishing. Cheers guys

I'm about to tie up all your fishing rigs this week in preparation for my vacation at Ocean City and frontiertown... Up here in Central PA was harsh during winter and your videos were just not videos to me... they were much needed psychological pick me ups as well... Your videos are like taking in a college course on a new adventure I just started the past 3 years that I'm pretty much hooked on for life... Im glad I started off watching your videos from the beginning of my interest of surf fishing... Hopefully I'll end up back to my home State of NC to enjoy my new adventure... Anyhow, thank you and, I thank your Dad as well for all I've learned so far...

Thank you. I used the T knot yesterday on 30lb floro leader to 40lb braid and landed 3 white sea bass. I wasn't prepared for sea bass because I thought we were going rock fishing, but the charter had different plans given the weather. I don't think I would have been able to landed them without this video. Thank you.

During the holiday season, I kept watching your videos, especially the old ones that I hadn't seen. You are truly the best for me. I watch other channels and you exceed them for me on a whole bunch of things. Why not in a next video fishing with bacon at sea it could be an experience at sea to do maybe if you want to try. So happy new year and good health to you and your entourage.

Another variation is to roll the 2 sides of your loop to twist the line before tieing the dropper loop. It stiffens the knot and makes it stand off at 90° to the main rig line.

ive had considerably more luck inserting the leader into the hook with the point facing towards you. cant explain it but my hookup ratio improved from the opposite method. I always tie twisted dropper rigs and maybe tangle once every 50 casts or so. i completely avoid using metal in my rigs and just use dbl uni knots. and a surgeons loop at the bottom. awesome tutorial!

Another good instructional video Brendon. I'm curious, why do you tie the double square knot (modified arbor knot?) on your sinker vs the improved clinch you did to your swivel? Are you allowing for breakaway of the sinker should it get hung up? Thanks for all the vids. I've been tying the T-knots on my surf single or double drop rigs ever since I saw the video where your Dad was doing the tying.
