Man, I remember drooling over your acoustic electrics as a kid in your Santa Ana shop, so many years ago. How far you've come since when you already made exceptional pieces. Bravo!
It is becoming terrifying how many innovations the guitar industry is making. From downloadable tube amps, to guitars that never go out of tune, now to.....headless acoustics.......mind = blown.
It sounds huge although its a shallow body and finally an accoustic guitar with individual saddle for each string like an electric one no more sanding the saddle piece
@@outalingamcrap9366 I found an AC50F fretless one on the Guitar Center online webpage last year. Plays great. Had to change the old world flat wound strings on it, and put on nylon strings on it (highly recommended). Plays great now.
As an electric guitar player only interested in live playing, I have never been interested in playing an acoustic guitar live on stage with a band until now! For me being able to adjust the tuning of the strings with my right hand is huge.
nope. A Piezo pickup sense vibrations. It doesn't matter whether the string is nylon or bronze. I have two Godin acoustic/electric guitars. one with bronze strings and one with a tie-end nylon string bridge. @@the-LeoKnightus
That sound is somewhat of a latter day version of the original Ovation acoustic/electric guitars of the 1970's-1980's. People bought them as traveling/touring guitars. They were used to keep the precious Martin and other all wood guitars at the home place. They were easy to replace.
Price is reasonable for what looks like some top notch quality. I WILL be purchasing in next 12 months. Haven't been this excited for a guitar purchase in a while.
I feel like this is a big step forward for acoustic guitars. I'm not confident enough to adjust action or intonation on my traditional acoustic, so this is brilliant. Not sure I'm a fan on how it looks, but I'm sure that just comes down to personal preference
Kudos to Kiesel for daring to do something different. In general, guitarists are a sensitive bunch who fear change. I’d be tempted if I was in the market for a live acoustic 👍👍
The major deal with this design is the shear comfortable size ! You can sit in a lawn chair with arms on it , Tight corner in a bed room ,probably the front seat of your car ! And get an acoustic sound. Now that's is inspiring. Desire for this instrument will surely grow !
i just found a perfect condition 2021 model with a figured walnut top. i play 2-4 acoustic gigs per month, so it will be a great live acoustic for my looping/chill brew pub gigs.
what a cool instrument! I suppose it would be possible to add a magnetic pickup and have two outputs? It's so important to have companies like Kiesel - great work!
What a fantastic looking, totally unique instrument. And it sounds great too. But what really impresses me is that Kiesel employ someone who can play more than just the basic blues rock licks that we so often hear in demoing instruments and gear - often played extremely badly. This is interesting music, and interesting guitar playing - which immediately makes me more interested in the product.
This is just the beginning, the first step. Jeff is an innovator and I expect the next versions will take the concept further into new territory. Try to find a lefty acoustic- electric this advanced by any other builder.
I like it... looks. Sounds pretty impressive actually for a shallow body acoustic/electric. Pretty warm and natural sounding... and 24 frets! Great when having to do "acoustic" versions of songs with solos....
Im a pilot and have an Osiris to take along but I think I might order one of these up soon. The volume/resonance might not be on the level of a true acoustic but it would alleviate my need (desire) to pack along a mini amp.
I wonder if Kiesel will make an acoustic bass version of this guitar, like they did the AC50F bass (which i bought a nice used one on Guitar Center's online service).
It looks like a very well built instrument. The piezo alone doesn’t seem to do it justice. I know there is an electric version of this that could also be chambered but I think adding to humbuckers to the his configuration will make a beast of a guitar. Maybe an F hole instead of the soundhole.
A Masterpiece, the smartest design i have seen in a long time, as a acoustic player i see the advantages of this guitar, obviously electric players will not.
The only thing I would change is the size of the body, and the 24 fret neck. 20 or 21 is all you will ever use on an acoustic guitar. The 24 fret design is the only reason this body is so small. I believe a slightly larger body will deliver a bolder and more refined useful tone range.
whoever this guy is, I believe he has done clips before but everything he plays is amazing. I dunno if he's improvising or what.... but if he has music I'd love to hear more.
I don't see why true acoustic players would even look at this guitar. If you look at the design you should assume it it made to be amplified. I don't see what the big deal is. I got guys buying $3000-$4000 Martin guitars and getting aftermarket pickups. It drives me crazy and I get paid to do it! Just about everyone amplifies their acoustic now. Love the design. If you don't, there are plenty of traditionally designed acoustic guitars.
Correct. The controls are Volume, Bass, and Treble. There's no built in tuner options. You can definitely use a clip on tuner with this guitar! The tuner just clips onto the locking headpiece. It works great!
The most metal acoustic guitar I've seen

I’m so in love with this strange beast! It will do great with my worship music!

My, you're easily impressed...we also went to the moon if you're not aware of that...
Buckhorn Cortez WHAT?! I'm gonna need to look into that one!
Josh Fairbanks downloadable "tube amps"
I agree completely but you get my drift
Buckhorn Cortez . Thunderbirds are go
This looks and sounds fuggin incredible - Kiesel kills it again! And Brandon, your playing... loooove dat
It’s an A-Zeustic.
It sounds huge although its a shallow body and finally an accoustic guitar with individual saddle for each string like an electric one no more sanding the saddle piece
That's one sexy acoustic!
It sounds so beautiful! Please Jeff Kiesel: make a bass version.
Get the AC40/50 instead.....

Sounds very full. I absolutely adore that warm piezo sound (i think that's what it's called)

This sound is sooo beautiful
I’m surprised how good it sounds.
damn, a headless electric acoustic
looks and sounds fucking amazing
I love it, it sounds awesome! What about the unplugged sound? I would be curious to hear
The first day it was announced, they did a "guitar of the week" video with it unplugged, on Facebook.
Oh yeah! I totally forgot.
I called kiesel they said sounds sort like a semi hollow electric guitar

you could probably string it up with nylon ball end strings and be just fine

The best kind of product demo. Let the product talk. Great job IMO

This came out before fender telecoustic! Wow
I love that last riff

2:19 sounds like something from Life is Strange
It kind of sounds like "Crosses"
I dig it. One of the best playing acoustics I've tried was a traditional Carvin many years back. Wish I would have bought it.

I desperately need this... ❤️
Very cool design. It sounds great and has 24 frets!
Wow amazing acoustic guitar
I really intrigued to see what route you guys now take for acoustics, this is really incredible.
Amazing ,, I love it !!! Question is ,,??? can I tune to DADGAD ??
I like it. Its definitely different from what I have but i like innovation. Keep up the good work.
Lovely playing.
Very Nice !!! Sounds very sweet indeed.
I love this demo!

I'd love to have one of these or the Craig Chacquico model. I love the tones...
Kiesel making acoustic guitars sexy since inception. Love this design! I would love to hear it in person to experience the dynamics of the instrument.
looks and sounds great .
Hi. Thanks for the great guitar and great video. What’s the first song you were playing?
GraphTech, LR baggs or Fishman piezos? Can I put nylon strings? F hole instead of big circle? 7 / 8 strings? Fanned frets?
Sweet sound and look. Very nice indeed. :)
Totally LOVE this guitar. (Marvin)
I wonder if Kiesel will make an acoustic bass version of this guitar, like they did the AC50F bass (which i bought a nice used one on Guitar Center's online service).
I really like how you experiment and try to bring new stuff to the table. Sounds really good! can you do a demo of how it sounds in a room?
Is this guitar available as a multiscale/fanned-fret version?
Arved Bohn yes it is
Excellent!
Looks amazing and I bet it plays amazing. But I honestly hate electro acoustic sound. But I'd imagine its fairly quite just played accousticly ?
Sounds and looks cool! I wonder what this would sound like with effect pedals. I just want to get my hands on one and mess around with it.
Sounds nice, not sure if i could get on with it being headless though. As i said though it does sound nice.
Is there a Classical/Flamenco Zues in the makes and will there be a 7 string varient? That would be amazing!
