fun fact about the box art, during the airing of Gundam Build Fighters they have not yet made a HGUC Barzam kit that in the anime one of the characters is seen holding a "fictional" HGUC Barzam box which they took inspiration for the actual kit, yes the box art is also an in-joke.
Design wise, it’s the best High Grade out there through color separation. Bought Titan water slides stickers for this model and cut up a green foil sticker for the sensors of the Vulcans
Great review! I’ve always preferred the Refined Barzam or even Fujioka’s take on the Barzam, but this kit seems very faithful to this quirky Zeta design. My only wish was that the blue used on the Barzam was the same as the other Titans machines (Adv Hazel, Mk II, TR-6 Hyzenthlay, etc) bur from the side-by-side comparisons it looks to be a shade or two brighter and won’t match.
Well the Zeta ones are an early rushed model. The Barzam was planned to be closer to the Gundam MK2. The BarGM is another with 2 variants the more early Barzam and refined variant designs.
@@azlan4269 Barzam is the only Titans mobile suit that got fully mass-produced in house based of the research and datas from the AoZ times, if you're not counting GM Quel, but that thing is derived from GM Custom, and older mobile suit.
You'd think the Titans would learn from the Gelgoog's only failure. But they're the *Titans,* after all... 4:19 I see you're familiar with the teachings of the Church Of Thighdeology.
Gelgoog itself is fine, trouble is it just came out *late* in the OYW and top of that shortage of veteran pilots which putting a fresh recruit in the Gelgoog which is state of the art mobile suit which a rookie may have trouble with. Barzam on other hand met a similar fate as the Gelgoog and just like the Gelgoog came out late by the end conflict and too make matters worse Titans were cut off from EF after thier attack on Dakar to stop the AEUG speech there which resulted existing members either out right leave or stay to the bitter end and possibly no new recruits at all for the Titans.
I haven't watched kakarot review for a very long time. The last time I watched ur review was hg strike noir. Wow that was a long time ago. Your video getting better, keep it up man! .barzam looks great!
Awsome! The Barzam is an underrated gem. Please, could you explain the AOZ Inle Reboot manga? Hell, I have the first 4 volumes if you need to borrow them. Thanks!
In a bar made for giants, a bunch of giants are just chilling and drinking their beers. However, suddenly a Barzam flew through the door and then slam its robotic fist on the counter yelling "BARZAM!" before demanding the bartender giant to give it a drink. The giants then look at each other and then sigh saying "Freakin Titans..."
the only strange thing is that , when you play GBU , the Barzam isn't actually like this , but instead its third party RG kit , wish they'd make a HG of this version , feels like something that deserves a common release and not P-Bandai from the third party kit
I gonna say, this is one my favorite Titans Mobile Suits. But my best parts about this kit,is you can kit bash with Gundam MK II Titans to create into Refined Barzam.
I’m disappointed that they keep pushing the retconned idea of the Barzam being related to the Mk II, when true to its original design it was developed by the EF as a very cost effective replacement for the aging GM II, even said to cost only 50% to produce than a GM II. More importantly, it was also designed to be able to use weapons & equipment from both the GM II & Hizack, something which doesn’t seem replicated by the model kit.
If you can find a GM II HGUC Kit and the Barzam HGUC Kit I’d use the left over marking stickers to give that Titans feel. This review makes me want to buy another Barzam!
I've been growing to the barzam since quarantine and damn I really wish we got the refine and it's eiffle tower for me to buy. Have you checked out the RG brazam conversion kit?
Hey Kakarot, your Barzam got some stress marks on the part that connects the legs to the hips? Because I've got stress marks on mine despite building it properly, I even saw a white line on the same area in your video too. Not many reviewers talk about it if ever even know of the problem. I've been deathly afraid of handling the Barzam ever since.
Hey man, just a bit of advise: you might want to tone down the light a little bit in your future reviews. It is simply too bright in this video. Otherwise, it's an excellent review.
not perfect?? for me its beautifully perfect i keep looking at these in store shelves but im not really sure about the articulation amd color accuracy but now that you just made a beautiful review about this.. i m now going to buy 3 of them they only cost 800 pesos here thanks for the nice review
Okay... Where is the character with the pointer from... It looks so familiar yet I can't place it... it is making me crazier than the logic behind Gundam Wing's plot.
Hey Kakarot, there's one part of this kit that you should be careful. I saw many HGUC Barzam review where the hip joints have a stress marks. I never heard any report or story were the joints is break off, but you should be careful when moving it.
Hey kakarot, im painting a custom TB's FA-78 in Titans colors and I need some direction. Regarding the shields, do you think the white parts of the shield should be red or yellow? The red-orange parts of the shield are titansblue and darkgrey like mkII shield...
Made a pseudo refined Barzam using the arms, chest, backpack, waist, and upper thigh from the MK II and the head and the Barzam's legs. I cut away at the thigh armor to allow it to fit the MK II upper thigh and the skirt armor.
This Mobile Suit does not even resemble with Mk II in the anime whatsoever. Not even close to that thing. And yet they slapped that bullshit right here. The joints are way too different, the propotions are far off...... I mean, what kind of crack did the designer sniffed!? If this MS should be based of the Mk II, or maybe if this suit used the Mk II inner frame, then put some ques that indicate the connection between the two of them. Maybe having the waist part and thighs that resembled Mk II, or the arm joints, etc. No offense to Barzam, the design is good. Just, don't call things that are totally different as having "similarities" that are practically non-existent.
the way you pronounced "THICC. THIGHS."..... yup, here's a like
I really like the look of the Marasai, Barzam, and Hizack side-by-side -- such a colorful, complementary team.

À
I feel like the barzam was under covered and under appreciated, this is an amazing kit and I am now adding it to my lockdown backlog
It's a complete different story in Japan because this kit made a lot of a impact than you thought
The barzam is one of the most underrated mass production grunt suits.
Design wise, it’s the best High Grade out there through color separation. Bought Titan water slides stickers for this model and cut up a green foil sticker for the sensors of the Vulcans
I love how the beam rifle looks like an Armored Core laser blade

all the developments from AoZ and it turned out into this.
But Gundam Mk-II also build based on Gundam that was built in AoZ
@@azlan4269 Barzam is the only Titans mobile suit that got fully mass-produced in house based of the research and datas from the AoZ times, if you're not counting GM Quel, but that thing is derived from GM Custom, and older mobile suit.
to say the least; all of the research and development goes to a mobile suit that's just only more powerful than the already outdated Gundam Mk-II.
@@azizabdul8914 so Gundam Mk-II has nothing to do with AoZ ?
Sorry for the bother
But what does AoZ mean?
Axis of Zeon?

Hazzah!! A man of quality!
What was the Gelgoog's problem?

Exactly. The Gelgoog was effectively Zeon's Gundam. Thing is, it came out so late in the war it couldn't do shit.
Inb4, Woundwort is the thicc Thightan
We can use the engineering in his hip joints for a Revive Serpent model kit.
Sounds dope.
Barzam has always been one of my faves, no matter what my brother thinks.
underrated kits, it articulates so good and one of my favorite kits

I want a Barzam refined type and a BarGM in none P Bandai HG kits.
There is a 3rd party Refined Barzam conversion kit, it's built around the RG Mk2
4:02 That exposed waist machinery is very Iron-Blooded Orphans.
I had a robot damashii of this but it always pop off in the elbow and shoulder. So im buying the hg of this thanks to you men

Great review of a great boi Kakarot. But you missed one thing: It's compatible with the G-Defenser!
I have a G-defender too so it fits on this kit perfectly, however using a revived MK-II backpack is easier and without modifications
I like the recent changes to you reviews
I want to put the ReRise injustice weapons pack on this kit. Looks like it was made for the Barzam.

Yeah when it came out of the smoke? Such underrated grunt
I'm kinda surprised that you don't have a image of Meyrin with a pointer for these videos.

Barzam. This MS actually intended as mass production version of Gundam Mk.II.
great review brother!

Ah the Barzam, truly a great mass production mobile suit design.
3:30 this is true, I broke off the balljoint trying to take the arm off
Interesing bit of trivia- when the HGUC Barzam prototype was unveiled, it was shown off with FISTS and not open hands.
The Virgin Gundam Mk.II Versus The CHAD Barzam.
The HGUC that made a cameo in Build Fighters before it existed IRL...
Ah yes so it wasn't my imagination seeing the kit in the background of your question of the week
i'm having a deja'vu moment here, i thought you already reviewed it
The funny thing is, so did I.
Hmmm? Barzam is a left-handed mobile suit?
why does the mark ii have the Amuro symbol?
Barzam is probably my all time favorite mass production suit.
The kit looks like it takes more after the AoZ aesthetic, but *god* does it look good. I haven't seen much of Zeta but even I want one of those.
Love this kit.
The articulation on that is very nice!
This reminds me of wave man or that penguin Pokemon. I think this thing is the inspired them.
I've been growing to the barzam since quarantine and damn I really wish we got the refine and it's eiffle tower for me to buy. Have you checked out the RG brazam conversion kit?
Watch from 0:05 to 0:10 with the captions on, that one hell of a typo lol
Love the review

Yeah, mine has unfortunately snap off.
I got the stress marks on the shoulders.
Same. My hip's outward hinge has also loosened up too much. It stands really well, oddly, but the leg just wobbles side to side when suspended. XP

I hope they will release the the Barzam refine type, from Sentinels, one of these days.
you said you couldn't pull out the arms from the sockets right? Would you say that all barzam kits are this study and tight, or just yours?
Okay... Where is the character with the pointer from... It looks so familiar yet I can't place it... it is making me crazier than the logic behind Gundam Wing's plot.
Am I the only one who thinks that Barzam has Freeza mook vibes? Imagine alien in blue suit, body armour, scouter and blaster.
Is the GM quel a mass production suit
Yep

The Barzam is a very well sized MS. Not too big and not the standard height either.
Really hoping we get an HG of the Refined Barzam (likelihood is close to 0% lol) and no, the RG conversion kit doesnt count
Just wish they would make a RE or MG version
looks like an emblem with limbs.. nice looks tho.. i guess its great on kitbash use
Think it could be combined w the g defenser?
Huh. I always thought that was a shield, never knew it was a beam rifle.

i uh...i bumped into autogenerated caption here and uhh...caption says your name is cockroach 197 kinda weird caption there 😄
Does anyone know where i can watch gundam zeta online?
Also gotta paint the air intakes in the legs, black.
I was born to be a gundam, then they gave me a funny hat
I mean I wouldn't say any part is gundam like
Barzam history please
I wished bandai would make the Refined Barzam.
I kinda miss the (+Facts) and the "do you want to buy this" in your videos
An impressive machine, but arrived too late change the outcome of the war for the Titans.

The Barzam in Zeta was rushed. Most of its Joints and arm units are from the Brylant and gaplant. The Refined Barzam is the true design.
