This video helped me pass my instrument checkride yesterday! I was about to bust an altitude when I told my DPE I thought I saw a tail wheel V tail at 3 o’clock. This gave me time to fix my altitude and he was so excited at the chance to see such a doubly awesome plane that he didn’t even think to ask why I was looking out the windows while under the hood!

I want to see a strutless, pt6, high wing, tail wheel v tail. Great clearance for back country flying! It would also be a great tow plane since the boom wouldn't have to clear the rudder. Need to see both versions. You could also add retractable inflatable floats. They could be filled with helium from pressurized bladders it the wings for shorter takeoffs and landings, making it amphibious!

I'm fairly certain you can't shoot with heat seeking missles backwards because the exhaust from your engine would confuse it? There are missles that can be fired at a target behind you, you need a helmet mounted cueing system that can fire at anything the pilot can see and lock up in his visor.

Hey I have an idea- car manufactures use trucks to carry multiple cars to a destination. Why can't we have a large aircraft that's hollow on the inside where smaller AC can fly around in them, protecting them from the hazards of wx and ATC? Or, stay with me, it could be like a giant bomb bay and when the carrier AC gets close to target, it drops the smaller AC, allowing them to start engines mid-air or just glide down.

Bryan, how about an airplane that flies on aerial rails, like a train but also like a plane ? No more lateral or vertical navigation worries, just turn the engine on to go and turn it off at your destination after a smooth, three-dimensional flight at any altitude A much safer way to do aerobatics as well, because the Skytrain's safety rails will do away with the impacting into the ground out of control problem.

    My suggestions:
For the budget airlines: Fixed gear 737's and A320's. Would reduce operational costs and allow them to charge even lower fares.
For GA: An STC that would allow installing a PT6 in a Skyhawk or Cherokee so everyone will stop laughing at us for being slow.
To address the pilot shortage: A civilian version of the V22 Osprey so those retired pilots can actually use their military hours towards something once they're out.
