I have sigma 56mm and 16mm. 56mm is beast for portrait, 16mm is not exactly for portrait, because it has bad distortion if you take close up shots. It is best for landscape, also good for videos.

Hi, I'm getting into photography and looking for a camera that I'll be taking with me on my travel. Mostly cityscape and portraits. Should I get the Sony zv-e10 with kit lens ? Or would you recommend this prime lens instead of kit lens ? Will it be enough for portrait and street photography?
get the prime lens. i repeat.. the prime lens. the kit lens will disappoint you. the sharpness on that thing is bad.
Bought the zve10 few months back. Kit lens is mediocre. But the camera comes alive with these sigma lenses. I have the 56mm for portrait photos. The photos i am getting are gorgeous. 16mm is gonna be my next purchase. Though I have heard the sigma 18-50 2.8 is also a good do-it-all lens.
