- Reviewing Tower Fisheries, the UK's cheapest fish and chip shop, and mid-price Lily's Traditional Fish and Chips, both of which are in Blackpool. @jamiesrockandsoul recently did a live review of Tower Fisheries, which is one of Blackpool's most popular chippies among locals, and Dan and I thought we would give it a try. Lily's is no. 1 in "25 of Fylde's best-rated fish and chip shops", and we were curious to see how it compared.

I do love me fish and chips but never had a haddock ones.
Haddock is delicious, similar to cod in texture. Pollock (Staithe) is also a member of the haddock family. Haddock is the most popular fish in Scotland (where fish and chips are known as a 'fish supper' at any time of day!) and in some areas of Northern England.
A great little review, it's good to see you out and about vlogging, you're excellent at reviewing food and gave fair scores i feel, Lilys is nice but very pricey...as was MH!!!! Was brilliant to spend some time with you and I hope you have gotten home energised now🙂

Tower fisheries are the cheapest in Blackpool, great value for money! I will be staying in the Carlton at the end of September, booked a long weekend...
Your scoring is very generous, I would give Tower fisheries 8 and the second one, because of the price and noise a 6

@@peterkearns665 Blackpool seems to be full of good chippies, way better than many in Thanet, I think anyway, and better value for money despite a similar demographic, which probably reflects my high scores. 😹 Enjoy your weekend in Blackpool. 💖
