The elasticated bit is for holding the guy lines for packing the tent up. Coil the guy line, pull the red cord, stuff the coiled guy line in the elastic loop, guylines all neat and ready for pitching up. It’s a common feature on heliport tents
I still have a Helsport tent from the 1990s, it was a 4 season, 3-pole, 3-seater equivalent to the dome 2 from faljraven, indestructible, of course, it has lost the exterior aluminization but is still effective despite some patching.. Thank you for the translation !
Great vid, im seriously looking at getting one of these tents they look class fairplay, where did drufus get his im struggling to find a seller online they not selling them directly thro their website 🤷♂️
Evening mate, looks like a wind magnet. Looking forward to seeing it on the hills. Have you seen the starlight one. My mates got one an ta say its bombproof is an underestimate. I tell ya 👍. Thanks for sharing buddy an ya time. Tc Andy 👍😁
Fabulous I own the lofoten pro 2 and the fin mark tipi so far very happy hoping to add this one as freestanding tent if needs must thanks for the review ian
Trust you Adam to be first up after i type the search 😂😂😂😂👌That looks a goer , I’m in the market for a 4 season and this showed up ! Bar the weight it’s outstanding. Might just have to hump it 😂😂👌Atb Tony
Have you by any chance tried the lightweight version of this tent? I've found one for about 35% off, but I'm a little hesitant if it'll be able to take a beating
I can aspire to getting a good quality tent. I will look on eBay at the end of the summer when all the new campers sell their brand new tents because wild camping isn’t for them👍🤣🤣
@@MrWildWales it would be perfect for 2 people carrying it but I don't like sharing my space 🤣🤣 my girlfriend is not interested in wild camping at all.

Cheers for the info!
Great review - have you been out in high winds yet? Do you reckon this stands up to the Hilleberg Allak 2?
Thanks yes it's been in very windy conditions - barely moved. I haven't seen the allak sorry
@@MrWildWales thanks mate
I was wondering the same thing; comparing it in windy conditions to the Allak 2.

Haha there's no getting away from me 😆 Very solid tent and quality components
Have you by any chance tried the lightweight version of this tent? I've found one for about 35% off, but I'm a little hesitant if it'll be able to take a beating
No I haven't but I am guessing that one will be well made as it's by Helsport

Ha there should be quite a few about soon, it seems loads of people have gotten into it lately!
Looks an amazing tent not sure I would want to carry it on a solo walk though
It's not massively heavy but it''s also ideal for 2 people. cheers

looks a cracking tent that. i like the pros and cons .👍
It's the business! Thanks 👍
Looks a nice tent mate , looks solid, I've never paid more than £100 for a tent yet though, too stingy , good review mate 🏕️👍
Ha yeah I know what you mean £150 has been my maximum👍 cheers
@@MrWildWales same here. Lovely tent but I think I'd rather buy 4 different ones for the same price 🤣👍
Adam, that tent appears the similar design as my TCOP.
👍 What's that short for?
