I found Laura in the Kitchen while I was in the hospital fighting leukemia and preparing for a bone marrow transplant during the better part of 2019. Because of the chemo I had around an 18 month period with no ability to taste anything or when I did it was off or tasted metallic. Of course I have many many angels to thank for getting me through my ordeal- my wife and family for one, my awesome transplant team, and believe it or not awesome RUclips Chanel’s like this one. For a fair length of time it was my only window to the outside world ( with zero immune system I was social distancing long before covid 19 hit). To this day when I decide to make something for my family I always check to see if Laura has a video on it first.

I made this today and it’s wonderful! I added pecans to the top and loved it. The bread/cake part was unbelievably soft. And my kitchen smelled like heaven. Thanks so much Laura.

I have been watching Laura since years and she's still the same. While cooking she is calm and composed with instructions.. But as soon as she puts that morsel of food she prepared in the mouth at the end of the video.. She gets crazy because of how delicious the food is xd you go Laura

Been following Laura since I started baking and her recipes never fail. NEVER! I was a little skeptical tbh abt this recipe, but I’m glad I tried it. It’s divine!!! Made it twice already. It’s not too sweet which I loved the most abt it.

I made this bread/cake tonight and it was VERY delish! The cake part was moist and the apples were done perfectly. The sticky top was perfect. It was quite easy and was a big hit for dessert. Thanks, Laura. I'll be making this all during the winter!

You're my go to channel for recipes. I always know your recipes will be perfect. I made your chicken piccata yesterday for the 3rd time. It was perfect...better than a restaurant. I used an onion because I forgot to get a shallot and added sauted mushrooms because I love mushrooms. Soooooo good. Thank you!

Made this today. Delicious!!! Put all ingredients (except for the apples and cinnamon) in my stand mixer, mixed for 3 minutes, and layered the batter and apple mixture as in the recipe. Easy and perfect.

I just made this and it's awesome!! I use equal sugar packets but I think my next one will be with real sugar and yes my house smelled so good when it was baking' Thank you Laura it was very easy to make. 😊

I used whole wheat all-purpose flour so maybe that’s why mine wasn’t too yellow. I used a hand held mixer at first, but I decided to use my spoon to mix the rest! I loved how golden it got!! Whenever I bake, some parts always look underbaked, idk how to fix this! It tasted good so I’m not complaining 🥰😊😍
