Gracye is absolutely perfect! Beauty, brains, talent, ambition, such an awesome young lady. The world needs more Gracyes and less Kardashians.... Keep up the good work Gracye!
You did great ! As a trucker of 25 years , I'd rather see "nervous" caution than overconfidence , if you are a little apprehensive it means you likely understand the responsibility of driving a big rig ! Practice makes perfect
Man I miss running those old R models , that distinct sound they have and you can see it puking out all that black smoke in the shadow on the trailer, brings back memories of when I started!! Cool video!!
Way to go Grayce! You are the type of woman that can do anything to which you set your mind! Been missing you and so glad to see your spirit. Keep up the good work!
Life's about taking chances and growing. You've shown great courage already. Keep at it, and always remember, Your journey's a source of pride. Keep it up!
This is an awesome father - daughter moment! I wish I could have seen your dad's expression at the end, but being a proud father of a daughter myself, I'm sure he was very proud. Only a farm girl could make this look easy. Way to go! I was wondering what the heck happened to you and glad you are still enjoying the farm.
You did an awesome job, Grayce. I never heard the gears grind once! At 5:00, you made a perfect right hand turn. Those trailer tandems tracked that white line beautifully! You'll be floating the gears before you know it.
Just like everything in life we all experience a first time for everything. Seat time will take care of the death grip on the shift lever as you gain more confidence. Love the sound of that old Mack even the closing the door brought back good memories for me.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! BITD I drove a very similar rig. R-Model, 300 Maxidyne, 9 speed. Watching and listening was like going back in a Time Machine. Plus, your joy is infectious!
What a lovely surprise to wake up to this Bank Holiday Monday here in the UK. Good to see you banging out content again. Hope everything is good with you all.
Good on you young lady, confident enough to let people know you don't need their advice, which is evident by your driving, but humble enough to acknowledge your position,🙂👍
Absolutely Love your video; brings back some great memories; I cut my teeth driving a Mack R600 when I was 16 y.o. and didn't even have a license to drive a car yet; Dad had a customer who needed product asap and Dad couldn't take the load. So, he put me in the driver's seat and said "you've ridden with me enough to know how to drive this Mack, son; be careful and I'll see you when you get back." That was a trip from Dallas to Temple, Texas and back. Can you imagine if DOT check points were open?!! Heck, me and Dad both would have been arrested, Lol - I was as nervous as you - but I sure loved driving that Mack, and the ones we bought after that. Some mighty fine memories for sure.
Grayce Great Job driving the R Model Mack floating threw the gears. I used to ride in my friend Terry's 1985 Western Star 4900 Dump Truck with a Big Cam Cummins 425 Horse Power 15 Speed Eaton Fuller Trans Rear locking Axle & it was Blue. I also rode in his 2002 Western Star 4900x w/sleeper Heavy Hauler it had a Cat 6NZ 550 Horse Power 18 Speed Trans Both trucks had Jakes! We where Hauling Gravel in Both trucks, the 2002 Western Star we where hauling a rented Belly dump trailer. Keep up the Amazing!!! Work Grayce! Later
This is my First Time Watching This.... You Did Great !! Looked like an Old Pro !! My Dad had several R-600 Macks and I Loved them... I was Driving them since I was 17 Years Old !! The Sound of the Engine and Drivetrain "Rattle" Brings back many Memories of My Young Life.... I'm 68 Now !! I Enjoyed it and Thank You for Sharing ! Frank C.
Grace, you do just fine driving the Mack, have seen guys who can't do half as good as you did in the video. I get you have lot's of things going on and can't post to RUclips consistently. Your RUclips family loves you and understands you have other priorities going on. Your parents raised an amazing young lady and should be very proud of how she has turned out.
You did a great job. Practice will only make you a better driver (which you already know) and having driven a Mack powered truck, they are very different than one powered by say a Detroit or Cummins. Your excitement at the successful trip is wonderful.
Hell yeah! You did great, awesome to see people our age (im 28) keeping these old trucks alive and doing them justice. That old girl will treat you just right.
I sat here quietly like a good 62 year old man who has been driving trucks for 38 years. Great video. Stay safe and be well. We're going to have rain tonight. Not as hot in PA as you
You made me excited to see you drive the Fuller gearbox of this glorious Mack, I assure you that you have my admiration for driving that way and being so fresh, natural and pretty
You are doing a damn fine job of driving the truck. Awww, miss spending my days waiting to unload at a grain mill. Or waiting to load at a grain elevator. I love those old, big, beautiful Macks
Good for you, I left trucking nearly40 years ago. But I still have fond memories of dragging 25 tons of coal out of the strip cut with an Autocar Tri-axle,, lots of R-model Macks right there with em.
Good to see you back on here. At 5:33 I often forget the dang turn signal too and I've been driving for years! Happens to the best of us. Thanks for sharing your experience with us all. You're doing good Grayce keep it up!
You did great! & looked good doing it too. Your miles ahead of those poor truck driving school graduates in that they learn on less solid plastic trucks with no feedback and automatic transmissions. You, on the other hand understand the dynamics of a tractor trailer. Great looking R models 👌
I think your amazing driver… There is always room for experience if your new to it or 20 years expert. I love your mindset, work ethic and let me tell you about that smile…❤ I love your videos. Always a pleasure!! Awesome job
Drive an R model without power steering dragging over 80 thousand and take it in the paper mills backing twisting and turning. You are doing great just be careful and ALWAYS think 500 miles and a day ahead. Mack is a tough ole truck.
Looks to me like you did a damn good job driving that truck!! I like the looks of a Mack truck. Used to see Mack trucks all the time when I was a kid. Enjoyed your video......very well made!!
WOW--wish I could have found a farmer girl like you back when I was looking about 30 year ago.... you're GORGEOUS-- have morals, values- hard worker- and just GREAT.... Super job on the video.. I LOVE that smile with those gorgeous blue eyes of yours... WOW..
That was great, so excited for you. I know you’re a busy girl but it would be nice to see more Contant from you. Hope you and your father have a blessed harvest.
Well, it might be a year old, but it's good to see ya on the tube. I only do RUclips, not into the other venues. Glad to see your still around, and well I hope.
I had and old I think it was an 86 Mack Valueliner woods logging truck with camelback suspension with a log loader on a log rail trailer like 25 or 30 years ago I think it was. All I can think of is the Springteen song, Glory Days lol. You rule girl!!!! Love the videos! Keep up the good work!
Gracye is absolutely perfect! Beauty, brains, talent, ambition, such an awesome young lady. The world needs more Gracyes and less Kardashians.... Keep up the good work Gracye!
That should be on a bumper sticker!!
Amen !
Loved "the world needs more Gracyes and less Kardashians"
Ill agree with that!!!
Farmer Grayce and Laura Farms. These young amazing women are so similar.
You did great ! As a trucker of 25 years , I'd rather see "nervous" caution than overconfidence , if you are a little apprehensive it means you likely understand the responsibility of driving a big rig ! Practice makes perfect
I need a farmer girl. Then I wouldn't need to worry about whether they like the country or not. Lol
Awesome job
나이따
One stack Mack with a window in the back....I drove an 85 Mack when it was brand new. Good job young lady!
A One Stack Mack With A Window In The Back , It Burns A Lot Of Oil And The Frame Is Cracked .....

Hello from France: Great upshifts with double pedaling, and descent with double declutching; It reminds me of driving my Berlier G L R a long time ago
