Yerhh I was surprised it came around after The Blockhead version. Had to get one. Cheers for dropping in. Hopefully we get a Madcap one day as I had one back in the day.
Really well done on the unboxing Paul, you made me feel as though I was right there unboxing the kit with you. I love the opening of the packs and getting a realistic feel of the product. Not too many do this type of video as well as you. Excellent!
The HS2 being the first and only Tamiya buggy I had back in the days, I have a soft spot for it and in my opinion it's the best looking of the family. The black body with the stripes and the red shocks, it looks very agressive. I can't wait to build mine (even if I already have an original). As for next, we can dream of another batch of the Bigwig, I need some parts 😊 Thanks for the build and looking forward to the running video 😁🤝
I remember the Hotshot 1 as my mate had one. I remember seeing a box in my Local Modelshop in Liverpool but never seen one in person till now. My First Tamiya was The Hornet. I remember the rear tires being slicks pretty soon into buying it LOL. You were a lucky boy to have one of these Paul.
Good ol memories of the Hotshot family.
Must have been some good times.
Absolutely. We had a small club of friends with Hotshots, Boomerangs, one Thundershot and a whole bunch of Hornets to bash around.
Thanks again my friend.....
Just staring mine, as you say a simple but enjoyable build.
Love you videos.

I literally just finished mine today , can’t believe how good these look in the flesh , added the silver bh wheels and god that looks good
Wanted them wheels for mine but couldn't find them at the time. Seen a few with them on. Looks good.
@@FullOnRC possibly seen mine as it’s all over Facebook today 😂
@@rexy_yee8431 😃that'll be it 😀
I am stoked you got one on the channel. Thanks for sharing the HS2.

Cheers Richard. That is awesome feedback. I love making this kind of content so glad it comes across in the videos.

Nice one Paul looks sweet 👌 looking forward to the running video 😁
Cheers Mark. Hopefully going to get it out this weekend. Bit reluctant to run this one as it looks so good.
Awesome and my first 4WD as a kid! Do you remember it from back in the day and what was your first Tamiya?

@@FullOnRC You must of been one of the rich kids right? we could only afford the grasshopper.
Nice build Paul, stunning looking rig the hs2, looks like it could use a spacer on the front shock?
Yerhh cheers. Will do that before I run it.
they need a harder spring up front
I agree. I wish Tamiya would spend a little more time on R+D when the Re-Re their kits. Too many issues it feels like lately with these RC's.
Nice job Paul, stunning rc the hs2, looks like it could use a spacer in the front shock?
