The GM Striker is from the manga series Mobile Suit Gundam: We're Federation Hooligans!! and its sequel manga series Mobile Suit Gundam Katana for those who want to know.
I would imagine the scythe style is meant to do a draw cut when you pull the spear back. Basically- you stab, the enemy dodges or deflects, and then you hit them from the side or behind as you pull the weapon back. This helps to minimize the vulnerability that comes when you are retrieving a spear after a thrust.
Ok, you like the wooden background, so what you could do is put white paper on the side and top panels of the shelf space and attach the lights over the paper. That way you won't have to add a third light as white surfaces reflect light evenly.
Yes, but as I said, you still keep your background. Since your camera focus is on the model itself this setup won't show up onscreen (most of the time). Hope this helps you make better videos. You take constructive feedback well so I'm confident you will make this work.

I have blue hologram stickers that I used for the front and back sensors on the helmet, don't like the red that is the same exact metallic stickers as the cockpit. It looks GREAT.. Panel lined it completely and put a cammo TITANS waterslide on the shield, and put a longer red AND yellow beam effects in the lance...Just a couple custom touches that made it better imo.
If this is based on the Gm type C, then this would probably have a great time holding its gun in two hands. The type C had relatively long arms due to how it did the double joint (notice how the elbow bolt is with the double joint, rather than with the forearm- it adds rather than gets covered up). As long as you do a bit of arm swivel, you shouldn't have too much trouble reaching around- even to the point of holding it under the barrel with the open hand. The long can give the suit a bit of a gorilla appearance...but the type C based kits often use bazookas (or in this case a huge spear), so it works out rather well for giving a bit beefy heavy damage suit. So this is from that era where they really started to focus on giving kits good articulation. These can even do double handed poses with the beam sabers.
The only place I seen this suit in was Gundam Crossfire for the PS3. I loved the look but the weapon seemed to be slower and I preferred other GM suits or the Ground Gundam over this. Most people on RUclips changes the type to Heavy and it's charcoal black and the armor lines that you colored black, turn like a copper red or burnt orange like color, from what I remember. It looks so much better because it looks more like a death suit, with that weapon.

Yes but not if they dodge and then come right for you. Better off grabbing that extra beam saber on your back.

The hinged hand is from the Type C/Powered GM.They use the hand for their rifles.

@@marasai426 that's cool. It was probably in the game because of that. It is a cool iteration for the GM.
What color panel line did you use, black or grey?
Black since its the only one i usually purchase.
The GM 2 with the Twin Beam Spear is called the GM Semi-Striker.
Half the striker, double the screen time, half the awesomeness
good work on the lightings its much better, btw how old is that kit? is it like in the unicorn years kit or the very 1st gundam year kit?
Charlie426 there should be a time stamp on the box
It came out in 2006. I’ve been working on one of my own for the past few weeks. It’s a cool kit.
The GM in unicorn was called the GM Semi Striker.
I still wonder why bandai never released a gm striker custom :(
You should of used the stickers on the fronts/sides of the legs despite how many times those would need to fold on the calves they stick pretty well
Do you have the HG revive Gouf?
i saw the gm striker on build divers episode 10 twice
u changed your cam?
oh because of graphic looked better than before and sorry for the mean comment of your cam last time
