Comment on cashless. I agree with you about being forced to pay by card. I went to a public toilet in Scarborough today, July 2024. On the seafront, South Bay, near this hotel. It cost 50p and it only took cash cards. When I got inside it, it was filthy. Not worth 50p and no way was the fact that no one can pay cash acceptable. No receipt was given either. It said the door opened automatically after 5 minutes but I didn't wait that long! There was a button to release the lock on the door but it took several attempts to get it to work!
