Whats going on duelists! As you know I always do my videos unrehearsed and off the cuff. If i make a mistake during the combos bare with me as im trying my best haha. With that being said however i realized i sold myself short. 2 things, in the 1st combo when i use Resonance to dump Beargram to the GY, i shouldve sent Bio Insect Armor instead so @ the 30:15 mark, I couldve used Beetrooper Landing to fuse into Heavy Cavalry using the Armor Horn on field & the Rapier in the hand. Then i couldve used Bio Insect Armor in the GY to equip to Cruel Saturnas allowing me to tribute Saturnas to summon the newly added Ultimate Great Insect. Not only would that have given me a better body to end on than Saturnas. But it wouldve bolstered the banish count of my insects since Bio Insect wouldve banished itself and Saturnas allowing my Partisan to pop additional cards on my opponents turn and it still wouldve allowed me to maintain Invincible Altas on the field too to ensure Fly & Sting is live. Again, my apologies for not seeing that line at the time, but i hope you all still enjoyed the content and i hope it was helpful to give you an idea of how the deck should be played!
I trully enjoy your videos. Compared to some youtubers that only made some half baked deck profiles, you make actual good decks, with some great techs and show how the decks plays
I really enjoyed and appreciate showing us this cool combo! I do have a couple of questions. 1) How good is the combo line under shifter? 2) How good it is under shifter and going 2nd? Also, you should put in Rivalry and anti-spell just to lock down everything that the opponent plays.
@longface101 This deck can play under shifter quite well actually. Better than most decks I'd say. A lot of your bugs don't mind being banished, and as they do get banished, you bolster your count for Grand Partisan to hit the field like a house! I'd say under shifter focus on getting to partisan whether going 1st or 2nd. And the ragnaraika trap wisteria of woe can recycle your banished bugs, and evil seed can grab the trap from the banished zone as well to keep it in rotation. I'd say under shifter this deck is fine. Some of the lines change obviously, but the deck functions better than some might think under shifter.
What does the antlion do for the deck? And how often does Bio Insect Armor actually come up? I'm trying without it and am unsure if I'm gonna run it. Also I'm running Parasite Paranoid in the the side deck since it can out crimson dragon, as well as contact c which is gonna be really good when ryzeal comes along. (I'm not sure what the "C" looking card in your side deck was so idk of you're running it as well)
@keeperskeeper5338 antlion gives you a searchable disruption off of retaliating c. And it's a way to recycle gokipole for an additional use and serves as a way to also make Ultimate Great Insect. Bio insect comes up alot for me actually you usually dump it to gy with resonance and then you can equip to any insect giving that bug a massive stat boost or using it alongside Grand Partisan so if Partisan leaves the field by any means it just gets banished instead triggering it's effect in the banish zone.
@@brendanbassett450 you can actually they have so many ways to extend a handtrap here or there won't stop you unless it's something high impact like droll or nib.
@brendanbassett450 i have a decklist on the channel, yes but I'll be doing an updated list on the channel sometime this weekend just making some tweaks
If wicked butterfly is returned back to the deck still active his effect to draw on the end phase? If you think about it she will resolve in deck, im kinda lost on that ruling
@edgardoarevalo1366 if wicked butterfly is shuffled back into the deck from banished she will still trigger in the end phase, yes. The reason is because she activates and resolves in the banish zone. It's just a delayed resolution. Think bystial magnamhut how it triggers to search in end phase but then is sent to gy as material for something else. During end phase it still resolves even though it's not on field anymore. Another example is mirrojade end phase effect to nuke the board. It activates when it leaves the field but doesn't resolve until end phase.
@j.s.h7046 honest answer is you don't. With the insect lock restrictions, you're limited on what u can make from the extra deck, and as it stands, insects have no extra deck tools to counter nib, which is sad. However, with that being said, this deck has such explosive plays your opponent will most likely nib you early and you can usually still extend past that unless your opponent holds the nib which they probably won't. I explain it during the video at 1 point where if they dropped nib at that time, I'd still have 4 extenders to push thru it. Until bugs get more extra deck tools nib will unfortunately always be an issue. Luckily for us, Nibiru is falling out of favor in the meta.
The only thing you could try is using cicada king to summon scary moth early if you're okay with behind under the moth restriction. Nib requires you to summon 2 monsters, but if moth is on board you cannot summon it.
@jaredricci9278 you can definitely do that but sometimes you're going 2nd and it's just in your hand. Also if drawn off the endphase effect of wicked butterfly you can't set it and are just forced to use it from hand.

Something about the last combo! 49:01
I know its super nitpicky, but you could use Soma and the grandpartisin, use it and atlas to make sovereign stag
Combos for days!
@@camargotechx7 seriously! This deck can just cook until your opponent is well done!

@keeperskeeper5338 sometimes you can't always get to Partisan & heavy Cavalry together if you're playing thru alot of disruption.
@@Nickscruiser So it's a pivot option. Thanks for the insight!
