Should I do these exercises that you told plz help I look so terrible 😭 I can't go out with this belly 😭💔
Me personally, I started losing the most weight after reading the book Woman’s weight loss secrets: the unspoken truth, a few things you are mentioning in this video are also in the book
I had my first baby 6 months ago. I’m embarrassed to say that I gained 30kg through my pregnancy. I started eating clean and lost a few kilos over the last few weeks then I started lurking RUclips for some workout inspiration when I stumbled on this video. I’ve done these exercises twice a day for the last 4 days and I already feel the difference! I was struggling to do crunches cause I had no core strength and these have given me enough in such a short time, today I did my first 20 minute full body workout and I was able to do the whole thing. Thank you for making a short and realistic goal for mums to start their journey back into their bodies.
The ONLY workouts that helped me after trying so many. However I did this for 2.5 weeks because my abs were spilt about 4 fingers. After 1 week I was so surprised at how much they closed up, so I just kept at it for about 2 weeks. I did these three exercises in addition to standing marches with a 10lbs dumbbell. I did about 20 reps 3 sets. Now my abs are completely closed!!!!! Still can’t believe it!
Even I m having almost 3 finger gap .. doing these exercises for a month 15 reps 2 sets... But I'm not able to find much difference as like you .. am i not doing the exercises properly... Please suggest some tips
After 5 babies and years of severe diastasis recti, this challenge actually worked! To get the best results, I stopped doing any other type of workouts and only did a 15-20m run about 5 times a week while doing this challenge. It's been 2 weeks and I've seen HUGE improvement when nothing else has worked. I did 3 rounds of 10 reps of all 3 moves daily. (After 1 month I will resume other workouts, but I didn't want to do anything that might affect my abdominal area during this challenge.) Thanks so much for this video! 🎉
Hi. What workouts were you doing before? And how long did you do this exercise before going back to running? Im endurance athlete and workout 5-6x a week with some strength training and im still stuck with diastisis recti.
@@lo3497 thats insanely rude. 🙄 There are many large families that don't get help from the state. I have 5 kids, stay at home, and my husband owns a business.
This exercise really works. Been 10 years since i gave birth. I never knew about diastasis recti until i reached this channel 8 days ago. I researched a little more about it and learn about tummy vacuum. I did this exercise while taking into consideration the tummy vacuum
Amazing ..felt burn in lower abs ...i did it for regular 10 days n can feel change now ...its tightening my belly area...wonderful..i had one finger DR tht i could be able to know after 4 yrs of my c-section ...but i followed ur exercise just after knowing it could be reversible. thanks a lot dear..god bless u❤
I have been doing this for about two weeks almost everyday and today when I sneezed I was expecting a leak like usual but none! I’m impressed and will continue.
For those who came to know abt results, this is for you. All those exercises are really effective... I am doing it for past 2 weeks... At first i had almost 2 finger gap and now it's only half finger gap. So I'd definitely recommend this exercise. For those who are in dilema, you can definitely try...
I’ve been doing these exercises for over a month and I’ve noticed the results after about four weeks of doing them. I started to do three sets of each exercise before then every two days. Then, my stomach’s diastasis recti started to fade. My stomach looked almost back to normal in shape. The deep ridge below my belly button is no longer a ridge. The muscles have come together so that it is barely indented. It looks pretty good now. The look of clothing on me drastically improved, too. Moreover, the skin on my belly looks like it has tightened because the muscles have tightened and come together. So, the skin no longer can move like Jell-O. (Ladies, this did not come as a result of some skincare product: just from these exercises.) I’m in the process of getting my former body back. It’s almost there. I’m so excited and happy with it! God is so good! God bless you!
It was a finger and a half of a gap before I started to faithfully do these exercises. God is good! God bless you all of you guys who responded to my review in faith. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews)@@gunaselvij762
I’m doing this exercise now for 2 days and I’m feeling better, I can already see a difference and I’m going to be doing this for 30 days. The toe taps are so effective, thank you
I just had my fifth child. After my I noticed that my belly was not the same. After this pregnancy my belly button was so puffed that I was imagining going to surgery for umbilical hernia. I did this challenge and it's hard to believe my belly is back to its shape. It's hard to believe!!! Thank you for your job!
I am glad to be seeing so many videos for these exercises. I can't even tell how bad it is until I lose some of the extra weight from my son. So I have started walking again, and doing basic yoga stretches, and playing just dance again. But I want to mix these in as well so it can be working in tandem as I move towards getting back on track. Thank you for these simple exercises.❤
Thank you so much. I am doing these exercises for a month actually. I had a severe backpain, now it decreased alhamdulillah. These exercises r really simple, yet effective. How I know my diastasis is treated, I wanna add some other exercises to lose the weight. By the way, diastasis became Severe cuz of inappropriate exercises ; Sit and stand, rounding the body ... Be careful to do exercises after delivery. Thx for reading.😃
I’m a 62 year old gramma with a 13-baby “mummy -tummy” still leftover! Hypopressives have definitely reduced my D.R. From 4 fingers to two; with the upper and lower portions completely “zipped shut” now. But my overall core still needs some gentle work to help protect my back, as well as “zip up” that remaining center D.R. portion... gonna give this a whirl and I’ll keep you posted!
Kristin thank you for sharing my youngest is 25 and I’ve been searching the comments to see if these exercises will work for me too! I’m excited to get started.
Love these exercises! Only issue is you don’t mention your breath. When do we inhale and when do we exhale? I know that’s a very important part of healing. Thanks!
My pelvic therapist said always exhale while doing the most strenuous motions. So if you feel pressure or like it's strenuous while your legs are going down, then exhale while your legs are going down.
I am going to start my seven day challenge today and I will be back with an update… I have had such a hard time with my lower stomach and I really do believe that I have DR
Oh I'm so glad you found it and enjoy it!! There's more coming xox. I have another exercise video on diastasis as well here : ruclips.net/video/Hxhb5E-gl6w/видео.html Please let me know your progress xox.
I've had 3 babies in 4 years. My DR started after my 2nd. I'm 9 months post partum now and going to try this 7 day challenge. I measured my waist today and it was 35.5 in. Will keep posted in 1 week
So I just did it for the first time.. during the exercise I didn’t feel any burning but afterwards I can definitely feel it! Hoping to see great results! Thanks for this video!
Thank you sooo muuuch. i've done this for 7 days and it works! my diastasis recti is now 2 fingers from 4 fingers distance. and i'll keep doing it for sureee
I'm back here after 3 years! This worked for me after my first delivery and I'm waiting eagerly for my 2nd to complete a month before I do these exercises again. Last time I started exercising 2 weeks after my son was born and that was too early as my stitches opened up. So this time I'm going to start later. But trust me it's effective. I got to a flat tummy in 7months ofcourse after a month of o my these exercises I added to my workout Squats mountain climbers jumping planks among other home exercises. I didn't diet as such but I did follow portion control and I ate 5/6 small meals through the day instead of just 3.
@@kristinrisper1523 yes! My 2nd is 7months now and my pouch is gone. My skin is still loose around the belly button though...not sure what to do about that

I have been pretty consistent doing these exercises along with 3 of her other videos and at first I had a 2 finger gap at the top, 3 in the middle, and 2 at the bottom. I am now at 1 finger top, 2 1/2 middle, and 1 1/2 bottom 😭🙏🏼 thank you so much!!!!
@@reshmafarheen7636 you’ll have to ask your doctor. Usually after vaginal birth you get the clear at 6 weeks postpartum. Not sure what it is for c-section.

Thanks a lot for the video. Am 1 year postpartum and did a c-section. It has been hard trying to exercise without getting minor pains. Praying that this one works🙏

@@BodiesAfterBabies Is there any specific reason why we are not told about this? I have been complaining in multiple doctor's appointments about the bulge and lower back pain and serious pelvic pain, plus urinary issues for the past 8 years. Why doesn't anyone ever talk about this and why did the doctor's never tell me after 8 years of suffering and complaining???
@@volkzy__ I'm actually six days overdue with my first child and waiting to deliver my baby. I'm trying to avoid and induction. When it comes to these issues, personal interest in anything relating to pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum recovery plays a huge factor in the way we approach the journey to motherhood. To defend yourself from medical omissions, negligence and obstetric violence you need to inform and educate yourself as much as possible so that you can make informed decisions about the type of care you receive. Please, allow me to explain: doctors in general WON'T go into detail about the risks of vaginal delivery and after birth consequences to more easily dissuade a woman from requesting a C-section. No matter how much you can pay a private gynecologist, even he or she will try to dissuade you from requesting a C-section and this is due to a 20 year campaign to reduce the rate of C-sections throughout Europe (I live in Europe, Italy and you have to have a certified risky pregnancy, a breech bay, a very difficult labor where your life is at risk, or threaten them to call the police while laboring to get one - this is no joke, I actually know someone who did it. Otherwise, people just go to a private clinic to have an elective C-section with no objections). The result of this policy is that medical practitioners will omit dramatic facts regarding gynaecological injuries sustained during vaginal delivery like third degree lacerations, perineal injuries, vaginal prolapse and both urinary and fecal incontinence. The pre-partum courses are mainly focused on the delivery and very little information is given relating to pelvic floor and perineal injuries; they talk about "engaging and exercising your pelvic muscle" but say nothing about the damage a protracted labour can and will do to a first time mother. To know about these dramatic facts I had to meet someone permanently damaged by vaginal delivery so that I decided to inform myself about anything related to obstetric violence (is the mistreatment of women during childbirth in the form(s) of neglect, physical abuse and/or lack of respect). When it comes to diastasis recti, I also met someone who has it and is the result of not being properly informed about the methods to avoid it during and after pregnancy. She changed gynecologist for her second pregnancy and even had to endure being told off by the new one because "her belly was way bigger than the size of the baby she was carrying due to her neglecting her diastasis recti", how was she supposed to know if she had never been informed about it? She didn't even know it was a medical condition. Unfortunately, it is up TO US to inform ourselves before each medical appointment so that we can ask pertinent questions regarding the care we are receiving up to that point and the next course of action in the next appointments. for example: in Italy, as soon as your pregnancy is confirmed by the gynecologist of your choice he/she will give you a "pregnancy book" an schedule where all the tests and pre-partum examinations are indicated following the weekly progress of your pregnancy. Your gynecologist, on every appointment, will underline the next tests to have and explain generally what the next appointment will be about (ideally, should be like this). In my personal case, I decided to do research regarding ever test prescribed at each appointment so that I was prepared and asked important questions to protect both my baby and myself. Even the women we love in our lives are failing the younger generations by romanticizing childbirth even though they themselves had traumatic experiences. The general stance in Italy is "if you say such things even less children will be born in this country (birth rate in Italy is at the Lowest ever). There's no need to scare people". This helps no one.

Do you mean my stomach measurement? Yes I checked it is 40 inch 😐 I found 2nd exercise is tough for me. 1st two days I only can take 2rounds(all 3 exercise each one 10times is one round). Shall I increase that?
I'm currently 5 months postpartum... and I feel like in putting on loads more weight on top of my baby weight. I'm a lone parent so I find it hard to find time to excersise. But now we are back in lockdown here in Scotland I think I'm gonna take this opportunity to lose some weight and tone up. I was a size 6 or 8 before I had my daughter, I'm now a size 16. I'm hoping that by this summer I can drop down to a 12, or hopefully a 10 but that is wishful thinking! I'm nervous.. I have never been one for excersise anyway so this will be a challenge for sure . . . Wish me luck! Sending my love to you all through this difficult time x
Good luck..hope you're getting on ok? I'm 8 months postpartum and finding it so tough for motivation because of lockdown and not being able to get out with anyone to do anything.
I’m almost 2 years post partum from my last baby (baby #3) and was asked today if I have another on the way. The timing of me seeing this video couldn’t be more perfect. Looks like I’ll be starting this first thing tomorrow. I love that it’s so simple. Not to say easy. I just mean easy to follow
@@kindrayoung3835 to be completely honest, I never kept up with it. I often struggle quite a bit with motivation and drive to do much more than just what’s required around the house. When I do get time to myself where I might be able to do some of these exercises, I usually end up spending that time sitting down and scrolling my phone. It’s terrible and I wish I could tell you something different but it’s just where I’m at right now. I’m sorry I couldn’t offer you any encouragement on this one

I've been struggling so hard with weight loss and i think it's due to this problem!! I had 3 kids and they stretched my tummy right out lol definitely loving this channel! Gonna start my journey this week!
Just completed the second day. I woke up feeling sore. I did about 25 of each of these exercises yesterday two times as well as a two mile walk. When I do exercises like this I feel it working on my belly. I have had two large babies in the past 4 years my youngest is six months old. It's never to late to start. I have been doing a lifestyle change so I am adding these easy workouts to help with my main issue (my belly). I feel my muscles more today. These are easy enough to do multiple times a day. If you just had your baby, give yourself some grace. It is so hard to start working out and doing these with no muscles at all. When I first tried these months ago I couldn't do it because of intense lower back pain. I couldn't lay flat on my back. It's still painful if I lay flat on my back for long but so much better now. I have a three finger gap with my diastasis recti as of today. I know it was much worse months ago. So bad I couldn't feel how big. I hope this helps gain muscle in my "abs" and strengthen my lower back and bring my low hanging belly up and in. I have been eating better too. Lost 17lbs in 2.5 months and slowly adding in exercises as I keep going. Ladies just do what you can. Try. This is something you can do for yourself... Only a few minutes out of the day and it's worth you setting aside 5 minutes for your strength and health. I will do these for 7 days and more. Will update when I am done with the week. Best wishes to all mom's, you can achieve your goals. ❤
Just completed my third day of these workouts this morning. Wasn't sore this morning but It was more difficult today to complete 25 of each. I completed these three times yesterday as well as added in some glute exercises yesterday and may have done a little too much. I will still do them at least once more tonight. The most important thing is to breathe through these and keep your bellybutton in and feel the muscles as you do this. I realized I had to also keep my lower back from arching and keeping it flat to the ground. Hope everyone is staying consistent because that is key!
My youngest is also 6 months old I thought i was too late to start..but your comment has inspired me to go about it again.. I will be starting from today 😊
@@tseringchemiyeaton3581 Congratulations on your baby! Aww I am so happy that you are doing this for yourself! Yes I just finished my 7th day yesterday. It was a struggle the last 3 days because of my back pain. If I didn't have such a weak lower back I think this would have been so easy. I plan to keep these exercises in my routine just not two or three times a day and I will find the best lower back strengthening exercises to help with my issues. I am happy to report and I can't believe I am saying this but my three finger gap is a 1 1/2 finger gap in the worst spot. My core feels stronger and I feel like if I try these for another week maybe I will be able to safely add in workouts for my belly without making the diastasis recti worse. Push through the tough minutes if it's hard for you. Stick to 7 days. You will be happy you did. I am. Also, I never did this for myself after my first son because these exercises were harder for me than others but these are the only type that will actually help close the gap. Glad I found this video that didn't seem as intimidating to try as others. Thank you to the woman who made it.

5 weeks post partum and also have a 2 year old. Its difficult to get anything done at all but I did this today and hope to be able to do it the next 6 days. Day 1: Did all sets, feel it mostly with the toe touches. Not sure if I'm doing the first exercise correctly, though it is so simple.
Hi I can't thank you enough!!! So even after 4 months of delivery I was looking atleast 5 months pregnant and my tummy was kind of stiff. While searching on Google I came to know that there's something called as Diastasis Recti which I have and didn't know what it was. I found your video and did exercises everyday for 2 weeks and my mommy tummy has gone completely!!! I was never had flat tummy but I can say my tummy has come to its original shape like it was before pregnancy. Thanks a ton 😊 It's my third week, I am continuing your exercises. Can you please let me know when can I start other exercises like plank and squats for overall weight reduction or should I wait for more days.
I just did this- I am 6 years post partum and have always struggled with my Mommy belly! Lost 80 pounds but the belly was still there.. the first exercise was pretty easy, but I started to feel it towards the 10th rep.. for anyone wondering, I made sure I squeezed every thing in when I was doing these exercises- make sure your belly button is pulled in and your abs are contracted. The toe tap was HARD! I did an exercise after my first c-section that kind of worked but I was probably doing it completely wrong! I would lay down, put my legs out, not touching the floor and then pull my knees in,and repeat like however many times I could! This felt like I was doing that exercise or doing a plank, I had the shakes 🤣 The bridge was pretty easy, I could feel it working though! This is interesting, I'll have to see if it'll heal what I have going on. I don't know how much of a gap I have.. but it's like no matter how much weight I lose, I still have my belly going on! Forget it if I gain weight, people will ask if I'm expecting!
Thank you so much. Didn’t know where to start. I have three children. Last child is 13 years of age. I have almost three finger gap above my belly button. The gap never closed I’m having tummy trouble daily. Hoping to close the gap and for it to get better so I don’t need surgery. I’m starting to get stressed and little worried.
so glad i found u im embarrassed coz i didnt know bout diatistis recti so long just found out i have 2 kids one is 21 and the other 14 im 47 years is it too late to start i was doing planks and reverse crunches and stuff like that can you please clear my doubt I've stopped every thing else now doing your videos plus upper body Thanks love the patience u show while explanating very beautiful
After trying all the different exercises I found on RUclips, I can say this one definitely helps. Just tried it for 1day and I already can feel my diastasis recti tummy shrink a little. Will keep doing it for a month. Thank you for making this video!

I just want to say that I love that I found this video! It is very appreciated and I’m so excited to finally see some results and hopefully get some relief from back pain. Things like this are wonderful for moms because I feel like the recovery process after giving birth is what no one actually tells you about or prepares you for but it can be so difficult, in numerous ways! I was also wondering though, once you start to see a difference with the Diastasis Recti, what is the best next step to toning your body? Like are there any other certain exercises or anything? I’m just clueless because I didn’t even really know about Diastasis Recti until doing research about recovery after giving birth so I also had no idea that it wasn’t good to do crunches and things like that and now I’m just trying to make sure I do everything the right way.

After 5 babies and years of severe diastasis recti, this challenge actually worked! To get the best results, I stopped doing any other type of workouts and only did a 15-20m run about 5 times a week while doing this challenge. How soon did you start after giving birth?
Didn't understand what u mean by finger gap
God bless you!
that's a great review. I'm starting this tomorrow.
God bless you!@@Ryoko007
I absolutely love your positive review. I am starting tomorrow.
How much gap you were having earlier
It was a finger and a half of a gap before I started to faithfully do these exercises. God is good! God bless you all of you guys who responded to my review in faith. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews)@@gunaselvij762

I was feeling my Tommy vibrate during the toe-tap...very effective
It’d be great if you demonstrate for us how to engage the abdomen and how to breathe through these exercises.
Please. Help with this👆
Totally agree
I just had my fifth child. After my I noticed that my belly was not the same. After this pregnancy my belly button was so puffed that I was imagining going to surgery for umbilical hernia.
I did this challenge and it's hard to believe my belly is back to its shape. It's hard to believe!!!

Today is the start of my Day 1 of 7 days challenge. I think I will keep doing it even after 7 days, my DR Is bad 🙄
Thank you so much for sharing this!

Thanks for your helpful comment
Could you please suggest tips which part I need to concentrate on while doing this exercises? How to contract my abs?

Same here ,how did it go ?
Thanks for sharing...I av just started this morning.... Pretty confident I will come back to thank u in d next 7 days by God's grace ... Bless u sis

Hi purva can u tell me how many times in a day u doing this excercises? I too wanted to start..
Hi what about breathing do we keep our belly button in all time or normal breathing?
Hey, so how is is going now? Did you continue these exercises? And did they work out well for you? Is your belly flatter, and is the DR gone? :)
Thank you so much. Didn’t know where to start. I have three children. Last child is 13 years of age. I have almost three finger gap above my belly button. After trying all the different exercises I found on RUclips, I can say this one definitely helps. Just tried it for 1day and I already can feel my diastasis recti tummy shrink a little. Will keep doing it for a month. Thank you for making this video!

Don't do plank, crunches or sit up. I heard it makes it worse. Good luck

Hi! Can you please tell how is your evolution. Did it go well?
I’m 2 months postpartum and giving this a try. I will come back in 7 days and give my results 🤞🏿
would love to hear ur result
So far I haven’t missed a day. I don’t know if I see a difference just yet but I still have 4 more days
Waiting for your results
How did it go?!
😞 I didn’t finish. I didn’t really feel like anything was happening but then again I didn’t officially take any measurements or anything. I think I’m going to try again. If I do I will update.
I truly appreciate you making this video easy to follow🙏🏿
Stop it!!! I never knew you had this channel! I know you from true crime and I will be trying these exercises this week! I am loving how versatile you are!
