You've actually got it completely backwards. It's not another failed Zeta MP unit. The Zeta is an improved, more combat ready Methuss. The Methuss was the first transformable mobile suit and the Zeta used data from it.
It is another one that I am very interested in. Even though it's been out for many years Thinking about this guy, I miss the video clip of the review you made. I think the design of Methus is awesome. It looks unique and memorable. In addition to searching the history and found that This production line has found that it is a prototype of many other mobile suits that will come to mind, such as Ms. Rezel.
A year ago is when i first got into gunpla i was shopping online for a kit and i still havent even watched one video on gunpla reviews but then i saw the methuss i went over to youtube and i saw this video so this is the very first gunpla review ive ever seen and right now im enjoying the hguc methuss
Got this Kit myself not to long ago, for its Age its a pretty good kit in my eyes. The few things i dont like about it is that the shoulders have very little movement, and on mine at least; the hands are loose... But other than those things I like it, its one of those Designs I think Need more love.
Those hands are very loose. It was frustrating keeping them on after swapping between the beam sabers and beam guns that I ended up cementing one of them.
i guess the reversed arm for the guns is some kind of support , since i haven't read about the Methuss , i can't say that the guns may not have a stable firing power , but as i saw in Gundam Battle Universe , the Methuss crosses its arms when firing , so i guess it was for that purpose since i wouldn't do the same with detached guns.
while watching this I realised the center portion of the Methuss looks like a face, the shoulder sensors being the eyes (it even has eyelids!) and the huge crotch piece being the nose. I can't unsee it now!
I've been on the fence about this kit for a while now. still not sure, but I have the old 1/144 version, funny thing about the old one it can hold its beam guns without doing that strange arm pose.
When I built this kit, I placed the torso pipes upside down by accident, and the crotch guard thing ended looking like a large pair of panties. It certainly makes this kit a lot less awkward.

I miss Sd Gundam capsule fighters. In a perfect world it never stopped and it had way more content, but we live in the bad timeline.

That crutch horn is almost as impressive as the O's crutch "arms", the Methuss has a very weird design overall but I kind of like it.
Now that I main it in Gundam Evolution I want it

areasevenpro why not tighten the ball joint with nail polish or etc?
It's not the ball joint that has issues. It's the two halves of the hand.
just glue it. Look up Tamiya Extra Thin Cement. It's my go-to glue for plastic models. Thin and quick-drying
I use Mr. Cement S for small parts.
I never tried that yet other than the Tamiya products, but I guess as long as it's model cement, it would still work

Cool. Some of the HGUC kits don't have reviews on youtube so its cool you do some older kits.
They could make a guncannon detector with a re 100 methuss.
