    Riot dragon is an interesting tech choice, but I got chills at the herald reveal. I gotta try this with my deck.

      @Nickscruiser  Год назад +1

      Appreciate the support! Unfortunately DPE is no longer in this list. Hated hard drawing its material and to be honest DPE now almost seems power crept to an extent. Shit even HERO builds choose not to run it now in some cases. But I'm sure you'll love this list even more than the original despite DPE's absence.

      Never thought we would live in a world where DPE and power creep be in the same sentence. Oh well I can still run it in my Gate Guardian deck lol. Would love to see a combo video for the new build myself and ways to go into new Trish (+end boards with Herald, what you can do with Cupid Pitch and Sorrow Cat).
      Okay I watched the rest of the video, loved almost everything abou
      t it except I was curious about Polari and Polar Star at 1. I am genuinely curious the logic behind this because lists (including mine) run 2-3 on Polari and 2 Polar Star since you'll easily be using them up pretty fast.
      Riot Dragon is a solid tech choice, finally its going to see play lol I have to order though but for now I can use Eldlich the Golden Lord to kind of do the same thing. Fenrir is out of budget for me, do I just use the Gadarla from your last list or hand traps? Pankratops?

      @u.a.perfectace7786 If this video gets 25 likes I'll shoot and upload a combos + Test Hands video for the new build. And yea it is crazy to think something as strong as DPE is power crept but it makes sense when you think about it. Most decks cannot afford to run the garnets/fusion material in the main, also DPE itself seems to lose alot of steam this format when you have decks like Kashtira roaming around DPE feels pointless when you're going against ariseheart. Also the bystials are a thing now. Something that wasn't an issue when DPE was ran in the original build. Any bystial just kills it so hard. So now DPE feels like more of a risk than a benefit. Some decks can still make use of it however, I just feel ursarctic has moved on. Now regarding the ratios for polari and polar star. The answer is simple. Makes no sense to run duplicates of the level 1 synchros when I'm only playing 1 ofs for Septentrion and Grand Chariot. A single polar star can summon both in the same turn making any other copies of polar star or polari pointless. Also if I need them back that badly radiations end phase effect can cycle them back for me. And lastly yea fenrir can be expensive still. If you don't have fenrirs you don't need to run them. Alternatively you can run gadarla from the previous list or just cut the fenrirs entirely. Play an extra copy of miktanus and the decks an even 40 at that point. You can always side deck the kaijus.

      Only if you have other bears in hand. Which isn't always the case since this deck negs itself so hard. By itself and another tribute it does nothing unlike the other minor bears where at least themselves plus a tribute still gets value.

    • @Nickscruiser
      @Nickscruiser  Год назад

      It's a cool card just a little slow imo. If you wanted to synchro on the opponents turn I feel you're better off using something like hop ear squadron.

    this is a really cool deck list with some tech cards, though I wanted to ask what you think about the version of the deck that plays "ursarctic drytron" with the fusion monster. Basically you play the spell on 2 or 3 and play 1 copy of "drytron Fafnir" in main. you can search "ursarctic drytron" of alpha and then go into polari to activate the spell by sending Fafnir from Deck, wich gets you the fusion Monster. its a extra Search and add back from banish + "ursarctic drytron" can also banish from grave as tribute for a ursarctic effect IN the same turn wich is cool.
    anyway im just a casual who mostly plays online (not master duel) but I would love to hear your opinion on this, since it seemed like you know this archetype well

    • @Nickscruiser
      @Nickscruiser  Год назад +1

      While I have tested several versions of the deck even during my original endeavor with it 6 months ago for my old list. Ursarctic drytron never stood out to me as an amazing card even the fusion they have seemed mid at best. You still need setup to get into the fusion and the fusion doesn't immediately plus you which is the problem. It's alot of effort to get thru for a mediocre payoff in my opinion even with the fact that Ursarctic drytron is now searchable off the new main deck monster. We only play the 1 big dipper which we'd have to increase to a 2 or 3 of assuming we go down that line into the fusion because you banish both fafnir and dipper to make it but the dipper field spell is needed for the cost mitigation so you end up adding like 4 to 7 extra cards in total depending on ratios and it just doesn't seem worth it to me. That's why I chose to exclude it in the old build and even now in this new current build. There's better things to do with the slots in the extra than trying to make space for their situational fusion monster.

    I'm absolutely sold on Riot Dragon, sounds waaaaay more useful than the situational Sauravis negate that wasn't live most of the time since it was sent to GY as tribute fodder anyway.
    I gotta ask tho, what are your personal thoughts on Revolution Synchron? It may not be as flexible as the Righty/Lefty engine, but it's yet another potential engine in case you don't draw them; it's an easy normal to get a lvl 10 Synchro on field + also capable of a once-per-duel effect for a lvl 8 Synchro that (IF YOU ARE CRAZY ENOUGH) can be used as a bridge for Tzolkin plays.
    Tzolkin is probably way too situational and gimmicky to be consistent but hey, you can still attempt to bring out Baronne ASAP to protect yourself before you commit to the usual Ursarctic combo line (inb4 giant rock wants to slap me in the face) + potentially have that extra Omega/Dragite on field.
    btw keep up the good work!!! your old deck profile was the main reason i decided to give Ursarctic a chance and now it is probably one of my favorite decks to play ❤

    • @Nickscruiser
      @Nickscruiser  Год назад +1

      Yea sauravis in the old build was cool but tbh riot dragon has proven to be wayyy more useful especially to get rid of spent radiations so you can activate another and get those sweet free draws!

    • @Nickscruiser
      @Nickscruiser  Год назад +1

      Also as far as rev synchron goes, I can see it being useful but I do believe the right lefty package is still more flexible. I wouldn't cut the righty lefty package for revs I'd maybe try to add revs in addition to the righty lefty package.

    • @coffeeclover33

      Assault synchron is a much better tech imo. It can summon for free buy paying 700, in theme with ursarctic cards, then reverse synchro with polari into polar star for the double cheat synchro
      Also great for level 9 synchro plays

  • @thewrestler2412
    @thewrestler2412 Год назад

    You didn't like the DPE engine that much? You say you play the riot for the radiation pop but DPE you played before do the same thing plus poping one on the opponent field

    • @Nickscruiser
      @Nickscruiser  Год назад +1

      Dpe engine took too much main deck space and I always and I mean always drew into its fusion material which is dead in hand. Also once you make dpe the other 2 copies of fusion destiny also become bricks. Not to mention DPE is alot worse now that it was before because the bystials exist now and can just banish it from the GY making your investment worthless. Also the presence of Kashtira something that also didn't exist before makes DPE harder to use since you're constantly playing under a macro cosmos effect with arise heart. Riot dragon is just a 1 of unlike the 5 cards needed for DPE and if you draw into the riot it's not a brick like the DPE material because you can still tribute riot from hand to summon any ursarctic.

    25th like! Great review, this is one of my favourite decks so I’d been great to see a few people’s techs and builds, riot dragon is so so smart.
    I recommend trying between 1-3 assault synchron if you can find space as it can really increase the ursarctic end board!
    Edit - are you able to hard summon trishula, or is it only there for trishula zero’s effect?

    • @Nickscruiser

      You can hard summon level 9 Trish. Righty driver + minor bear + polari or polar star. You can also use righty driver + minor bear + crystal girl.

    does Ultimaya Tzolkin + crystal wing make sense in this deck ?

    • @Nickscruiser
      @Nickscruiser  Год назад +1

      It can, however, a few things to note. In order to make Tzolkin, you'd need a level 7 tuner of some sort or a level 8 non tuner. The latter of which is probably easier to bring to the field. You use that plus a major bear to go into Tzolkin but would still need a spell/trap to set in order to trigger Tzolkin which makes it situational given this deck doesn't play a big spell/trap line up. In short, can you do it? Yes, but is it necessarily good given the effort this deck needs to do it? Some including myself would say no.
