Type O Negative - Black No. 1 (Little Miss Scare -All) [OFFICIAL VIDEO]
• Type O Negative - Blac...
Type O Negative's video for 'Black No. 1 (Little Miss Scare-All)' off the album Bloody Kisses - available now on Roadrunner Records. Download now on iTunes Видеоклипы
The singer, the late Peter Steele, Was close to 7 feet tall he had extremely large hands. That is why he was able to hold a standing base like that.
Type O Negative is my all time favorite band. Peter Steele indeed had the absolute best vampire voice ever, and this band is unbelievably underrated.
That being said I'm your free time check out the lyrics video, or the actual recording of this song. This video cut out dang near half the song. Peter has AMAZING range and the full version of this song displays that.
R.I.P. Peter Steele he passed away in 2010 from heart complications.
You guys really should do more Type O Negative reactions their music is so good!!
Actually if you want to hear Peter Steele in full "vampire voice", the Type O negative song "Suspended in Dusk" is the one to hear.
Peter was able to play that upright bass like he did because he was 6'7 and was built like a truck at the time.
6'8
The perfect blend of goth and metal. This is the single version, the album version is much longer.
They miss that epic af yell in the beginning every time lol idk if you'd call it a scream but you get me
The gentleman holding the bass, is also the singer Peter Steele (RIP). He was 6'8". Hence as to why he could man handle the bass.
He could hold the double bass like that cos he was like 6'8 or something. Huge bloke.
There is a video from Wacken I think it is that they cover Cinnamon Girl & it's better than the original I reckon
Listen Anesthesia. An amazing song and great lyric from Peter.
This was guaranteed to fill the air with all manner of pheromones at the metal clubs back in the day.
Type o is my all time favorite band i just cant get enough of them! Since 2015 iv been so obsessed! RIP PETER! THE GREEN MAN
Wish you guys had done the album version, but anything Type O is great. R.I.P Pete
Gotta check out "All Hallows Eve" by Type O Negative for Halloween!!
Peter Steele was about 6’8”, he probably could play a floor bass like a bass guitar lol
Bass player is 6'8" and is the main singer as well. Dudes is huge which you can verify by looking at him compared at the size of the bass compared to him. Oh I don't know if you noticed but he uses a chain as a sling.
There is also an 11 minute version of this song.
I got to meet Peter Steele in the early 2000's after a Type-O Negative show in Lewiston Maine. We were waiting by the tour bus after the show for a chance to meet the band.... the cops showed up and were escorting us from the property when Peter came out and asked them what they were doing. He told them we were his friends and proceeded to shoot the shit with us for 40 minutes after they left.
RIP Peter Steele, one of the most down to earth people I have ever met.
Type O Negative was such a great band. The vocals and bass by Peter Steele, guitar and vocals by Kenny Hickey, keyboards by Josh Silver and drums by Johnny Kelly. The band themselves did backing vocals as The Bensonhoist Lesbian Choir. Also check out Peter Steele in Carnivore - Male Supremacy. Hickey and Kelly later had a band called Seventh Void after the death of Peter Steele. Check out Heaven Is Gone
The singer was super scary looking from head to toe. Peter looked and sounded like a vampire. 1st time I saw them live, I didn’t know who they were. The drummer asked my friend and I if we wanted to meet him and we said”no way”. He was a scary looking huge toned towering man. Over all, I loved them and saw them 3 times. This was my fav song by them.
The first time i ever heard of Type O Negative was after Depeche Mode at the LA Forum way back in like 92,93(was a good show) you know how your windshield and hood on your car are covered with flyers promoting bands and music stuff. One of the flyers was promoting Their album bloody kisses
Peter steel was definitely the embodiment of the vampire frontman. Rest in peace dude. The song still holds up. And let's try and keep Twilight out of the conversation shall we? Hahaha
Part of what makes Type O Negative fun, is that Peter Steel (RIP to the big guy) never took himself seriously, his lyrics were both serious in some songs but songs like this he just would go full character and old school horror cheese B-Movie character.
Gotta do the album length version. It's so good.
The first hard rock/heavy metal band I ever saw live. The first of many in the 25 years since. What a Hell of a way to start such an awesome journey in retrospect. Also Peter in person in his prime was a sight to behold. The best way I can describe it is if you're an old Attitude Era wrestling fan imagine Kane with a bass guitar fronting a goth/metal band. Dude made everyone else on that stage look tiny and he was jacked! Like he could have snapped his bass like a toothpick if he had wanted to.
Haha such a perfect description. Never thought of the pro wrestling angle. Absolute legendary musician-song writer.
@@chrisphippen6685 I saw both of them in their prime too. Saw Peter first and I remember when I saw Kane a year or two later thinking he looked like Peter Steele and considering Kane wore the mask back then thinking it COULD have been Peter under the mask.
@@chaospoet I think the main band member in the Metalocalypse cartoon is loosely based on Pete also. Not certain, I only saw one episode a long time back.
@@chrisphippen6685 Honestly wouldn't surprise me. Personality wise he reminded me of him at times. The episode where they accidentally summoned a Godzilla sized troll that ate the audience in particular just they way he says at the end "I can't believe we summoned a giant Troll. How come we never thought of that before?!" I could absolutely picture Pete saying that.
I used to love them so much! Thanks for reminding me, I was missing them!! They will be added back into the rotation!
Do more type O!!! They've got so many great songs and albums. Love you to death is a good one. September Sun is mellow for them....sooo many
Awesome reaction guys
At least,50 hits you should be reacting to from type o negative. One of my favorites is I don't wanna be me
My personal favorite, super underrated because it was never released as a single, is We Hate Everyone. That song is just insane.
@@chaospoet it's awesome, I absolutely love everything on the origin of the feces album. Hey Pete is brutal. It really shows hickey's guitar skills
@@AClark-jx9zp I mean the guy was in Carnivore! I love his melodic and goth side but anytime he started showing his Carnivore side even just a little I was like "F*ck Yes!"
*Highly recommending: THE 69 EYES -- "Dead Girls Are Easy" [Goth'N'Roll at its best !!]* 🎸🎵🦇💀🔥
NOTHING COMPARES TO TYPE O
The most serious review over a song about hair dye XD
One of my favorite songs,Type O Negative was my first concert with Sepultura and Ozzy when I was in 5th grade in March 96
This version of the song was shortened considerably. You should definitely check out the over 11-minute version.
TYPE O NEGATIVE RULES!!
My most favorite band ever ❤
So More Type O Negative Songs
This is goth at its finest was hearing out of high school in class of 1992 they were dark I love this band need more need to do the video for LOVE YOU TO DEATH it's there best
Love you to death is a great song indeed! All of October Rust is amazing but I would probably lean towards Wolf Moon being the best off that album
They've already reacted to it on the channel :)
@@AS-uj3ju oh ok did not know that thanks
I was hoping you would do the full version... Check it out now
Well if you guys are called The Wolf Hunterz, you should check out another song they have called Wolf Moon. It has a different meaning than what you might think lol
the 'attractive & charismatic gentleman vampire'-theme was mainly pushed forward by bela lugosi as dracula in 1931. before that vampires usually were depicted as ugly monsters - like e.g. max schreck in "nosferatu" from 1922.
the early 20th century was the time when there was a cultural shift from the idea, that ugly means evil and evil means ugly (quite prominently portrayed in the original fairytales by the brothers grimm), to the idea that someone could use his beauty and attractiveness to achieve an evil goal. according to the old idea e.g. dr. jekyll had to transform _physically_ (not just mentally!) into the ugly mr. hyde to commit crimes. the public mainstream e.g expected jack the ripper to be ugly, since he was evil - and that _might_ have helped him getting away with his crimes. after actors like bela lugosi as dracula or gustav gründgens as mephisto this idea (almost) completely changed (except for disney movies). also novels like "the phantom of the opera" helped overcoming the idea, that ugly humans are evil.
Check out their cover of Black Sabbath song "Black Sabbath", fucking evil as hell sounding.
I named my Jeep Black No. 1!!!
Their cover of Summer Breeze is 🔥
Play Type o Negative - Wolf Moon on a dark road on full blast . Or react to it your call
All is possible in New York!
Anesthesia from them is an absolute must reaction from them
More Type O Negative please
Theme music for fall of 93'
Wolf Moon by Type O Negative
No official video, only fan edits...great song though. How bout Christian Woman or Everything Dies?
RIP Peter Steele 🖤
🖤🖤🖤🖤
Please check out type o negative
suspended in dusk. there is an actual video for it you must see...love u guys..
Pete Steele was known for his large everything😉😉😉😉
It’s amazing how peters voice just puts women in this trance lol.
1:28 Siouxie was not ready...
1:58 ... at all.
First time I saw Peter Steele was in Carnivore. I’m still not sure if I like Type-O or Carnivore more.
More Type O
I suggest you listen to them all lol
You guys really need to check out a very obscure gem from the 80s, Hollywood Halloween By Dave Brouchek. Not only is the video cool as hell as it is filmed in the gritty part of Hollywood and the song itself kicks ass.
that was strange video
You mean Paul Brouchek?
Peter Steele the singer was like 6'8" so playing an upright bass like a regular bass is actually reasonable.
best Vampire song. check out. BLOODLETTING by Concrete Blonde
the After Midnight mix is best
This short version is so chopped up and leaves a lot to be desired.
Rip green man
Peter Steele was 6'8, had the deepest voice, and was built like freight train for his height. And he went all in on the Dracula vibes. So yeah, he definitely held an upright bass in his arms like that and made it look small 😂 This is actually the 'radio edit' of the song that's cut down for time.
And oh dear, do NOT watch Twilight for vampire information, please! 🤣They don't even have fangs and sparkle in the sunlight instead of burn to a crisp, it's, at the very LEAST, not a good resource. Watch some Dracula adaptations, some Buffy, some True Blood, The Lost Boys, Underworld even - they have werewolves too.
The album version of this song is waaaaaayy better. Check it out for yourself sometime. Cheers!
I suggest you read the anthology book Erotica Vampirica that’s filled with vampire and werewolf sexual encounters
I'm probably wrong here, but I thought it was A Harpsy Cord, not a piano.
It's harpsichord dude
Pete Steele is god.
It's the extremely short version of this song..but that's ok
Not really ok at all
Vampire? This track is about black hair color 🥳🫣
mh... you lost her at 5:14 ... better get some garlic there.
Can't believe you didn't ask to what version react .. the longer version is much groovier... this one is like a two pump chump...
Peter Steele was apart of my bisexual awakening
The lead singer for Type O- was a giant of a man. Think goth Danny Carey. If you watch the video for "My Girlfriend's Girlfriend" it's pretty obvious.
Seen them live more than once...R i.p Peter Steele
Party in Peace MO' Fo! Peter Steele🪖🎸 🟢 🧹
Watch Bram Stokers Dracula(well read the book haha) with the great Gary Oldman! Great adaptation!!!
