Holy crap thank you for sharing the texturing process. It's such a simple thing but it saves hours of bs busywork. These little tips are total game changers. I love you please keep doing these videos and I hope you get rich off them.
This is a beautiful job!! This is really just about as good as it gets. I've been a professional artist / illustrator/ model maker / sculptor / diorama maker (among other things ie; whatever pays the bills) for a long time and watching this technique, and seeing these results is very exciting and refreshing! I've been away from the bench for a while doing other things and this video is really inspiring me to get back into creating things! Super job!!
So...I was going to ask you a question. But by watching this video you answered it. I've been thinking of doing a couple sculpting videos myself. I was thinking of just doing a timelapse. But when I do detail work I need the figure right up in my face and that's no good to film. But it seems you take snippets of your progress, which, I imagine, is better for you as you don't have to worry about the camera all the time, and better for your audience as they don't get bored.... I must say, you've really inspired my by your amazing work. Your videos and your pieces. I used to sculpt dinosaurs when I was in my teens. (and kindergarden....) But, mostly because of you and Mike, I've gotten back into it. And I think I'm addicted.
yet another awesome dinosaur sculpt. thank you kayakasaurus And maybe could you also show us in detail on how you do the neck and head details? And maybe the underbelly too? perhaps you could release some extra footage as something you can watch if you want to., so then it wouldn't be too long for most people in a hurry.
@@meettheinmans7175 Sadly no, not yet. My sculpting has been on pause for a few months now unfortunately. I've been rebuilding engines lol but I SURE do miss it! I need to come back! Thanks for asking btw :)
You need to make a website and start selling the models you make. I got inspired by you to start making my own dinosaur diorama of an allosaurus standing by the bank of a lake but I couldn't (and still can't) find one that I completely like that looks scientifically correct and is good priced for me. If you sold this as a blank model so the buyer could paint it themselves, or sell already painted models, I would totally buy it! I'm the long run, keep making these awesome sculptures and videos.
:O incredible sculpting!! I love how you made the tiny scale stamp! Where do you get the tiny ball tools? I've been looking for them for ages and can't find them XD
How do you use your poly clay? I always have to bake my sculptures in a few steps. My problem is when I make some details with one hand and the other hand (holding sculpture) leaves fingerprints and destroys other details. I use cernit which is harder but when I touch it I always destroy my work
+SolidViperSnake Of course! I'd recommend getting aluminum armature wire like in my Spinosaurus sculpting video. I made the claws from super sculpey clay by rolling a small amount in between two fingers and baking separately.
I use oven bake and sometimes epoxy clay like magic sculpt. The problem with air dry clays is that most of them shrink which means if it’s on an armature it will crack
Wow what a cliffhanger...
oooo boi can't wait to paint one of these beauties!

Wow! That is very nice, I really love the texturing! I really want to "try" making a dinosaur... been thinking about it for some time now :)

Polymer Clay Artist :(
Absolutely amazing work, man!!!! How much is one of these painted by you?
Awesome as always! The Allosaurus is one of my favourite dinosaurs, just the head looks a bit too flat to me
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Like a building kit

You should sculpt for Papp or something. You’re REALLY good.
Woow
Waiting for diorama :D
Can u give a tutorial on how u made that skin imprint thing it seems really helpful in the process
🚀🚀🚀🚀
That’s so cool allo is my favourite dinosaur! Do you sell these?
Amazing. I want it. Better than Safari's.
:O incredible sculpting!! I love how you made the tiny scale stamp! Where do you get the tiny ball tools? I've been looking for them for ages and can't find them XD
+Evie honeydew Hey! I got them from Aliexpress which is like the Asian Amazon. Very inexpensive, sometimes sellers post them on eBay as well.
SOO Much better than Schleich's 2017 ver.😂😂

very good ive been working on this project for months
viewers if you completed this project like this coment
I was the 800 like :D
I simple guy I see dinosaur sculpt I click
You are a master sculptor. How did you get in the details?
Is there going to be a diorama with this?
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Did you put something before you cover it up with sculpey? I thought sculpey doesn't go hard if it's so thick
How the hell do keep the medium so smooth and free of fingerprints
PAPO dinosaurs Accurate allosaurus best one yet
Kayakasauras: Boii I just whooped you
Hola bro podes hacer uno de un trex te quedan re bn segui asi
Subbed. Are you selling these yet? Excellent work and nice tutorials. Thank you for sharing.
Mano voce e muito habilidoso se eu tentar fazer isso eu crio uma aberracao
Since the Spinosaurus is sold out can you make the allosaurus sellable
You should be your own model compiny
Why no feathers? Shouln'd Allosaurus have at least a few on its head? Still, great work!
How did you make the claws? Mind if I use your techniques in sculpting my own dinosaur the giganotosaurus?
+SolidViperSnake Of course! I'd recommend getting aluminum armature wire like in my Spinosaurus sculpting video. I made the claws from super sculpey clay by rolling a small amount in between two fingers and baking separately.
when you sell these can people request for you to paint them? if so I would love to get one with colors based on an orca!
Clay is Bae
do you only use oven bale clay or do you ever use air drying clay?
I use oven bake and sometimes epoxy clay like magic sculpt. The problem with air dry clays is that most of them shrink which means if it’s on an armature it will crack
@@Kayakasaurus aaah okay thank you, I've been wanting to try sculpting some of my characters for a whole and didn't know what to use
How did you do the tooth?
