      ¡Muchas gracias nuevamente por apreciar este trabajo!
      Las dos puertas traseras se forrarán completamente en cuero/piel como parte del conjunto de tapicería trasera que comprende el asiento y espaldar. Este proyecto consiste en adaptar este conjunto a una base de madera para que se convierta en un mueble de oficina personalizado. En un siguiente video mostraremos la armazón de madera con las piezas que se van a forrar fijadas sobre ésta.
      En el caso de tapizado OEM de puertas, refiriéndome a este diseño del Jaguar, nosotros los tapiceros solamente tapizaríamos el 'descansabrazos' en sí, sin incluir sus otras partes de plástico y el pequeño panel que sostiene un 'adorno de plástico imitación madera'. Las otras áreas son muy opcionales si el cliente lo requiere.
      El tapizado del descansabrazos sólo consiste en las dos piezas que se unen por una 'costura ciega' y 'la sobrecostura doble' por encima. La parte interior de plástico que comprende 'la agarradera' y 'la otra pieza que aloja el botón' no se tapizan generalmente, mas bien se pintan con pintura para plástico.

    • @deltajohnny
      @deltajohnny 5 лет назад

      @@Cechaflo muchas gracias de nuevo por las explicaciones, y estaremos atentos para disfrutar con el resto de vídeos! 👏👏👏👏
      En relación al tapizado, si en fábrica forrasen todo en piel como está haciendo usted, se incrementaría muchísimo el precio de los coches porque cuando usted desmontaba el tapizado que venía de la fábrica, también pensé que aunque fuese solo una pieza forrada, también tuvo que llevar un buen rato al trabajador que se encargó de hacerlo...
      Algunas veces he visto algún vídeo en internet de cómo trabajan en fábricas de coches de lujo, como Bentley, y no me importaría nada pasar allí unas cuantas semanas de aprendiz, como tampoco me importaría pasar esas mismas semanas junto a usted mientras hace sus trabajos, que no tienen nada que envidiar a los de Bentley o Rolls Royce 👏👏👏👏😁😁😁😁😉😉😉

      Only if we order leather directly from the tannery and skived to the required size. For this projects is advisable 1mm thick.
      Very difficult the use of another ways. It could be with a beveler (hand skiver), but not so easy.

    Another great video, good job.
    Why did you use the polyurethane glue on the center seem and not on the edges?
    What is the difference in the 2 glues?
    Is the hair drier to make the leather easier to stitch or does it do something to the glue?

    • @Cechaflo
      @Cechaflo  5 лет назад +5

      Thanks so much for appreciating this art craft!
      The 'polyurethane glue' is stronger and once is stuck it is very difficult to unstick. I used it on center seams because keeps them in place very secure. For the edges I used the traditional yellow glue because no much risk of unfastening on this part.
      The 'shoemaker's polyurethane glue' is activated by some heat. When it dries naturally it does not stick and give us time to line up the seam.
      The hair dryer should blow hot air to activate the transparent glue, otherwise, it would not stick. The heat makes hot the leather surface and passes through to also activate the glue.
      A hair dryer also helps to erase wrinkles, because the leather tends to shrink if some heat over.

      As we can see, after cutting off the rivet heads they can be 'melted' and 'welded' forming 'small protrusions of plastic' to refasten the piece again. As I show in former video little screws are also useful to refasten these plastic pieces to door panel frame.

      It is seen at this moment in the cardstock paper: ruclips.net/video/sMfvDElAEmw/видео.html

    • @Cechaflo
      @Cechaflo  5 лет назад

      There is no much tension on that area, and I considered not necessary to put the ´спанбонда' beneath de junction (it is optional).
      I use the 'fabric backing' as a must in case of 'double stitches' on car seats.
      The Hog Ring Forum stands out a related post where master trimmer Brent Parker also shows this technique. The 'groove' along the upper armrestg edge is very important to get a 100% flat french seams.

    • @Cechaflo
      @Cechaflo  4 года назад +1

      Estimado Javier, No fabrico ningun tipo de pegamento. Con respecto a los pegamentos el que mas uso es el amarillo que se utiliza para carros o muebles.
      El secreto para un buen pegado es, si fuera necesario, lijar bien la superficie a pegar, no mucho, lo suficiente para quitarle lo 'aceitoso/brilloso' que está por encima. Luego de aplicar el pegamento a ambas superficies, dejar secar bien. Si queremos un mejor pegado se le aplica 2 capas (solo al plástico, madera, etc. al que vamos a pegar) La primera capa sirve de 'base'. Hay que dejar secar bien esta primera capa. La segunda, la efectiva se deja secar lo suficiente (15 min aprox) y esta listo cuando hacemos la prueba que no este pegajoso a la punta de los dedos.

      @@sidleonard7432 There different good trade marks, such as Juki, Singer, Adler, Consew, Brother, etc. The machine should be triple transport, heavy duty.

    Great video, great attention to detail. Why did you use a polyurethane glue for the joint ?

    • @Cechaflo
      @Cechaflo  5 лет назад +2

      Thanks so much for appreciating this art craft!
      This glue is stronger than regular yellow glue. When it dries does not stick unless it is activated with some heat(hair dryer). It gives time to line the junction up.
