- With the amount of well-built Civics that I see, I actually rarely see any of the sedan variants get the love that their coupe and hatchback siblings get. While at Super Lap Battle earlier this year, I saw this example in the pits and had to find the owner to talk me through his immaculate car.

I was stationed at Ft. Hood from '03-10... With the all the Hondas up there it was & still rare to see a clean 6th gen 4DR sedan! I've long since Retired and have two of them '89 & '97 LX sedan... Do you happen to have an IG account?

Literally a dream car of mine since high school. Such a timeless look. And this one especially... whew. Beautifully built.
Integras and CRX are just about picked over but there are lots and lots of these 6th Gen civic sedans still out there. B series motors are getting hard to find but lots of K remain.

Agree 100% when he said people only care about and you only see mostly hatches and coupes on these. The sedans to me look sooo good. Def want to try and get one for my first manual car. 🔥

I've been keeping my 96 sedan alive for the last 12 years. I still have the d16...I put in a manual transmission and its lowered on coilovers and a proper camber and toe kit.
Man, I wish I wasn't so paranoid about owning an EK and having it go missing. They're so damn cool.
theres plenty of ways to avoid that. i have an alarm system and tracker on mine... a glock helps too...
I own one, just take care of it, get a manual, and have a bunch of switches and fail safes for it
In addition to the topic on the 7:00 mark, Honda released an SiR variant on the facelift version which had the B16 engine, and it is their most sought after variant of the 1999-2000s model in the Philippines.
Not in the US, our 4door top trip was the EX with a d16y8. I wish we had those here 😂

I LOVE these types of Features Larry! Especially with how crazy the used car market pricing is going right now. We definitely need more features like this, so we can get inspired and motivated to go outside of the box of what defines a sports car! We need to find more cheap unsuspecting fun cars that everyone can afford. Not overpriced hyped cars that only a select few can enjoy!

Just wanted to add my two cents. In Japan there was a B16a powered 4 door which is the EK4 Civic Si sedan. The EK3 Vi-RS was a D16 car but had a lot of cool and unique parts including a unique wing. Love to see four doors getting love!
in the Philippines they have EK4 Sedan/ 99-00 civic SiR it' a SI just on a sedan body. Beutiful interior not like US. Also search PADEK 454 thats what they call the SiR.

kinda the only affordable civic atm , well wouldn’t say “affordable” but for what they are they are really overpriced atm , found a beat up hatchback rust n all and the mfs still want 3,500-4k 💀 a perfect condition honda civic lx sedan 2002-2009 still can be got for a clean 1-2k 😂🎉 not really a secret anymore lol sedans are the only solution for a reasonably priced k swap shell 💯🤷🏽♂️

Here in philippines we have that 4 door civic "SiR" with is spoiled with performance parts on suspensions, brake and b16 engine not so shure. But its pricetag gets higher every year. Civic coupes here are so rare also
In the Caribbean there is a lot of us ripping these cars

We have the performance version of civic sedan in PH. We called it the civic SiR year 1999-2000 it has B series engine (B16) vtec but not ment for tracks its a family car with a performance engine. Where you can enjoy your life sometimes even if youre a family man 🤣🤣
we have mb6s here in the uk, vti/vti s with a b18 in at around 170 bhp did them in "sedan" and Aerodeck, lad I worked with owned about 5, tried to set fire to a bush with one 😂
there's a performance version of 4 door civics. It's called an SiR with a b16 engine in it. SiR 4drs were only produced in my country. (Philippines)

Awesome build. Maybe over there you don't see them much, but here in NYC you see a lot more ppl messing with 4 door civics. I think mostly bc the hatches and coupes are harder to come by. But none of the ones I've seen are clean tbh or close to this one.
Probably saw my dirty ass sedan and thought that 😭 because most of the ones I see are pretty clean

The Ek3 Vi & Vi Rs actually are sporty 4 door Ek Civics
3stage vtec 130hp D15Engine (Cvt with eco & sport mode) actually moves pretty well.
then the Ek4 With the b16a :)
Which D had a sport mode?

In sport mode the RPM never drops & the 3rd stage of vtec stays engaged as long as you keep your foot on the throttle after 5200 RPM.

In Portugal both the EK and the EG came in a trim called the VTI and both came with the B16A2 from factory. Great cars but the EKs are not that common. We also have the civic aerodeck VTI which came stock with the B18C4. Normal price for this cars is around 5000 euros nowadays. It's just sad people focused on the hatch so much and now they're super expensive but it's great because the 4 doors and the wagon are kind of cheap

I love my 92 sedan, this is a beautiful build. Mine looks like garbage from out side but everything has been replace under her skin. Honda boi for life.
Pretty sure the k24, from Japan is around 180hp at most if stock.
170-180 to the wheels stock. He has no ac or ps, and has bolt ons and a tune. He should be making 220-230 whp. He should have about 10lb:1hp which is quite lovely entering an on ramp or making a pass.
