- Reviewing a Swiss Bun, a Jam Doughnut and a Genoa Cake from Thanet's popular high-street bakery, Crusties Bakery Ltd. I gave these a good score overall. The jam doughnut was a particularly good highlight.

Dear Mum you're always great and Good human being.I liked the way you have explained the Taste of the Buns and Cakes are most Admirable😊
@@s.venkateswarpatnaik2484 I love buns and cakes and that's my problem. I'll never be slim! 😹😹
I love the history you give us. Thanks for sharing!
@@growjoyfullyhomestead you're very welcome. Hsving an interest in food history gives me an excuse to eat more. 😹
A fair mark, that looked delicious :)
@@jamiesrockandsoul it was. In the last few days I've tried the Crustie's doughnut £1.30, a Waitrose one 87p and a Gregg's from a pack of 4 for around £3.50 and the Crustie's one stands head and shoulders above the others. Only the one I had from Harrods earlier in the year matched its quality, and that cost £4.50 though to be fair it was Harrods, in London Knightsbridge, and the raspberry jam was fresh artisan-made with a great consistency.
@@catevanscuisine Yes Crustie's are delicious, was filming one day and got a free one for being cheeky! I remember it was heaven :)
I've had wenzel's jam doughnuts and they are really really good too, so possibly you could give them a try too.
@@foodsfromaroundtheworld I will bear that in mind, if I can source some. I live in Thanet, technically an island between UK mainland and France and variety can be a problem here, even simple everyday things can be out of stock or unavailable but if I cannot find any here I am hopeful I will find them elsewhere and I am familiar with the brand. Thanks so much for the suggestion. 💖
So I understand u my best friend @jamiesrockandsoul at the pub it's a pleasure keep up the good work and KEEP GOING U GOT THIS!!!!!!!!!!
