Por más que digan que estuvieron patinando casi todo el vídeo, hay una gran diferencia: la Hilux tenías neumáticos para off road, a diferencia de la Q7 la cual tenía unos exclusivos para el asfalto. Si se hubiera equipado a esta última con neumáticos adecuados al terreno. La victoria hubiera sido casi inmediata por parte del Audi.
Would like to see how the audi would do with AT tyres. Looks like it still has highway tyres on which is huge disadvantage. Im guessing here but i am pretty sure the audi weighs more than the hilux and that plays in its favour. However the lux had better tyres this why neither of them went anywhere. And just for those saying look at the end... does not matter to me as you can clearly see the hilux driver just did not try anymore as it was going nowhere for both of them. That is the only reason audi took it in the end. My money is still on audi not because of what happend but because i believe it weighs more. Lemme get this straight the Hilux had differential lock. Q7s electronic traction worked like a charm and when the q7 truned it's wheels it got better traction . German engineering won this challenge .
Sorry but Q7 is not Quattro. Just like the TT, it is Haldex. The Q7 has a Borg-Warner t-case, just like the Fords. Not same model but not an Audi tcase.
When the Audi turned it wheels, it moved onto new ground that gave it better traction, whereas the original ground had become loose sand. This is not a fair comparison.
i know Hilux is capable. But just give that Audi a proper road for traction and it will drag the Hilux as a dead Lizard. I have seen Q7 pulling loaded 16 wheeler trucks.

Pickups are utility vehicles that can (in this case due to 4x4) go anywhere. I love Audis but if you ask me a tug of war battle means absolutely nothing. They both develop the same amount of torque, theyre both 4x4, they both have offroad tyres on (audi Does too, check closely). if the audi had done the same thing the driver of the hilux was, flooring it all the time. they wouldve been here the whole day. Nobody wouldve won...
***** actually if that was the Audi Q7 V12 TDI that has about 1000 Nm of torque and i dont think a hilux has that much of torque so if that was the V12 Audi it could win tug of war all day with the right tire and also it is kind of about the tire and I think Audi puts somekind of road and offroad tires on it not just simple road tires, and yeah i would rather take the Hilux for off-roading because its lifted and it has better tires for proper off-roading.

I stand to be corrected. I think the Q7 is an ALL WHEEL DRIVE with probably 40/60% drive front and back respectively. More still, it's an SUV with more weight to the back than the pick-up and that is before we even talk about their different overall weights. I think the Hilux did well.
