As I've said the moment his position was a rumour, Nobel will be NOTHING but a company man. Has come out AND done or said nex to NOTHING to indicate where he stands. Just another buffer.

For Steidten to show his authority, the club must employ his choice as new manager , if that's Lopetegui, fine , if its Amorim, why haven't we signed him ? The so called division in the fans doesn't concern me one bit , there's always the fans that want to see the club grow & you'll always have those that are content with mediocrity & resist change , some even believe that West Ham are a small club that can't progress . It's nature , that's how people are . Again , I think any .manger will struggle to do his job , while Sullivan is here

He's only got to do the following :
1. Be competent
2. Use squad
3. Make subs when needed
4. Actually try to win games
5. Don't be a dick to the fans

And now this confirms my fears until David Sullivan is not at the Helm ,of my club West Ham,,, we will be fighting relegation each season ,,,,we were so lucky with David Moyes,
That's my main concern that Steidten has to be boss and whoever else comes in is underneath him and just coaches the players that he brings in

We can only sign a manager if he wants to come here.Fonseca and Amorim obviously don't. It is a board decision as someone says below.....but Sullivan has a VETO against anyone he does not want.
imagine Amorim coming in and getting mugged off by Sully ? This is key ....JL works as head coach and TS & Nobes steer the ship whilst coach concentrates on the football ...he may say the captain cant even run ? Problem addressed by DOF & SD ...job done if Sully gets chequebook out (has happened for DM) ..this will work cos this bloke managed Spain ffs COYI

Its not upto sullivan its a board decision so if we get lopetigui its not just because of sullivan its the board.
Who ever comes in as manager he’s going to have his work cut out to make something out of what’s left of our squad that’s worth keeping sort out the deadwood deal with players we have to sell and work with DOF to get players in no mean feat
Its going to be tricky, for every one.i hope he doesn't comeout with winning is what i do.,he needs to give the young players a few minutes.lets hope he achieve s for us and himself and club .move on and up.
The way he handles the press and they announce it (ie with TS) is critical to get everyone on board

The stubbornness of Moyes the small squad and considering this not using our youth. No one on bench to give players a rest .He drained the life out of me to the point if he stayed I wasn’t going to renew . Hopefully the new guy will work with Tim’s offerings and like most clubs a workable bench when players are out of form or just need a rest .
Lopetegui is NOT my 1st - 5th choice either but I/YOU am POWERLESS to have ANY form of influence as to who is appointed as Head Coach. We all will just have to remain patient and wait see what develops. In relation to who is "firmly in control"❓😕 🤔😁😕😡. My ONLY major concern is who is Lopetegui here for. Himself, Sully or the fans & greatness. COYI's
Moyes leaves a toxic legacy. An academy ignored. Relegation form. Discontent star players. A poor captain, broken and slow. An ageing, slow, small squad with lack of fire power. No pathway for youth and even Johnson looking elsewhere. But worse no Europe, limiting our choice of players, coaches and retaining our best.

If you look closely at the energy within lopetegu, you will realise he has the same energy as moyes i.e. the dull, boring, washed up, weak, cant be bothered energy. Exactly the same energy as moyes.
In fact look at the skin on his face, same tired washed up delusional look look as moyes. You can almost mistake his energy as being moyes energy.
So iam afraid its a huge mistake appointing him.
He will be the 2nd comjng of moyes, and will ruin us.
He will continue the boring football of moyes, the very reason why we want moyes out in the first place. He will continue that .
We will struggle to break top ten let alone play in europe.
Its going to be a huge step backwards for the club.
