Here’s another way we are evolving. I’ve been in the dental field for over 20 years. People are slowly evolving to have less wisdom teeth. Some patients only have two or three wisdom teeth, (instead of 4) sometimes one or none at all. Our jaws have gotten smaller so there is just no room for wisdom teeth. I’m not a scientist but it feels like our mouths are evolving so teeth fit our smaller jaws. Weird dental side note: The strangest thing was that we once extracted four wisdom teeth and joked with the patient that we planted four seeds so they would grow back. A few years later, four new wisdom teeth were growing. He blamed us and we couldn’t convince him otherwise. ;-)

There should be a project to gather genes from exceptional individuals and groups to try and make these beneficial mutations more prevalent and flawless, while making them widely available through therapy’s and pre birth modification. Imagine whole swaths of new populations that don’t have to deal with lactose intolerance, or increased natural disease resistances. Or how many lives in water rich areas that can be aided and saved with being able to hold your breath 24 times the normal capacity.

Cost is a big concern I.e the rich can have designer babies while the poor will still suffer from birth defects and health issues. Also experimentation. We have to practice to make a human with super genes and if it goes wrong the first few times what happens to those babies? I’m with you though it would be cool

I thought at best that only people living at high altitudes would adapt to absorb more oxygen from the air, but combine it with the spleen one and I bet you'd have superhuman-level oxygen intake. Which in turn would spurn greater muscle growth and strength. We could be talking about Usain Bolt-level sprint bursts... and perhaps even beyond that.

Tuatara, a reptile which is famous for aesthetically looking identical to what it did during the cretaceous [dinosaurs], has evolved as much as any animal, gene testing on members of the species from thousands of years ago show major differences. They may look the same but they are still very different and constantly changing, this is especially the case for animals with short gestation periods, and/or short life spans.

There is a difference between evolving and adapting, until our shapes change in a noticeable way...then we could say that we are evolving.
All of my family is concerned from cold weather ...where i have trained myself and adapted to cold weather....i took showers with a very low temperature around 6 to 2 degrees Celsius...and i didn't get sick after it.... I've done this couple of times.... I've stopped using hot water or warm....and i even go out to the street with a T shirt.
    It's called adapting...not evolving.
Keep in mind that on the other hand.... I can't bear the hot or warm weather....like 25 degrees Celsius for me is hot.
It must be bellow 19 degrees to be ok for me.

Discovaria the truth of the matter is, humans are never evolving. Just because a human can adapt to hold their breath for longer than others doesn’t mean he or she is turning into a fish. Humans always produce humans. Matter of fact; if one followed the sequence of life in all living things, one can trace everything back to two full grown adults. Babies always depend on their mothers and mothers depended on their mothers so follow this cycle as far back as time can allow and you would never find an end-theoretically. This only suggest that there had to be two full grown adults capable of reproduction. Also At what stage does a primate reproduce human baby offspring with cute features? And since when does “natural selection” make humans and baby’s beautiful in appearance? Exactly. It doesn’t. Beauty isn’t a random chance which wouldn’t even be needed for anything. The law of attraction doesn’t exist in a mindless random mistake called chance. With that being said, no creationist will ever be triggered by false teaching of evolution. There is no benefit in accepting those teachings and all it really does is take God (the only clear explanation) out of the picture. So have a seat evolutionist.

This isn’t evidence that we’re *still* evolving; it’s evidence that we *had* evolved. The natural selection pressures that favored certain adaptations like lactose tolerance or holding one’s breath likely developed because they made it easier for those people to find food. Now that food is so abundant and easily accessible, those pressures don’t exist; it doesn’t matter if you can digest lactose or hunt underwater. This is pretty disappointing coming from a channel that bills itself as an authority on science.

You don’t get healthier and live a longer life if you drink milk tho.
    *It’s actually the opposite.*
Dairy is gives humans diseases like osteoporosis worldwide, and contains cholesterol and saturated fat which clogs your arteries giving you heart diseases and other deadly diseases when you’re older.
The countries that drink the most milk from cows in the world (Sweden, Norway, Uk, the US, Denmark and Finland etc) are the countries that have the highest rate of osteoporosis and lowest bone density.
This is because cows’ milk are for baby cows. Not humans. The milk is a growth fluid, just like human milk is. A cow’s milk is meant to turn a 85 pound calf into a 1600 pound cow within *one year.* That’s why our bodies can’t handle it.

Is this evolution or the Human Body conditions itself to the environment after prolonged adaptations to its surrounding ?
1*So if you were a Islander your whole body system is naturally condition to survive in such an environment
*If you lived in Ice Cold Country your body adapts to extreme cold for survival
3*The Human body is all of 96 natural elements and its all energy with little mass
    "Atomic body ":
4*These atoms must be activated, electrons hitting neutrons and protons to create the energy the body needs for SURVIVAL
5*HUMANS are created smart Bio robots not at all evolved from Animals
The animals do not have the varied cells, neurons, and DNA including the bone structure of the Spine and Brain matter 3lbs
6*All Animals are still the same as billions of years ago but have lost their physical conditions due to pollution and environment changes
7*Archeiologist have dug up skulls and mummyfied bodies buried millions of years ago and they look no different to present day humans
8*We have to be happy we were created differently and not evolved from single cells or animals.
9* Today Scientist proudly boast of Artificial Intelligence created by them, almost identical to a human
10*If this is accepted and possible Aliens, Gods or the Creater could have created Humans as Bio Robots for their own needs or benefits
11*Maybe to develop the Universe ,maybe just populate and make the vast emptiness be more liveable.
13*We have to seriously rephrase -" Humans evolved"- to "Humans were created" with basic intelligence and body structure but over centuries they conditioned their body brain and mind to adapt for SURVIVAL

But now as medicine become more advanced, even the people with weak immune system will have a high chance of surviving and reproducing.
