    Which of these c section exercises for stomach muscles did you like and feel the most? I personally love the wall bridge with the soft ball (or cushion). Tell me below👇.

      After 3mnths c section should I start or not, n I also had a lot of pain in my knee n back side

      @BumpandBeyond  4 года назад

      @@sadia-and-samadI suggest you visit your health care provider about the pain in your knee and back side as the videos here are not to give medical advice. If you are walking around and pushing a stroller./buggy and lifting and carrying your baby then it is important to gain strength and I believe many of the exercises you find in this video here where you on the floor would be ok for you. It sounds like you need to take a look at your alignment and have a physiotherapist advise you on this.

      Thanks a lot for your precious exercises mam. I am really really wanna say you my hearty thanks. I have been following your exercises for 2 months, then I was 8 months postpartum c section. I couldn't believe how I lost 3 to 4 inches in my hip and thighs. I was just toned well. Thank you so much mam. I'm the proof for your advice and friends follow it if you want to shape yourself and to feel more confident about you body. My only concern is that still I am having my lower belly mommy pooch. Mam I need your guidance to eliminate it, help me mam..

      @@rabiyathulfahmiya701 thank you so much for your kind comments 🙏.. The lower belly pooch needs patience and consistency with these kind of exercises, some daily walking and eating fresh, whole foods that are unprocessed. If you are eating high saturated fat and sugar then I recommend limiting these and eating lean chicken, turkey and beans/pulses with plenty of green vegetables. It takes time and progression with the exercises. Keep going with the exercises and I will post a more advanced one soon.

    So I’ve been doing this workout for several weeks now and I’ve always struggled so much with my lower tummy after 2 c sections. I do intense workouts and nothing worked until I came across this video. I definitely notice my tummy has gotten a lot flatter and my muscles are stronger. I will continue to do it. I do it three times a week and I absolutely love it. Thank you so much for this 🙏🏽

    A little update on my progress:
    I’ve been doing these exercises for over a month now and I must say I highly recommend. I can definitely feel my lower tummy more engaged which was my biggest problem after 2 c sections. I’ve had my second c section 3 years ago and I am highly active but nothing worked in the past then i came across these foundational exercises and I am obsessed . I do this 3 times a week after a high intensity cardio workout. In addition to that I also do kegels while performing these exercises and omg everything is stronger and tighter 😀. No more c section discomfort (just keeping it real). For all you lovely mommies with or without c sections, you will not regret doing this workout. A must try!! Thank you so much Vicky!!❤️❤️

      @Sanjida Parin - so pleased your back pain is better. Flat stomach requires some love and attention to the food you eat too = lean, protein at each meal and plenty of vegetables including green, leafy ones. Go for high fibre carbohydrate foods too. Limit the sugary/starchy foods. Add movement as part of daily life. Enjoy starting to build healthy habits you can sustain.

    Great video!! Lovevit!! I will do this! It is ok for cs to do plank and sit up?.

    • @BumpandBeyond
      @BumpandBeyond  3 года назад

      Hey @Jessica Dano - thank you, thrilled you checked out my video and did it! Well done! The plank and sit-up whilst we love them are not the best ones to do, after having a baby just yet as they don't target the deeper muscles. Instead, if you want to do a plank do it in an incline position against a wall, so hands on the wall or on a chair. Instead of a sit -up which may make any abdominal separation you have at this stage worse, do a very small lift of the head and shoulders, exhale and gently bring in your belly button as if you are trying to bring it directly towards the lower part of your back. Make sure you do not lift or flare your ribs or crane your neck forwards with your hands. Your aim is to tighten your lower tummy muscle when you lift your head and slightly your shoulders, the tummy wants to sink down and not pop up or dome. It that happens, you don't have the strength yet to do the exercise so instead continue with these ones on the video to strengthen the deeper muscles first.

      @BumpandBeyond  3 года назад

      @Zhi Tan, yes these exercises are safe if you have a diastasis recti. In fact, these exercises will help heal it. Be sure to listen to the cue I give in each exercise for when to breath out/exhale as this is usually at the challenging part of the exercise and you need to tighten your tummy around your belly button by visualizing bringing the 2 long vertical muscles together at your midline (that runs down the centre of your body), like closing the front and back cover of a book. Thank you for watching my video and enjoy the exercises!

      You can start these after your scar has healed and there is no infection, you have rested and you do not have any pain. • @BumpandBeyond
      @BumpandBeyond  2 года назад

      Hello @janice bullard, thank you for checking out my video and congratulations on bringing your baby into the world, you did an amazing job 😍. Firstly you need to allow your scar to heal properly before rushing into any exercises, especially if these exercises are completely new to you. Secondly, you need to be moving around daily, simple walking and squatting, not long walks, just keep them short and ideally outdoors. If your c-section is healed, it would be worth checking this with your midwife, then try some of the exercises taking it very gently. You must avoid any that cause you sharp pain. I am not a doctor so cannot clear you for exercise so you will need to make sure you are self-aware of your body and scar and participate at your own risk. Usually, the advice is to wait until after your doctor's check but some of these exercises are very gentle and that advice is general rather than being individual. Without knowing your exercise background, level or weight it is difficult for me to answer your question so make sure your scar is healed first and you are not having any pain in the stomach area, if so you must get this checked out.

    Can you do this years after a c section and does it work

    • @BumpandBeyond
      @BumpandBeyond  Год назад +1

      Thank you for coming by my channel. Yes, of course! When you ask 'Does it work?' results vary depending on the person's level of abdominal strength before doing these exercises, whether they can connect their mind with the body to be fully aware of what muscles they are feeling and whether there is any abdominal fat surrounding the muscle. It also depends on what results you are wanting.
      Many of my clients and those following this video have had great results with strength and tone however, they are the ones who are consistent and follow this video combining it with regular cardiovascular exercise and full-body exercises. You'll find those exercises here on my channel too. Good luck, and enjoy the video.

      Once you've fully recovered and your scar has healed. This is different for everyone so I personally do not agree with the standard 6/8 weeks response. These exercises are fairly gentle so if you've started to move and do light activity/walking then you are good to try these. Make sure you have had a doctors check and there are no complications or you do not have any injury where you have been advised not to exercise. Enjoy the video!

      Hello Happy Channel! ❤️😁 You can start these exercises once your scar has healed and is not infected. This is usually after 4- 8 weeks but depends on the woman. If you don't have any injuries then start with them now and follow my technique instructions please! Enjoy and be sure to take daily walks.

    Is this safe 3 weeks postpartum? After a c section Thank you

    • @BumpandBeyond
      @BumpandBeyond  3 года назад

      @Elizabeth Lister-Barrett there is no definite 'yes' or 'no' answer to this question. It is individual and based on whether you are 1) in any pain 2) whether your scar has healed and 3) whether you have any postpartum bleeding. If you did core exercises during your pregnancy and have recovered and can answer 'no' to questions 1 and 2 and 3 then you would be OK so enjoy and make sure that you do not have any sharp abdominal pain when doing the exercises. If you do, you'll need to stop and seek medical advice. You'll need to pay attention to my cues throughout. As I am not a doctor or practitioner and do not know your history, it's tricky to give you a straight 'yes' whilst it is always my intention to encourage these kind of exercises as soon as you have recovered to help healing; paying attention to your body and the breathing cues throughout.

      Start these once your scar has fully healed and not infected. They usually say 6 weeks but it’s individual, it depends on whether you did core strengthening exercises during pregnancy, exercise history prior to birth and ability to recover. You will need to go slowly through the exercises and listen to my technique tips in particular the breathing. Enjoy!

      Hi Immi M - These exercises would be suitable for you, just make sure you have had your postnatal 6 week check and there are no reasons or complications (other than your moderate diastasis) to not exercise. Follow my cues on activating your tummy muscles correctly and you'll feel those muscles again. Thanks for watching and enjoy!

      Hello @Aruna Lama - thank you for asking. As long as your c-section scar has healed, you have recovered and there are no complications you are with your body, there are no injuries or back problems you can start these exercises. This is very individual and depends on every woman's recovery and how they feel. Whilst I am not a doctor and cannot give you the clearance to exercise, you can start with these exercises if all is well. Please follow my instructions and technique tips and I wish you well with the exercises and trust you enjoy them 🙏 ❤️ .

Then aim to eat one palm size of lean protein; chicken, turkey, eggs or beans, pulses and lentils at every meal with 1 fist size of vegetables and 1 cupped hand of wholegrain carbohydrates. @RobynSaintVeronika - 🙏 for sharing this. This video is a great one to start with as you can do it at home. Aim for 3-4 times a week for at least 3 weeks and keep this really regular. It is also good to try some c section gentle massage around the scar too. I'll be posting a video on that this month (Nov 2020). Try to eat healthy foods - lean protein and lots of vegetables at each meal with foods that you know will make you feel good. Limit sugary/starchy foods. Move your body daily with lots of walking outdoors for the mind and body.

      I would recommend @ Shyamili that you visit a women's health physio or a physical therapist to check your diastasis and the strength of the connective tissue. Then taking the following steps: These exercises 3-4 times a week, daily movement and making good food choices that will help strengthen the fascia to bring the muscles back together you will be able to heal your DR. But you have to take action and do these steps.

    • @BumpandBeyond
      @BumpandBeyond  4 года назад +1

      Hello @Naisa Hasham! Thank you for your question. Yes the exercises in this video are great ones to do for the lower tummy after c-section so do give them a go. Be consistent - you will need to do the complete video 3 to 4 times a week for 4 weeks at least and your nutrition after a cesarean birth is SO important as this will help you flatten the tummy muscles too. NO dieting or calorie counting but whole foods that are rich in fibre, protein, vitamin C and vitamin A and calcium. Examples are lean chicken, turkey, beans and pulses or fish/eggs and plenty of green vegetables such as broccoli and spinach. Choose wholegrain rice/brown rice and sweet potatoes for plenty of fibre, I cannot stress enough how important eating whole unprocessed food is to getting a flatter tummy and recovering after a c section. Hope this helps.

      The 'official' period is to wait 6-8 weeks but this is individual for every woman, some women do not feel fully recovered at this point. You must start with light exercises and these ones are good from 6-8 weeks. Enjoy and pop back to let me know how you get on!

    Can these exercises be done after just 1month of c section?

    • @BumpandBeyond
      @BumpandBeyond  4 года назад +1

      @Madhurima Bhattacharjee - it's best to wait until your scar feels healed which is usually 8 weeks however you may find it has healed already. It's best to have had the all clear from your doctor first however, movement is important and you will feel good, so try 3/4 of these moves, go gently and practice the breathing. If any of the movements pull on your scar (which they shouldn't) or you feel pain or discomfort then stop the exercise.

Keep it to low impact (walking, stationary bike, rowing or Bellicon Rebounding (check my other videos) not high impact as you are still only 6 months and/or if you are returning to exercise or new to exercise or very overweight/obese.
