Get over Johnson, he's not good enough, walker Peters big upgrade.
He absolutely is good enough to be a squad player, and was our ONLY club home grown player in the first team squad. Ridiculous comment.
@@derelict06 If he was good enough he would have been in the team by now, he's 24
I dont know what people see when it comes to Johnson he was just fine , sometimes he was awful but mostly just fine . I think people are wearing their claret and blue specs when it comes to johnson because he's an academy player . He's a lovely guy but not really good enough to be a starter at west ham . Yes he was fine to have for cover but I think we can get a better player as cover than Johnson
Can we send jwp back too?!😂😂😂😂
Ha bit harsh maybe Koral? 😀
Was 40c here last week, i know i have AC in Delaware, but yeah hot.
35c here in HK
Blimey ! Keep safe out there pal ⚒
If you go back and look at his performances in the world cup you will not want him as our striker.
I have actually been overall impressed from what I have seen but yeah always on the side of caution. Esp when it comes to West Ham and buying a striker!
Johnson wasn't good enough in any of those positions. Very poor positionally. I'm sure JLo has told him he's not in his plans. He had his best 20mins for West ham when he was put in midfield v Sheffield Utd. I'm sorry it didn't work out for him personally but there's no room for sentiment when you're trying to improve the squad.
Of course that’s five mate if that’s your view but tbh I think he’s proven to be very useful and it’s rare to have a player who can play in various positions. It’s a shame imo but one that we now need to deal with
Southgate fucked up when he didn’t take Grealish. England are bland.⚒
I have to agree. Ridiculous decision ⚒
How can you rate Johnson, obviously you need to watch the games he's played, championship at best
I personally think he’s done well when called upon last season. And useful squad player for us ⚒
Is Freddie Potts coming back? And any news on the new kit?
According to ex kits in the next two weeks
Potts is already back.
@@cravenmoorehead8 I wasn't sure thanks mate
Back this summer mate to try and impress the new head coach
Ben Johnson is better than you think I think he is a good player
I do think he’s decent mate
Johnson will have a better chance playing at Ipswich.... I think West Ham should be looking for better 🤔
David would be the striker signing we’ve been starving for for years.
Really want to see us make some movement on this I must say ⚒
He's found his limit at Ipswich, if he gets in their team
In the good old days when only one sub was allowed, a utility man was a credible requirement on the bench. In the days of 5 subs, you need a bench of specialists. Johnson isn't good enough for any one position.
I do get the impression the dispute wasn't about how much wages West Ham were offering. And its unfair to criticise the club for not offering 50k/week for bench warming mediocrity. It was they weren't able to offer him regular first team action. Leaving us, is the best for all parties.
I personally think he’d have stayed if we had offered what we had in the first place and I just think that ability to step in was very useful. It’s not end of the world of course , just disappointing esp as it feels rather self inflicted
Said on here a fair few weeks ago when we were being linked with all these players, that once ST´s were sold our transfer strategy would change & it has.
Suddenly we’re skint & back looking at freebies & loans & all the “big names” haven’t materialised.
Another window of “we couldn’t get it over the line”, “the player changed his demands” & deadline day scattergun bids with no end result.
Unless as I predicted we sell Kudus or Bowen…………

Im gutted Johno is leaving West Ham
Same here pal
Johnson was not a premiership talent and next season he will probably get Ipswich relegated sorry to be harsh but I think he’s got a big mistake a game in him
One of Johnson’s best games was Lyon away at left back
I totally agree with you about Ben Johnson... Ipswich will be getting a good player and their fans should be delighted.
It seems he doesn’t have the confidence to make the right back slot his own so of to relegation fodder
Aaron Wan-Bissaka
on loan 🤔
He's signing for a club in Turkey.
Would love him. The fee being quoted is so reasonable.
He’s Fenerbache bound
