It’s definitely freshly cooked bacon it’s been cooked in the oven overlapping each piece that’s why you get the fat residue

Yeah Deano, you know what you're in for if a breccy is too cheap. It's nice to save a couple of quid but truthfully you get what you pay for. I love a cheap breakfast in the pub because at least you can enjoy a beer regardless of the grub . A ❤😮😊

What were you expecting from a £4.40 breakfast? You would get quality for that.
It's been a few years since I've been to 'Scarbados', but I'm going there the week after next for 5 days.
I'm booked in 'Room Only' at a guest house, so I'm intending to breakfast at The Conservatory every morning; lets face, it, at £6.10 with the tea, you can't go wrong.
I've eaten there before, btw.
I'm with you on the chips, though - give me good, old-fashioned 'bubble 'n' squeak' every day of the week (mind you, I'll eat the chips, yes sirree Bob!).
Looking good to me Deano and top value.The proprietor won't be making much profit on the breakfast, obviously makes more on the drink.Good luck to them,l will definitely call in when l next visit 👍.
It is a azaming place we go every time we go to Scarborough we have dinner and the cakes are so big
If you prefer not to spend money on a more expensive breakfast, then why complain so much in your voiceover?You get what you pay for! And even this was too expensive for you (and you could have left the chips rather than moan about them). Want a more luxurious brekkie, then pay premium prices Deano!! Want a warm, filing start to the day? This place seems fine. And for some, a restaurant like this is a treat, remember that. And after your recent sausage vlog, you LOVE a cheap sausage!

@@SausageFingers73 It's just something I wouldn't have with a breakfast. I think they only put the chips on to fill it out a bit. Not a great chip fan so I would have asked them not to put chips on. That's just me though. 🤣

a good place for a breakfast is ' bakers & brew' in the market vaults just further down the street. run by lovely couple called Jim & lill.
nice big mugsof tea as well and the breakfasts are less than £4 im sure

Over here in Belfast we have the Ulster Fry, with the fried soad and potato bread, but you can have it with chips instead of the bread...
Come on down to Dorset, you’ll faint at the price of a breakfast here. £4.40 is an absolute steal.
Cheap sausage because super cheap breakfast. The bacon is cooked in the oven on a tray. Fresh toms are not as good as tinned on a brekkie, and you got two eggs.

Everything was nice, according to you, in the after commentary, except for the sausage. For just over 4 quid, I think that’s a great deal, by the standards of what you review on your channel.
People will say it looks chinsy or old fashioned, I actually think it has reassuring , welcoming look, reminds me of cafes used to go in back in the day on family holidays.
Aussie Blinky Bill here. I must say that I liked the look of the CCS. It came across as a comfortable place to visit. Neat & tidy and that's important to me. I'm also big on customer service. As this didn't get a mention, I wonder if it was good or not.
That breakfast was an interesting experiment, I suppose. On such occasions, I ask myself 'would I come back', and that determines the result.
If you're hungry and low on dosh, and we have all been there, then this meal is likely perfect for you.

Hi Deano, I think chips for breakfast has come from European countries, I was eating chips and boiled potatoes for breakfast in Riga, Latvia about 8 years ago, at the time it did seem a bit strange but after a couple of weeks I got used to the idea.

Cheapest breakfast in Scarborough, unless they have closed down was in the Market Vaults, £ 1.80 not a large breakfast but it did the job.

That er rain thing, bugger knows how true it is but a weatherman friend told me that yeah it actually does mean 100%, when they say 25% rain they mean it is going to rain but the precipitation is 25% meaning only 25% of the cloud essentially will rain so the coverage will either be very light or just located in a small area.
Which as our street once had the exact divide, as in you could stand at our house and be bone dry but walking literally 3 doors down it was pouring with rain... Ever since then I've believed him lol
£4.40 is cheap and cheerful, Looks alright but you have to judge it on would you go back again for another one?

4.40 is a bargain. Ya can't really expect butcher sausages etc for that price.
To be fair, that looks like a good scoff for the price. You get what you pay for, as my late stepmum used to say.
Compared to that London breakfast review you did Deano, this breakfast is like chalk and cheese. Or chalk and chips. Although it's a fair price for a breakfast, but I think a better quality sausage would have made a big difference. Or maybe even adding a battered cod as well.
I have only been served chips for breakfast when abroad. Cheap meal with cheap quality food. Looked good to me.

I think that they were a little deceptive here Deano... For them to advertise that you'll get two Sausages... When they were in fact Chipolatas... If someone stated that you'll get two Sausages... And you were served two Cocktail Sausages instead... You would be really annoyed by that... There are various sizes to Sausages as we all know... From the tiny Cocktail Sausages... Then the next size up would be the Chipolatas... Then the regular sized four inch Breakfast Sausage... Followed by a small five inch Hot Dog Sausage... And then there's a larger eight inch Chip Shop Style Jumbo Sausage... And finally you can get a Giant Foot Long Hot Dog Sausage... So they weren't being very forthcoming with their advertising here at the Conservatory Coffee Shop... And you were probably correct Deano... Leftover food from the previous day will typically be boxed up in plastic containers with lids.
They'll usually be refrigerated until the following day... Items like... Baked Beans... Tinned Tomatoes... Sausages... Bacon... Mushrooms... Then they'll be reheated the following day... The fact that you were the first customer through the door that day... Meant that it looked like you were the recipient of yesterdays refrigerated leftovers that they had reheated... The dead giveaway here were the Tinned Tomatoes... One Tomato was a Peeled Plum Tomato... And the other wasn't... As one of them clearly had it's skin still left on... Usually this is an indication of them using two separate varieties of Tinned Plum Tomatoes... And the two brands being mixed together... Most Cafe's will refrigerate leftovers... And simply reheat them the following day... But i think that they should at least try their very best at making those leftovers look and taste like they were cooked fresh that morning... Looks like a good deal to me Deano. People pay that for a cup of frothy coffee and don't even think about it. Okay it's cheap sausage, but to me it needed toast, not bread and butter. Also it's not just food that's going up, it's also wages, utility bills etc. What did tea cost? 😏 Place looks pleasant as well.

Chips on a breakfast. nope, looks cheap but your paying cheap. I admit I love a hotel breakfast but would be worried about the quality at what is a cheap hotel. Not been to a traditional B and B in ages but last lime I did the breakfast was amazing perhaps if I want cheap that the type of place to go.

I agree with you Deano. Was the food edible, yes. Was the food tasty, no. Would you go back their again, no. The price was OK, but would you pay a bit more for something better, yes.
Your not going to expect great quality for that price but if your correct you’d still expect it all to be cooked fresh and not yesterdays left overs warmed up.
Never sure about chips that early on unless u have been on a bender..

Canned tomatoes on top of the beans, nooooo!😁 In fact canned tomatoes on a breakfast with beans, not for me, either one or the other. But cheap enough, don't mind paying up to £10 for a breakfast but it's got to be decent quality.👍
Chips on a breakfast... NO, NO, NO... It did look like a cheap breakfast, but you can sometimes get away with it by mixing it all together; it gets a bonus point from me for the fried bread 👍
Your breakfast looked ok for the price they have to make a living to, people think that restaurant owners are rich there not prices are going up for them to.
Cheap yes and not the best breakfast but for such a cheap price...would cost more at the Scarborough weatherspoons, but a better sausage! Still value for money

To me, that seems a great value breaikfast. So the ingredients were not the best, hoever you got loads of food to get your day starting off well. It's a bit like the old saying. DOn't worry about the waulait feel the width, when it comes to checking clothing. If the food was piping hot and well cooked, what is there to say other than, better than a Britannia Hotel ot McD one.

To be fair regarding the dog interrupting a youtuber recording, I have to wonder what customers in these cafes etc, with all the rating youtube channels around, how many customers have to eat their meals with youtubers talking to a phone or camera at the next table when they want a bit of peace and quiet when they're trying to enjoy their food. Looking at the comments on this one Deano, I think you've misread the room and got this one wrong. Still like the channel though buddy.

Everythings going up in price but not in quality or size.. All by design when companies reporting record profits... Eventually these companies will get their commupence when people stop buying all the expensive crap and start cooking their own meals from farm grown veggies or home grown things.
