Very nice fix..!!
Love your videos Tio! Can you show how to make your own car seat cushion? I have a 1989 Honda Civic EF hatchback and you can’t buy a cushion anywhere, I didn’t want to buy one anyways I prefer to make it 😉, but no one shows you how to cut the foam and form a seat out of it. If you could help that’d be great!God bless!✝️💖
Great vid mate, is there any way of making the seats not look baggy without putting more foam in cheers Graham

My 2014 Tundra is too stiff ,, this might work to soften up for better comfort ??
Great video. what type of material did you use on the bottom and for the side of the foam?
I was looking for this as well, after a little investigation I found it was burlap or Hessian on the bottom (but he says you can use any heavy duty material) and a material called Cambric (some places call it fabric dust cover). It's the same stuff they use on the underside of coaches and office chairs.
Very nice
One question. Any chance based in Los Angeles?
What is that black tape called
Where is your shop? I need this.
What good leather would you recommend for a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT
For two thousand 17th there is a lot a bran that you can use One that I alway recommend is the Nappa Brand . Is not that expensive but it's not cheaper either it's in the middle
What is the density on the pink 1/2in foam? -- Thanks!!!!!

flexible Polyurethane foam
What are the wire or thin bars that go across the metal seat base called? If I need to replace those in a old seat
Flexolator seat springs, measure what you need. Albrights Supply has them
Is this okay with a heated seat?
I am living in Arkansas in the Fayetteville city, where can I fix my driver seat foam in cheaper
I Will like to do What you do, I envoy it wacthing you do that
Just curious what you would end up charging a guy to do all this? After all that work, it seems like it would have been cheaper to just get a new seat foam!
Just yesterday I pulled the passenger seat bottom apart on my Sierra and used your trick with a steamer to 're-inflate' the foam. Last month... took apart all the sofas in the house and did it to them as well! Works great.
I don't know what Mr. Mario would charge, but I also do upholstery. A new seat foam is sometimes $300 just for the cushion. Usually I use my leftover foam from other jobs, to repair seats. So for.. idk. Say it needs foam repair, and the cover needs some repair. Maybe 175-250 for everything.
@@jimbob4859 - So still worth it I guess for most people who aren't restoring a classic (etc). And of course, you can't get a new seat foam for everything - so this is a totally viable option then.
@@DrFieroexactly. And it only takes a few hours max to remove the seat, repair foam, and reassemble the seat. Lot of times, anyway.
What does it look like, what happens when, someone puts too much extra foam in?
It turns foamy.
