    The ONLY workouts that helped me after trying so many. However I did this for 2.5 weeks because my abs were spilt about 4 fingers. After 1 week I was so surprised at how much they closed up, so I just kept at it for about 2 weeks. I did these three exercises in addition to standing marches with a 10lbs dumbbell. I did about 20 reps 3 sets. Now my abs are completely closed!!!!! Still can’t believe it!

    After 5 babies and years of severe diastasis recti, this challenge actually worked! To get the best results, I stopped doing any other type of workouts and only did a 15-20m run about 5 times a week while doing this challenge. It's been 2 weeks and I've seen HUGE improvement when nothing else has worked. I did 3 rounds of 10 reps of all 3 moves daily. (After 1 month I will resume other workouts, but I didn't want to do anything that might affect my abdominal area during this challenge.) Thanks so much for this video! 🎉

    I had my first baby 6 months ago.
    I’m embarrassed to say that I gained 30kg through my pregnancy.
    I started eating clean and lost a few kilos over the last few weeks then I started lurking RUclips for some workout inspiration when I stumbled on this video.
    I’ve done these exercises twice a day for the last 4 days and I already feel the difference! I was struggling to do crunches cause I had no core strength and these have given me enough in such a short time, today I did my first 20 minute full body workout and I was able to do the whole thing.

    I’ve been doing these exercises for over a month and I’ve noticed the results after about four weeks of doing them. I started to do three sets of each exercise before then every two days. Then, my stomach’s diastasis recti started to fade. My stomach looked almost back to normal in shape. The deep ridge below my belly button is no longer a ridge. The muscles have come together so that it is barely indented. It looks pretty good now. The look of clothing on me drastically improved, too. Moreover, the skin on my belly looks like it has tightened because the muscles have tightened and come together. So, the skin no longer can move like Jell-O. (Ladies, this did not come as a result of some skincare product: just from these exercises.) I’m in the process of getting my former body back. It’s almost there. I’m so excited and happy with it! God is so good! God bless you!

I got to a flat tummy in 7months ofcourse after a month of o my these exercises I added to my workout Squats mountain climbers jumping planks among other home exercises. I didn't diet as such but I did follow portion control and I ate 5/6 small meals through the day instead of just 3.

    I'm 6 months postpartum with my 2nd baby and I only wish I would've fixed my DR after my first baby. Thank you for this video. You're right! Most women don't know about diastasis recti. I wonder why doctors don't say anything.

    • @BodiesAfterBabies
      @BodiesAfterBabies  5 лет назад +6

      It's so puzzling why doctors don't discuss this with women. I've had so many conversations and most women said that they had no idea for years and never even knew what DR was. It should be mandatory! There are so many women suffering physically AND emotionally from it when for most can be a simple solution (some it's more serious but at least they would know what to look for right away!) Thanks for stopping by :)

      I suggest researching the business of being born theres a lot doctors dont tell women about giving birth and it boils down to pregnancy being treated like an illness and women not being respected enough throughout the process in my opinion. Theres so much research on a lot of issues women have after and during birth that doctors dont share and it's really perplexing.

    Mommies, these exercises really work! I'm 40 and even after 2 normal deliveries, i had a slight paunch. Today is just day 2 for me, and my tummy has really tightened. I never knew i had a gap! My upper waist is 24inches, but because of my mommy pouch, the lower waist was 28 inches. I measured my lower waist today, and it's gone in by an inch in just 2 days. I tried a 48-hour dry fast to tightened my tummy, various herbal teas, ACV, but nothing worked to tighten up my paunch. These 3 simple exercises just take few minutes and are super effective. I only hope that i don't get my mommy pouch back if I stop doing these exercises! :)
    So today is the 4th day, and I've never seen my lower tummy this flat before! Lower waist is still 27inches, but feels flatter. I lost some from my thighs too. Almost half inch. Not bad in just 4 days!

    I just did this- I am 6 years post partum and have always struggled with my Mommy belly! Lost 80 pounds but the belly was still there.. the first exercise was pretty easy, but I started to feel it towards the 10th rep.. for anyone wondering, I made sure I squeezed every thing in when I was doing these exercises- make sure your belly button is pulled in and your abs are contracted. The toe tap was HARD! I did an exercise after my first c-section that kind of worked but I was probably doing it completely wrong! I would lay down, put my legs out, not touching the floor and then pull my knees in,and repeat like however many times I could! This felt like I was doing that exercise or doing a plank, I had the shakes 🤣 The bridge was pretty easy, I could feel it working though! This is interesting, I'll have to see if it'll heal what I have going on. I don't know how much of a gap I have.. but it's like no matter how much weight I lose, I still have my belly going on! Forget it if I gain weight, people will ask if I'm expecting!

    Just completed the second day. I woke up feeling sore. I did about 25 of each of these exercises yesterday two times as well as a two mile walk. When I do exercises like this I feel it working on my belly. I have had two large babies in the past 4 years my youngest is six months old. It's never to late to start. I have been doing a lifestyle change so I am adding these easy workouts to help with my main issue (my belly). I feel my muscles more today. These are easy enough to do multiple times a day. If you just had your baby, give yourself some grace. It is so hard to start working out and doing these with no muscles at all. When I first tried these months ago I couldn't do it because of intense lower back pain. I couldn't lay flat on my back. It's still painful if I lay flat on my back for long but so much better now. I have a three finger gap with my diastasis recti as of today. I know it was much worse months ago. So bad I couldn't feel how big. I hope this helps gain muscle in my "abs" and strengthen my lower back and bring my low hanging belly up and in. I have been eating better too. Lost 17lbs in 2.5 months and slowly adding in exercises as I keep going. Ladies just do what you can. Try. This is something you can do for yourself... Only a few minutes out of the day and it's worth you setting aside 5 minutes for your strength and health. I will do these for 7 days and more. Will update when I am done with the week. Best wishes to all mom's, you can achieve your goals. ❤

    • @tina22tina
      @tina22tina Год назад

      Just completed my third day of these workouts this morning. Wasn't sore this morning but It was more difficult today to complete 25 of each. I completed these three times yesterday as well as added in some glute exercises yesterday and may have done a little too much. I will still do them at least once more tonight. The most important thing is to breathe through these and keep your bellybutton in and feel the muscles as you do this. I realized I had to also keep my lower back from arching and keeping it flat to the ground. Hope everyone is staying consistent because that is key!

      @@tseringchemiyeaton3581 Congratulations on your baby! Aww I am so happy that you are doing this for yourself! Yes I just finished my 7th day yesterday. It was a struggle the last 3 days because of my back pain. If I didn't have such a weak lower back I think this would have been so easy. I plan to keep these exercises in my routine just not two or three times a day and I will find the best lower back strengthening exercises to help with my issues. I am happy to report and I can't believe I am saying this but my three finger gap is a 1 1/2 finger gap in the worst spot. My core feels stronger and I feel like if I try these for another week maybe I will be able to safely add in workouts for my belly without making the diastasis recti worse. Push through the tough minutes if it's hard for you. Stick to 7 days. You will be happy you did. I am. Also, I never did this for myself after my first son because these exercises were harder for me than others but these are the only type that will actually help close the gap. Glad I found this video that didn't seem as intimidating to try as others. Thank you to the woman who made it.

    Hello..
    Now my baby is 4months old.. I have seen this video today and Iam taking 7day challenge. No cheating myself.. I will tell you the result after 7days.
    If it results less I won't feel bad n I won't stop until I get fit n come back to normal.
    Thankyou

      Do you mean my stomach measurement?
      Yes I checked it is 40 inch 😐
      I found 2nd exercise is tough for me. 1st two days I only can take 2rounds(all 3 exercise each one 10times is one round).
      Shall I increase that?

    I got pregnant with twins when I was 20. I started out at ~150lbs and before I had them I was 220lbs. I am now 22 years old and still 220lbs. (14 months pp) I had a c-section and I hate how I feel. I don’t like how I look at all. It’s causing me to have major depression. I am getting married in a year, so hopefully doing this will help me feel beautiful on my wedding day 😓

      @volkzy__ 4 года назад +3

      @@BodiesAfterBabies Is there any specific reason why we are not told about this? I have been complaining in multiple doctor's appointments about the bulge and lower back pain and serious pelvic pain, plus urinary issues for the past 8 years.
      Why doesn't anyone ever talk about this and why did the doctor's never tell me after 8 years of suffering and complaining???

    • @Microcytic
      @Microcytic 3 года назад +3

      @@volkzy__ I'm actually six days overdue with my first child and waiting to deliver my baby. I'm trying to avoid and induction.
      When it comes to these issues, personal interest in anything relating to pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum recovery plays a huge factor in the way we approach the journey to motherhood.
      To defend yourself from medical omissions, negligence and obstetric violence you need to inform and educate yourself as much as possible so that you can make informed decisions about the type of care you receive.
      Please, allow me to explain: doctors in general WON'T go into detail about the risks of vaginal delivery and after birth consequences to more easily dissuade a woman from requesting a C-section.
      No matter how much you can pay a private gynecologist, even he or she will try to dissuade you from requesting a C-section and this is due to a 20 year campaign to reduce the rate of C-sections throughout Europe (I live in Europe, Italy and you have to have a certified risky pregnancy, a breech bay, a very difficult labor where your life is at risk, or threaten them to call the police while laboring to get one - this is no joke, I actually know someone who did it. Otherwise, people just go to a private clinic to have an elective C-section with no objections).
      The result of this policy is that medical practitioners will omit dramatic facts regarding gynaecological injuries sustained during vaginal delivery like third degree lacerations, perineal injuries, vaginal prolapse and both urinary and fecal incontinence. The pre-partum courses are mainly focused on the delivery and very little information is given relating to pelvic floor and perineal injuries; they talk about "engaging and exercising your pelvic muscle" but say nothing about the damage a protracted labour can and will do to a first time mother.
      To know about these dramatic facts I had to meet someone permanently damaged by vaginal delivery so that I decided to inform myself about anything related to obstetric violence (is the mistreatment of women during childbirth in the form(s) of neglect, physical abuse and/or lack of respect).
      When it comes to diastasis recti, I also met someone who has it and is the result of not being properly informed about the methods to avoid it during and after pregnancy. She changed gynecologist for her second pregnancy and even had to endure being told off by the new one because "her belly was way bigger than the size of the baby she was carrying due to her neglecting her diastasis recti", how was she supposed to know if she had never been informed about it? She didn't even know it was a medical condition.
      Unfortunately, it is up TO US to inform ourselves before each medical appointment so that we can ask pertinent questions regarding the care we are receiving up to that point and the next course of action in the next appointments. for example: in Italy, as soon as your pregnancy is confirmed by the gynecologist of your choice he/she will give you a "pregnancy book" an schedule where all the tests and pre-partum examinations are indicated following the weekly progress of your pregnancy. Your gynecologist, on every appointment, will underline the next tests to have and explain generally what the next appointment will be about (ideally, should be like this). In my personal case, I decided to do research regarding ever test prescribed at each appointment so that I was prepared and asked important questions to protect both my baby and myself.
      Even the women we love in our lives are failing the younger generations by romanticizing childbirth even though they themselves had traumatic experiences.
      The general stance in Italy is "if you say such things even less children will be born in this country (birth rate in Italy is at the Lowest ever). There's no need to scare people".
      This helps no one.

    I just want to say that I love that I found this video! It is very appreciated and I’m so excited to finally see some results and hopefully get some relief from back pain. Things like this are wonderful for moms because I feel like the recovery process after giving birth is what no one actually tells you about or prepares you for but it can be so difficult, in numerous ways! I was also wondering though, once you start to see a difference with the Diastasis Recti, what is the best next step to toning your body? Like are there any other certain exercises or anything? I’m just clueless because I didn’t even really know about Diastasis Recti until doing research about recovery after giving birth so I also had no idea that it wasn’t good to do crunches and things like that and now I’m just trying to make sure I do everything the right way.
