Huge fan KTO, love all of your work. Honestly better than most ESPN documentaries that have been thrown out lately. I love how you are pulling actual sources and stuff that most of us have never even heard of. Like the Bobby Petrino video, never knew all those schools were in touch with him during his tenure in Louisville. I had an idea for a possible video, you dissected into Vince Young's rise and fall. I was kind of thinking about his former teammate, Adam "Pac-Man" Jones' career. He was seen as a Promising shut down corner in College, drafted in the 1st round. And with his run-ins with the law, Jump to Pro-Wrestling, returning to football, and then more run-ins withthe law. I'd think it'd make for a pretty cool video. Anyways, keep up the awesome work. Look forward to the next video.
Man, great job telling the story without being sensationally negative. I think your critiques are honest and fair, and highlighted with hope. You end the video wishing nothing but the best for not just the player or the athlete, but for the human being beneath the facemask. Well done!
@@innermasterypyramidscycles5329 he actually was labeled old when he was very young by the fake news media. He had just easily beaten out the greenbay packers qbs to win backup job under Aaron Rodgers in 2012 . This is specifically why they mysteriously cut him and couldn't give a reason. They actually sent the gm to announce it and said " vy did everything right and none of the stories you hear about him are true, he is a tremendous player person and hard working etc.. " ... I am a Titans fan and I loved watching him play. I saw him live once against Buffalo. He had a 36 yard TD rush right before the half and he led them to a game winning drive, 30-29. I also remember the exact moment Vince was done in Tennessee. He had a hurt thumb and actually played well during the game, but Jeff Fisher refused to put Vince back in the game and the Titans ended up losing the game. Vince took off his pads and threw them into the stands. Jeff Fisher ruined so many QBs, at least the Rams finally fired him sooner rather than later.

I was always amazed at mcnairs relationship with vince. He even picked him up in a private plane once when he couldn't make it to camp or a game one. Thats awesome.
As a Titans fan, I saw this all play out from start to finish. Jeff Fisher is to blame in part, but no where near as responsible for Vince’s shortcomings as he’s made out to be. Bottom line is, Vince Young was extremely immature and on top of that, extremely dull. He scored a 12 on the Wonderlic Test during the NFL drafting process. If that’s not enough of a red flag, he never developed enough to see past the first read during a play. It took him until 2009 before he started to show ability to not stare down receivers the entire time and not immediately resort to running. The QBs who do show great ability to escape pressure and make plays with their feet, i.e. Russell Wilson, Cam Newton, Marcus Mariota, Deshaun Watson, and anyone else you can think of, ALL have more intelligence than Vince Young and can understand an offense and the finer points of playing the position because of it. If VY couldn’t understand a simple offense the likes of which Jeff Fisher employs, who’s to say he’d have faired better under someone who actually knew a thing or two about a modern NFL offensive system? As recently as the 2018 NFL Draft, Vince displayed just how much intelligence he has by mispronouncing the Titans’ first overall draft pick Harold Landry. In Vince’s words: “Honor Landry” That seems like something insignificant and that I may be nitpicking, but think about how someone could possibly misread/mispronounce the name Harold. Fisher mishandled Vince, but make no mistake, Vince’s ceiling wasn’t as high as it’s believed to have been and I don’t think many other coaches could’ve done much better.
I agree... although Fisher's poor record with QBs speaks for itself the main factor for Young's lack of success in the NFL was his low IQ....the NFL gives the Wunderlich (sp?) test for a reason and I have yet to see a low scorer succeed in the modern NFL
IBringIt56 I agree and disagree. I think raw talent wise there was a very high ceiling. The skill side of it was very low though (he couldn’t throw consistently, couldn’t read defenses... etc.). That being said the skill aspect of it is teachable, whereas talent simply isn’t. I think with a good coach Vince with his abilities could’ve been a really top tier QB. I think Vince needed a no nonsense coach that really believed in him and made him feel it that would work with him and help him develop.
@Matt Beeman vy attitude is also a classic fake news hoax used to describe why he "failed" . That is simply not in evidence. All his teammates since day 1 till now disagree. Only anti vy media say this. And if watch him play his heart out in every game never complain on tv etc no evidence exists to back up this lie. Again only storys and fake news
@@cheese3416 Lmao dude was as dumb as it gets man get over it. Bad work ethic as well, I still remember his start as a backup in Philly stinking it up. Can't blame anyone but Vince for his failure outside of Tennessee.
@@Wickedsicked8 dumb as it gets etc not in evidence and just your bias. The actual evidence in philly is vy shows he still has his leadership clutch ability to win. Also that he can pass as well as anyone. Including Brady. Vs giants he was rusty 1st half .. normal.. didnt lose game tho or throw pic 6 etc.. he kept defense of field enough to stay in game.. Second half he used his accurate passing and great leadership and ability to make drives when it matters and not lose but win games.. he drove an 18 play 10 minute drive to go ahead and game winning td pass...on a Thursday night game after year plus on bench. The following week vs super bowl champions vs the giants which he defeated week prior he showed he can dominate with his arm. The game is free on RUclips and if you watch the game vince played steller. He went up 10 to 0 but had mccoy and DeSean not litterally dropped 4 passes easy catches in hands they would of blown open the game 21 to 0 in 2nd quarter. Still he got up 10 to 0 and after desuan dropped easy td pass to go up 17 to 0 the next play vy was running for 1st and instead litterally pulled down by his helmet face mask even announcers said its insane not to call it.. instead the refs called a bs call on the defense and then Patriots get 3 insane bs calls to help them keep drive alive and the philly coach seemingly tried to help the pats by pulling his best db and put a retard in as safety to get repetitively burned. Then as vy gets ball back mccoy and DeSean drop more wife open passes and basically gave up and started arguing with coach on sidelines like bitches.. Vy tried to corral it but desuan ignored him Then after pats given few more calls and few more no calls on Vince they got ahead and then it was just Vince playing on a team that gave up except him. Seriously go watch it. On RUclips 2011 eagles vs Patriots. Also this shitty video says in 2010 vince didnt play well. Lol what?? He fucking led the NFL in passer rating. Long ball attempts and highest long ball completions %! He was dictating coverage when fisher allowed him to play in his shotgun spread offense it was too easy... to point that the NFL imo banned him to prevent him from dominating the game and exposed the shitty qbs they use.. Go watch on RUclips titans vs cowboys 2010 free full game. Watch the game and its clear including announcers saying he is dictating the coverage because if they blitz play man he can burn them w legs or bombs And if play zone he sits back and pick apart. Or the other free game on RUclips is titans vs texans 2010 full game. Both games you will see the best qb in nfl completely dominate. To point its a joke and other team defense has 6 pass interference in a row.. plus he ran for 3rd down conversions etc.. He was injured mild thumb and trying to come right back in vs Redskins in important game and Fisher was miced up actually and never gave vy a 2nd thought instantly yelled RUSTY RUSTY AND tossed vy the leading qb in nfl thru 10 games so far in 2010 to trash again for fucking rusty smith.. then vy was like whatever and they lied saying he was a troublemaker .. no the players in lockerroom interview post game support vy that they had a normal locker room discussion and that it was fine and never showed vy side of story

Lol I thought this was flemlo I was like 2 videos in one day
I first saw Young when he signed with the Packers. Everyone in my family were really impressed with how he played in the preseason and were really confused when he ended up getting cut.
Regardless of what happened to him, he’s still one of my all time favorite players and I was really routing for him all the way through to his CFL attempt.
RIP Air McNair. Vince was the epitome of a great college QB who’s skills didn’t translate to the league. It’s sad considering he played and finished the greatest college game ever
Had to come back and watch this After Vince Young and reggie got together with EA to play the new campus legends mode. They were replaying the bowl game between USC and Texas. Pretty wholesome and Vince seemed happy. It was good to see
i see vince young every day becase his son plays in my league
Tell that man well always have love for him in Texas and fuck Fisher💪🏾👊🏾

I think he left the corporal world to join the Scott the woz universe
I'm suppose a few of us is here from Scott the woz
Man, great job telling the story without being sensationally negative. I think your critiques are honest and fair, and highlighted with hope. You end the video wishing nothing but the best for not just the player or the athlete, but for the human being beneath the facemask. Well done!
Heat video. Haven’t even watched it yet. (Just watched, I stand by my comment.)
Vince Young came to talk to my school’s football program which was pretty amazing for me and my teammates and I really respect him and what he does
Do Story of Colorado Football in the 90’s
Didn't Vince also set the record for the lowest Wonderlic IQ score of 4/50 as well?
Orange_Man Bad Dince Young
"What happened to Vince Young?" He became Vince Old.
Im so sorry
I mean everyone gets old 🤔🤫
@@innermasterypyramidscycles5329 he actually was labeled old when he was very young by the fake news media. He had just easily beaten out the greenbay packers qbs to win backup job under Aaron Rodgers in 2012 . He had a Thursday night preseason game and he shined with great classic vy runs, passes, composure, leadership and fans were loving him and ppl were questioning on chat rooms how he was already going to cause a potential qb controversy because the "media darling" Rodgers as good as he was if lost or had a few bad games and you see what vince young had just done with backups and he was busting long runs etc that rogers would feel pressure
This is specifically why they mysteriously cut him and couldn't give a reason. They actually sent the gm to announce it and said " vy did everything right and none of the stories you hear about him are true, he is a tremendous player person and hard working etc.. " ... "
Red flag-
they then said " its actually Our Fault that we brought him in too late to learn all the 1000s of plays in our play book"
This is classic word salad bc they are not being honest. Its like when james comey listed all the reasons Hillary was a criminal then said that is why we recommend she not be charged. This is the way they do
I am a Titans fan and I loved watching him play.

Make a video on how he spent $15,000 at a Cheesecake Factory
This is out of context fake news designed to hurt him . Truth all rookie top draft picks take out teammates to eat. Vy took his lineman out after a big win as a rookie on him . The team ate tons and ran up a huge bill. Just 1 of 1000s of fake news hoaxes that are never challenged or called out. I will not stop until i get truth out there tho

What timing . I was just thinking about what happened to Vince. Thanks for showing us his brief but but brilliant NFL flashes of greatness. He was so scary good for the NC game against USC. I’m no Texas fan, but ya got give him his due. Thank you for telling it
I’ve always wondered what happened to him, him and Chris Johnson were amazing in madden 09
Vince Young had the clutch gene and that Rose Bowl was a gem one of the best overall football games I’ve ever seen
I must say, your music choice is excellent!!!
I never heard of the titans until Vince Young played there. He will forever be one of the best that ever played
This guy’s career was not just ruined by Fisher, it was by himself too.
I'll never turn my back on Vince Young, it wasn't his fault the 2011 Eagles "dream team" didn't live up to expectations, as a Giants hater, he filled in for Michael Vick week 11 and got us the W, i'll never forget that game!
He got the madden curse
KTO at 300k subs now! keep it up dude. U are the man for bringing up things I witnessed in my life, but totally forget about, or put on the back burner.
Come on KTO... Were is the browns hard knoks reveiws.
Where*
Time and time again, some of these guys I don’t really know who they are, but kto finds a way to hook me in emotionally. Good video and keep up the good work
It’s all Jeff Fishers fault. I mean the dude made Todd Gurley bad.
I still remember that rose bowl.. such great memories. Thank you Vince
You should do a video:
"What if Vince Young was drafted by the Texans"
yesssssssssssssssssssss
Great great video. Thanks for producing this, Vince is perhaps the most mismanaged NFL Quarter Back in recent memory.
Jeff fishing casually ruining another career.
Nice to see a Vince young video he was my favorite QB coming out back then.
Damn kto might destroy the football RUclipsr competition if he keeps uploading this often
I was always amazed at mcnairs relationship with vince. He even picked him up in a private plane once when he couldn't make it to camp or a game one. Thats awesome.
You should do a video on the life of Tedy Bruschi! Please
That last clip, against Houston too... great video as always KTO
Perhaps Antonio Brown needs this advice from VY, “Keep my mouth closed and just play football”!
I finally found KTO's outro. It's called "The Fix" on epidemic sound.
In Vince’s words: “Honor Landry”
That seems like something insignificant and that I may be nitpicking, but think about how someone could possibly misread/mispronounce the name Harold.
No, Jeff Fisher ruined his career. Look at what happened to Fisher's Rams after
he left. Jeff Fisher is at fault.
I stopped reading once you mentioned the wonderlic test.
@@dontdoittoyoself6786 lol
Vince Young was also the one to coin the "Dream Team" comment for the Eagles in 2011.
Thanks dude, that meme is still alive.
Jeff Fisher almost ruined Goff
Goff is ruining himself right now. How you make 100 plus mill and have the most interceptions in the league just before baker mayfield got the honors
Dey he’s really dumb after he got his contract he’s been slacking
This was probably your best video to date, extremely well made with awesome content
Bud Adams personally picked VY in the draft. Fisher wanted Jay Cutler. VY could/would not study film and relied solely on his talents.
False that he could not study film. Pure fake news.
Vy tried to corral it but desuan ignored him
Then after pats given few more calls and few more no calls on Vince they got ahead and then it was just Vince playing on a team that gave up except him.
Watch the game and its clear including announcers saying he is dictating the coverage because if they blitz play man he can burn them w legs or bombs
And if play zone he sits back and pick apart.
I still remember watching the Texas vs. USC game live. Great memories 😭😭😭
What happened to Vince young.......... jeff Fisher role credits
That basedrop at the end of a KTO video is the greatest signiture move on RUclips.
Another VIDEO!!!!
ikr, I am so happy!!!!! I also subbed btw

Looks like the exact same thing is happening to jameis Winston right now
I’ll watch notre dame on occasion but never been big into college but the 2006 rose bowl was a different story. I still don’t know why I was so excited to watch that game. Everyone was excited for that game.
Jeff Fisher is what ruined Vince Young.
“Plus, I’m looking out for you.” What a nice guy
Rose Bowl vs USC was the greatest college game I ever saw. Whoever got the FB last wins.
Best college football player I have ever seen. I'll never forget what he did against my Wolverines. 😢
This is like JxmyHighroller's channel but with football
and with out a trap sax
You didn't mention that in 2005 the Titans hired Norm Chow (a buddy of Jeff Fisher at USC) as offensive coordinator. Chow tried to turn Vince Young into a pocket passer instead of playing to his strengths and utilizing his tremendous talent. The Titans dropped the ball with Vince and they spent most of the next decade rebuilding.
Loved watching him beat USC, one of the best.

Such a shame. I blame Fisher for wrecking his career. Fisher almost did the same to Jared goff
Vince Young ruined himself. Jeff Fisher was just incapable of stopping it. That’s Fisher’s MO: he isn’t awful as a coach; purely mediocre.
