I am 8 months post c section and I hate how my belly looks and yes I know I carried a beautiful blessing but I miss my old body and I don’t even fit in most of my cute clothes anymore. I get so insecure I sometimes sit and cry while looking at my self in the mirror. And thankfully to my supportive husband he helped me buy some healthy foods and veggies to make here at home and get really motivated to work on my self. Any tips?
Hey there @Angie Marie 😍, Firstly thank you for checking out my channel and for sharing how you feel with me and the community here. That takes courage ❤. The other thing is that many, many women feel the same as you, so please know you are not alone. Pregnancy, giving birth and then becoming a mum/mom is a really big deal and it takes a while to recover. Considering the fact that it takes at least 9 months to recover from knee surgery and many appointments with a physiotherapist and rehab exercises, then a c-section is the same. It is major surgery coupled with the fact you often cannot 'feel' the muscles again or relate to them again. The fact you've started healthy eating is a great step to help not only feel better, more energised and happier but also with helping lose any baby weight if you have that. To tone and strengthen the muscles again does take time, knowing which exercises to do and making plan. If you'd like some help, why not book a call with me? You can do that here at a time to suit you: calendly.com/bumpandbeyond/prepare-your-body-for-birth-the-best-way-discovery-call
@@angiemarie8582 I recommend 4 times a week for 4 weeks minimum. Results are completely individual and vary depending on a number of factors including 1) Whether you have any abdominal fat covering your abdominals, 2) Your core strength and whether you did any core strength or ab. exercises during and prior to pregnancy 3) Your mind and body's ability to process the breathing technique and activate your core, which takes time. 4) Your nutrition; how healthy is your diet? Please be patient, this will not be a quick process, you were pregnant for 9 months and then had major abdominal surgery with adhesion scarring, There is no quick fix. You should instead enjoy doing these exercises, thinking of them as rehab. and body care which is essential to your well being. Thank you and best of luck. Let us all know how you do.

I’ve been doing this for about 3 weeks now (3 years since my last c-section) and I’ve lost around 1 inch off my tummy. The improvements are small but I am feeling my abdominal muscles for the first time in years and that is HUGE. I’d definitely give these exercises a try.

Hi, I need some advice, please. It has been 2 years after my c section, every time I tried to do very light workouts I felt like I had the c section pains all over again and that was after I waited 8 months. I waited a while to exercise and started to try again now that I am 2 years postpartum and I can't do the exercises in this video, it hurts too much. Is the pain normal, should I push through the pain till it doesn't hurt anymore? Sorry for asking in the comments, I really love this exercise routine and would love to do it in the near future again.
Hello Cherise, thank you for asking this question. To try to answer your questions, I need some more information. 1) where exactly are you feeling pain 2) what exercise do you feel the pain, is it exercises such as these? 3) are you doing any other forms of exercise, other than the exercises here and if so what? 4) have you any past injury? 5) did you do these types of exercises on this video prior to pregnancy? 6) do you have diastasis recti or know what this is?
hi maam,I am 2 yrs of c-section .i doing a exercise 2 weeks ago...is it normal to get pain in a abdomenal area while doing exercise? please reply.. from philippines..
Hi. Thank you very much for ur video. Really felt good. Movements were well explained but I couldn't get the breathing in and breathing out positions. I mean couldn't understand when to breath on and breath out while doing the movements. Hope a reply from u. 🌹🌹🌹
Thanks for ur ❤️❤️❤️❤️☺️☺️ I've been doing this exercise for 3 days but today I didn't do bcz I was not sure whether I'd been doing the breathing in and out properly. Could u plz help. 🥰🥰
I don’t know if I just breath slowly or something, but if I breath in this rhythm I totally hyperventilate. Is it still effective if I breath normally?
Hey @Chloe A, 🙏 thank you for checking out my video! I recommend doing this 3 (minimum) and 4 ideally times a week. Ideally on non-consecutive days. You will need to be consistent with this frequency for 4 weeks to see a difference. Of course, the 'difference' varies for everyone and is also based on the other factors; what daily movement /activity you are doing which should be at least 30 minutes a day of walking plus strength training exercises for the whole body. Plus eating unprocessed, whole foods which are lean sources of protein and plenty of vegetables at each meal.
I had twice CS , now 7 months and 3weeks I started to do this taekwondo class I’m worried about my CS SITE. Pls help me to answer when it’s safe to do heavy exercises
Hi mam I am 7 month post c section and I did this excercise today and when I squeeze my tummy in and do normal breathing I feel in my upper back Am I doing this wrong ?
Thank you for following the video Sushmitha. This question is difficult for me to answer as I have no information as to whether you have done these types of exercises before or how you are connecting to the muscles. I would need to assess you on a personal basis as our abdominals have been stretched and weakened after pregnancy and birth and after a c section there is even more lack of connection. I would recommend you seek help and search out a local physiotherapist or women's health physiotherapist to have your posture and alignment checked if you are feeling pain in your upper back as this may be a result of pregnancy. Please also avoid "squeezing your tummy in" as the video doesn't instruct that; rather aim to bring your navel back as if a piece of string is pulling it back towards your spine. When you do this, exhale. Then relax the tummy muscles on the inhale. It may be that you are trying to suck in or squeeze the tummy so much that your upper back rounds or hunches causing tension in that area. Try doing the particular exercise where you feel this sideways to a mirror so you can see yourself in the mirror and make adjustments by relaxing the shoulders and keeping them on the floor.
Hii Vicky , you teach very well but how to create action of scooping up and down the abdomen it's difficult for me?.can these exercises work on c section 7 year ago?

Good job. Pls can I have like a dialy assignment of the specific task to be carried out, or am I to undertake all of them daily? And for how long pls?
@@BumpandBeyond thank you so much I am just questioning if I should do this work out every day? Until I see results or? Lol I’m new at this sorry.

Any results from anyone who waited years to do this? I had 3 c-sections 8,6and 3 years so hoping this works!
I’ve been doing this for about 3 weeks now (3 years since my last c-section) and I’ve lost around 1 inch off my tummy. The improvements are small but I am feeling my abdominal muscles for the first time in years and that is HUGE. I’d definitely give these exercises a try.

Sorry for my slow response Vony, but thank you for watching my video and I trust you continue to enjoy it and be consistent!
I'm really happy I found your video. I am 9 months post c-section, my second one, and I have always been a bit over weight. Decided that this time I would do things differently and would actually focus on me and find the time to help myself feels better. I'm looking to strengthening my lower belly but also everything else, and I need to loose weight also. I'm gonna be doing this to start about 4 times a week, but for how long until I can start new exercises? When do I know that I can start introducing other kinds of exercises?
@Vaneesa Silva - I'm SO happy you are here, and you are taking the time to strengthen and care for yourself so you can care for your baby and other child! Thank you 🙏. Following this video 4 times a week for at least 4 weeks will help strengthen your lower abdominals. As you'd like to lose weight I'd like to recommend some of my other videos for you, on this channel, which you can start now, combined with this one, with the aim to help lose weight and boost your metabolism after pregnancy and in your first 12 months after having a baby.
Postnatal Workout for Weight Loss and Tone (20 minutes) 20.Minute Shape Up: ruclips.net/video/xvWjkalaGFg/видео.html
Do this one a minimum of twice a week, 4 times would be good. You'll enjoy this one with me, it's fun!
Be sure to walk every day as daily activity, a good pace for 30 minutes and for mental well-being. This is the amount of daily activity everyone should be doing to function in everyday life, recommended by The American College of Obstetricians and The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (UK)
Lastly eat plenty of vegetables and lean meat (chicken, turkey) or plant based sources of protein to improve muscle tone after a c section.
Come back here and let me know how you are doing.

I had a c section 4 months back. Is it safe to do these exercise
I had my surgery almost 4 years ago… will this still help me?
Hey!!! From when after postpartum we can start doing these exercises?

hi maam,I am 2 yrs of c-section .i doing a exercise 2 weeks ago...is it normal to get pain in a abdomenal area while doing exercise? please reply.. from philippines..
Initially it is painful but with time it gets better. Its because your abdominal muscles are not used to of any stress. Its normal. Dont worry

After which month this excercise should be started
How many months do I have to do this type of exercises to reduce belly fat
Hey! I have been doing this toning workout and have loved it! How often do you recommend we do it a week? I am 7.5 months post c section.
Am frm Kerala . Can I start this after 55 days of c- sction?!
Is it late to do these exercise after 9 month of c-section?
Not too late no, just be sure you have clearance to exercise from your GP or doctor. Enjoy!
Hi mam I am 7 month post c section and I did this excercise today and when I squeeze my tummy in and do normal breathing I feel in my upper back
Am I doing this wrong ?
When can I start exactly after having a c-section please 🙏
Can I do this even after 15 yeras of C section?
Is it okay for 2 months CS pospartum?
