They also had to be hollow to save materials and weight. Saving materials saves cost, and saving weight means it doesn't take as much force to drive them into the ground (as these are made specifically for foundations). They also carry more loads compared to solid ones, and the hollow cross-section means they can be inspected by looking through the void.

Некоторым изделиям и технологиям более 100 лет. 아파트만들때 벽체식 이아니라 기둥식으로 phc 파일 넣어서 만들면 층간소음 없을건대 이제품 사용하면 제품 가성비 좋아서 원가 절감 도 되고 좋을거 같은대 지금 사이즈보다 조금 줄여서 층간 높이로 잘라서 3미터 사이즈 팔면 그게 안되면 다이아 몬드 컷팅기계로 자르면 되니까 단독주택 지을때도 이 파일 사용하면 튼튼할거 같은대 직사각형으로 네 귀퉁이 모서리를 파일로 박아서 기둥으로 사용하고 그러면 겉에 색만 백색으로 입히면 더 이쁠거 같은대

@@jamesclark6487 Concrete generates a lot of heat while it cures (hardens). That is likely fast setting concrete, so a lot of heat generated.
They also had to be hollow to save materials and weight.
