Beautiful truck! You can’t get a more dependable truck! The engine is fine starting in that temperature.. I worked as a diesel mechanic for Ohio Machinery for 42 years.. it’s worth every penny!!
i dont know if you will be happy with your self 4-5 years douwn the road if you sell it you will be looking to buy it back. Also do you ever see your self haveing one of the kids run the truck. And this truck would be a prefect fit you ever get a small grain trailer or to pull a equipment lowboy if you keep it you could still have the other two trucks running hay. A spare truck is always nice to have to get you out of a pinch when needed.
It sounds like a good deal to me it's a beautiful truck America makes my favourite vehicle's you gotta love harleys and your trucks if I lived in America I would love to own a lovely American truck like yours I am American at heart always have been always will be take care All regards Alan and Ella.
Always liked that truck, esp the paint job. Good luck on the sale, a huge demand still for those R models! Hate to see it go, but understand your point! Thank you for bringing us along.
Man if I was just a hair further ahead with my business plan, I'd love to buy it! I've always enjoyed seeing it in your videos. Good luck with your sell... If it were here in TN that wouldn't last a week. Everybody around here loves a Mack!
I hope it sells quick. If you took it to the NJ, PA, NY area, it would. I'd like to have it just turn up the pump and do a weekly circle around the headquarters for Greenpeace, The Sierra Club, and The DNC. To see them pissed off would be money well spent.
Sad to see that R-model go. I'd have a hard time getting rid of it, as it will still be running when all the newer trucks are in the junkyard. Someone will get a great deal, though...your asking price is more than reasonable considering all the work that's been done to it.
Have one of your other family members learn to drive it and use it to haul hay - you will also have a backup in case one of your other trucks goes down - the extra money you get from it would be nice to have - $15,000 would pay for some bills but you need a backup semi - use it to haul equipment
Very good pre-emisions truck, relatively inexpensive to fix! If you're looking for reliability and maybe not comfort, is the thing to have! You'll not find anything else for that kinda money, wish I had cash in hand!
15k is a nice start to make you a shop like " The Millennial Farmers" or build you a storage shead for just the Antique cars, trucks and Equipment. This way you can stop playing equipment jenga to get to some of your equipment when you need it.
Steve (isxcummins) has been hauling old trucks somewhere in Alaska. I’ve heard they pay a premium up there. Maybe he knows someone willing to pay top dollar.
i dont think Wes is asking top dollar considering how new everything is and low hours. 15grans well spent. because of the year Im sure the insurance is cheaper as well.
Been a while back but you did a video on that same truck pointing out that Mack has phased out parts support on the engine. You were upset about that because without parts support any piece of equipment is one major breakdown from being a boat anchor (me paraphrasing on that part).
I f you are interested in buying Wes R model mac truck I have been watching his videos for over ten years now Wes fixes his equipment and does not drive it in to the ground like some farmers I have known If I needed a truck I would snap it up before some one else does or Wes changes his mind good truck Mr. Wes is a man of his word and not a bull shitter like some people in his world I trust him but who am I nobody but Wes is a good man and true to his word and what he says .
If you are the average guys it in papers or magazines It would be gone A-day or 2 All people that use them for Pulling I would like it I live too far away How a Michigan man
$15k aint terrible, someone could buy it and get a 30 or 40ft step deck trailer and do some local work or hotshot work and pay for itself within a few months.
Don’t make them like that anymore. It’s probably the best truck Mack ever built. I learned to drive and took my cdl license test in a R model 5 speed 20 plus years ago. 15k is a great price for that truck.
What do you think of Indian farmers fighting in my mind for a fair price for there produces to keep the government naming the price as it is doing now . To socialist ? 🙂
If Tim is for some reason uncomfortable with driving a big rig hauling 40+ tons of hay on a highway, I don't think it would be fair to force him to do so. That's a lot different than driving a tractor pulling a hay wagon on a country road.
Fair price! I grew up around R models, they are very reliable and can still make money today!
I remember all the work you put into this truck. Hate to see her go.
found this channel because of that truck.
How about $12,500 Lol. I just couldn't resist!!!😂😂😂

As Dale Brisby would say "she's for sale not on sale" LOL!
I remember watching the videos when you redid the R Model. That is a nice old truck.
If I had it and wasn't saving for a house, I would in a heart beat, be on my way. Hope she goes to a good home.

She is a gorgeous truck. Love how they sound.
Sad moment, I remember the videos of the restoration. It's going to be weird not seeing it on your farm anymore.
If I could I would buy it.
I looked at dash pattern for my first 8 years of trucking , it brought me back to a time of hangovers, cigarette's,and poverty ! Thanks prick ! lol
I can't afford it but I love it and it's a great truck. I also love the way you stated the price. Good job 👍
One way to rid the barn of the birds and Mice.
you need night vision goggles to see you.

I've tried to give things away and they still wanted to buy it for less.
Hey , I have that problem too. I can't say no to a sad story 😕

That’s not the case anymore for some reason there all still available. I guess to many of them are still on the road.
@@onelonleyfarmer GOOD NEWS!!!!! Those old trucks were built to last. No reason to kill them when plenty of life is left. Best of luck on the sale.
