- Harry Sparks is just as much an innovator as he is a true Honda guy. After years of racing B-series Hondas, Harry stepped it up with his 9th generation Civic, converting it to AWD and pushing the chassis to new limits. He's been the first in the 10's, 9's, 8's! You've got to hand it to him, he's done more with this chassis than anyone else has dared to do and is backing it with impressive times. We hope to see more of this car in the future!

Harry and I were at a Car Meet once, and an Ice Cream Truck rolls up. We look at each other thinking the same thing, "smartest man ever". 20 mins later he had a line of 40 people. Turns out, the driver never knew there was a meet there.

I’m slowly building my 9th gen si into a daily I can track
Just started this last year on my 9th Gen. I've changed the entire suspension and got stiffer rear sway bar, subframe and FR & RR braces...the car is amazing to drive even with stock power. I love it as a daily and it's great for spirited driving. Respect to you, it's nice to see other people build the 9th gen

I've been working on a 10th gen for a customer for a couple years. I never knew about this car, but it's almost a clone to what I've been building. We're about to awd K swap it and I have the exhaust out the passenger fender. If I knew this car existed I would of changed a few things up lol

Yeah I used to make all the civic jokes as a kid and talk shit on Honda owners online, then I really started growing around to them, and then the first car I bought myself was an RSX Type-S (basically an 8th gen Civic Si) I've never regretted my decision for a second, best choice I could have made. You really have to drive one to understand it

I did a review if this car way back when they performed in Cecil county Maryland.
Damn kept the z7 in nice man
the problem with Z7 when it comes to making high horse power is in the head not the block other then that the K24Z7 is a great engine and he already mentioned that he changed the head to a older K-SERIES without the integrated exhaust manifold and Vtec on both cams which really makes the K24Z7 wake up even N/a
@@FB6K24Z7 z7 can make power bisimoto made 1000hp on his wago and said that the integrated manifold showed to be better for a turbo application, the exhaust gases have to travel less to spoil the turbo.
@@lavidaesmejorenelagua what your saying is true but having Vtec on the exhaust side also helps at making power at high revs even with a turbo

Vagtrashcan drivers aren't allowed to talk, shut it. And evo is oversized to at least 2.4, perhaps even more. (If it still has a 4g63 engine)

@@KJTUSKJTUS I know, it's obvious from the intake in the front, corrected it after watching more. But some people are so butthurt from civics that they can't help commenting negatively. Its quarter mile is faster than nevera's, but as I said... Vagtrashcan kids are all about awd dsg at the red light vs manual fwds, running 13 sec passes and when they see something faster, they start flaming. Ah and it's manual too

Sick build. I think it would be fun to have the worlds quickest AWD Element or CRV. Should be easier since you're starting off with a AWD 2.4L manual from the factory.

if he is pushing 1000+ on the dyno then he is pushing maybe close to or almost 1200hp to the crank, which is what most k24A2s are running, so which block is better?

That's the turbo intake out the hood(assuming that what you're referring to). The exhaust dump is on the fender.

cut the exhaust flush and re route that intake for the turbo. thats prob a fair bit of drag on those two alone
