I really love the QOL of the boxes stating the direction they're moving, and I also ADORE the detail that the monster box just looks in the direction it's moving.
So far, every ongoing interaction in the game can be fully described by a single frame. You don't have to know anything about the previous states of the game to know what everything on screen is going to do when you advance time. Which is a really great way for players to be able to stop at any moment and assess what their next move should be.
I had honestly just assumed those were added in post by the editors for viewers to follow, and then Tyler mentioned they’re in game and I’m like “wow, this dev really thought of everything”
Tyler having to spend 15 minutes on a puzzle makes him feel so much more human tbh. He's not a perfect puzzle solving robot, he's just a guy who likes puzzles. I like it when he actually leaves in how long it took him to figure out a puzzle for that exact reason. Plus he has good content in general.
I like that game too,I just hate looking for it due to Tyler's giant archive of playlists(not helped by my Samsung's sensitivity always sending me to the wrong page.
Weird how it introduces the multi-push block only for it to barely be used. Maybe it's not the most interesting mechanic, but it could easily changed into something more interesting like a ferret statue that acts like a pushable block that not only pushes the block in front of it but also attracts enemies.
I was wondering if you have your opinions about your patreon-only series anywhere on the channel? I would love to watch your Factorio and Terraria series, but only if you enjoyed them
Factorio was good, Terraria was not. Frostpunk DLC was really good, Oxygen Not Included was good, Infinifactory was okay, and Rusty Lake series is really good.
@@AliensrockGenuine question, is Terraria due to the fact that in-game information is barely zero and a playthrough is basically reliant of spending half the time staring at the wiki? As an avid RPG lover, half the fun is seeing synergies and the effects of items, wondering how they work together, but I have seen many despise that factor, and I can definitely understand.
@@swordzanderson5352as a mega casual I only play the game with my boyfriend who's done the whole deep dive speedrun. I spend the whole time mining and asking him if it's worth it to mine
@swordzanderson5352 It’s because I don’t like mining, I don’t like crafting, I don’t like combat, I don’t like 2D exploration (unless it’s as interesting as Animal Well), and I don’t like RPGs. For me, Terraria has about 2 minutes of fun for every 5 hours of gameplay.
I still feel the need to point out how much this game was influenced by DROD (Deadly Rooms of Death). Alex Diener, the creator has a lot of videos on the game. A large portion of the puzzles are about AI manipulation. Highly recommend checking the series out.
i dont think its a good game for him to play, esp not a yt letsplay. pretty sure he rarely cares about stories (esp ones where the main character is not the player), p sure he doesnt like visual novels either, which ruina absolutely is. the heavy emphasis on long sections of visual novels, and the pacing of the fights just make the game not very good letsplay material. he'd either have to cut out all the story, which really hurts the game, or he'd have to make very long and videos that would be probably not be great for the channel. maybe it would work for patreon series, medium wise, but i still think he wouldnt enjoy the game much
@@wehttam2935 only if he actually likes it. it would be awfull if he made a series/video on it when he doesnt like it as 1, it wouldnt be good content. 2, it wouldnt be fun to see someone not enjoy a game you love, and 3, he'd definitly get harrased by whiney PM fans offended that random youtuber does not like their game series. it happened to some random reviewer that didnt like the buggy switch port, it will happen to others too

This is what BIY is missing with the lack of facing directions of some characters

It took me 57 hours of reviewing the previous footage, but i can confidently say we do not play as a worm.
You thought the marten in the thumbnail was a giant worm?
Leafs odysee is like a can of worm holes. I always watch it right away, the episode feels way too short and I cannot wait for the next one.
