I had two dates with a dude in a restaurant and that was all. He was not my type, I was not his type, so we never dated again. My cousin, who was divorced three times, because she was cheating on her husbands, assumed that I was sleeping with the dude. I come to understand that because she was sleeping with people she went on dates, she assumed that everyone else was doing what she was doing. So her perspective tells more about her, than about the people she is talking about. We should learn to not assume that everyone is like us...

Dating is super hard these days because a lot of men are looking for help, not mature, or running the streets…I’m 35 & have almost just given up. I feel like majority of the good men are taken or stay in the house.
Single, never married, no kids so no baby daddy drama, and now 18 yrs into my career. Completely stopped dating about 4 yrs ago. Too many grown boys out here making you feel unsafe to date anyone anymore. Way too much chaos and confusion in the dating scene these days. All due to a lack of accountability and growth. Forget them, they just don’t want us to exercise our options. When I was dating, I multi-dated a lot, even in the same day lol Breakfast dates, lunch dates, dinner dates. That doesn’t mean sex. And there was no one to judge me because no one knew my business. It’s ok to date around and see what’s good for us. I’m newly single, and when I’m ready, I will be back to multi-dating while excluding sex☺️
So much is sexualized now that some people will instantly correlate _dating_ with having sexual relations and not just what it is, as you stated, _the act of going on dates._ I like the example of Lori Harvey. I've thought that about her but society presumes she's gone to bed with all the men she's been with. We don't know for sure that's the case and I bet none of those men would tell the world that they didn't sleep with her because in this society's view it would make them look like less of a man for having not bed her down.
Go on date with multiples people BUT set your boundaries. Some men can go on dates without any intentions of wanting to know. I personally , can’t date multiples or keep rotating dates very weekend or other week.
I’m glad Tony did a video on this, people using the word dating these days mean so many things. I’m glad to know that dating different people at once is not a bad thing for a female. Because that’s exactly what I did, I’m not the type to put all my eggs in one basket. However, when I went on these dates I went home to my bed or got ready to go on another date 😝. I don’t regret it at all and I had fun doing this and I felt free to explore my options. Now I’m married with 2 boys and when they start going on dates I won’t them to have the same experience.
See Leelee you said the keyword options!!!! Thats the problem with alot of us women we don't keep our options open. That's what hurts alot us out here in the modern dating world. Truly honest alot us don't know how to date. We don't know how to go out socialize and meet people that's another thing.
@Priscilla the woman sets the tone of the dates. The purpose of dating is to do things in various settings to vet a man and learn them. It’s not to get physical or be affectionate. Tell them you move slow. You know when he’s likely going to try to kiss you, so you turn your face when going in for the hug or church hug (one handed, side turned). Men likely have other women they’re dating as well so it makes them no difference if they get to “kiss” you or not. I generally have one person I’m more into than the others and that’s who gets the kiss or whatever else “I” decide. The rest I keep them in a friendly position. Just like going out with my girlfriends except they’re men. It’s really that simple.
@Priscilla you’re welcome and I will also say don’t play games. If you’re not interested in a man don’t just be dating him for months on end because it’s free food or because you’re bored. That’s not fair to them either. In addition to letting them know I move slow, I also tell them that I generally know by the 3rd date but it’s often sooner than that. This also helps set boundaries and buys you some time.

Don’t want anyone catching feelings or thinking it’s going to be more eventually. I call myself a serial dater…lol. There’s a way to do it respectfully. And don’t take or date within a small circle. Date men from the next town over, the next major city, heck even states away. Everyone doesn’t get to go to your favorite bar, restaurant, church…this one gets them because they ALL try that I wanna go to church with you thing and I have to tell them no off rip. It can be done. I have never been out with a guy and ran into another guy I was also seeing. Yea let’s drive 30 minutes for ice cream lol.

For your advice I’m 40 and been going on dates with one particular person for 30 days I’ve made a subconscious and conscious decision to be abstinent until marriage I haven’t had a chance to mention this to him because sex has never been brought up. fasting and praying is definitely helping me been abstinent for 7 yrs so far. But I will eventually just tell him when the time is right or when he asks me to be his girlfriend 😅😊

Forget them, they just don’t want us to exercise our options. When I was dating, I multi-dated a lot, even in the same day lol Breakfast dates, lunch dates, dinner dates. That doesn’t mean sex. And there was no one to judge me because no one knew my business. It’s ok to date around and see what’s good for us. I’m newly single, and when I’m ready, I will be back to multi-dating while excluding sex☺️

I like the example of Lori Harvey. I've thought that about her but society presumes she's gone to bed with all the men she's been with. We don't know for sure that's the case and I bet none of those men would tell the world that they didn't sleep with her because in this society's view it would make them look like less of a man for having not bed her down.
Go on date with multiples people BUT set your boundaries. Some men can go on dates without any intentions of wanting to know.
I personally , can’t date multiples or keep rotating dates very weekend or other week.
I’m glad Tony did a video on this, people using the word dating these days mean so many things. I’m glad to know that dating different people at once is not a bad thing for a female. Because that’s exactly what I did, I’m not the type to put all my eggs in one basket. However, when I went on these dates I went home to my bed or got ready to go on another date 😝. I don’t regret it at all and I had fun doing this and I felt free to explore my options. Now I’m married with 2 boys and when they start going on dates I won’t them to have the same experience.

@Priscilla the woman sets the tone of the dates. The purpose of dating is to do things in various settings to vet a man and learn them. It’s not to get physical or be affectionate. Tell them you move slow. You know when he’s likely going to try to kiss you, so you turn your face when going in for the hug or church hug (one handed, side turned). Men likely have other women they’re dating as well so it makes them no difference if they get to “kiss” you or not. I generally have one person I’m more into than the others and that’s who gets the kiss or whatever else “I” decide. The rest I keep them in a friendly position. Just like going out with my girlfriends except they’re men. It’s really that simple.
@Priscilla you’re welcome and I will also say don’t play games. If you’re not interested in a man don’t just be dating him for months on end because it’s free food or because you’re bored. That’s not fair to them either. In addition to letting them know I move slow, I also tell them that I generally know by the 3rd date but it’s often sooner than that. This also helps set boundaries and buys you some time.
@Priscilla no. I just mention on the first date/conversation that I move slow and I usually know by the third date if there’s real interest. This also allows them to know they’re on borrowed time and have their own gauge for how things are going. If the first date is a disaster or things start happening between dates 1 to 3 then they already know they’re on the way out and they have the option to stop contacting me as well. Don’t want anyone catching feelings or thinking it’s going to be more eventually. I call myself a serial dater…lol. There’s a way to do it respectfully. And don’t take or date within a small circle. Date men from the next town over, the next major city, heck even states away. Everyone doesn’t get to go to your favorite bar, restaurant, church…this one gets them because they ALL try that I wanna go to church with you thing and I have to tell them no off rip. It can be done. I have never been out with a guy and ran into another guy I was also seeing. Yea let’s drive 30 minutes for ice cream lol.
I like texting because it gives me time to conceptualize my thoughts and come up with a firm well articulated position. When you're not an assertive person people tend to overpower your voice during in-person conversations

For your advice I’m 40 and been going on dates with one particular person for 30 days I’ve made a subconscious and conscious decision to be abstinent until marriage I haven’t had a chance to mention this to him because sex has never been brought up. fasting and praying is definitely helping me been abstinent for 7 yrs so far. I enjoyed this so much! Great information and knowledge. Unfortunately, I am too uncomfortable with dating anyone. At this time in my life I have some things to get in order and I would like to spend the next year working on me. I'm not ready to date now but I will be. ❤ I think it takes just as much wisdom to hold off on this area of life as it does moving forward in it.

Agreed..dating for relationship is very important and there is proper way to do it..the Bible is very much a relationship book..the first act between the serpent with Adam and Eve was to disrupt their relationship with God. Who we choose can either help disrupt our life or lead us to progress/elevation. Im learning to Get intimate with God first because he can heal my mess and knows whats best for me🙏
