About how many inches of oil pan ground clearance did you have at your ride height when you owned this K20 swapped civic? Did you have a skid plate/bar installed?
I actually ran 2 castrol 30 , but 1 supertech 30 , 10w30 and 1 napa synthetic 10w30 and the fans never kicked. I thought they weren't working until i kick on the a/c. But i could just turned the knob towards 3/4 cool if i didnt have freon But then i added 1/10 qt of 5w20 since it was getting 147 around town so i restored it to 220 at half tank fill in my daily lol
