I think so - mine is dead quiet. I do remember reading about noise issues with the first run of the 35 watters, esp. with the fx loop. But the 50 watt works like a dream so far - no issues at all. *knocks on wood*
@@draelyc Its been several years. the 101b was simply amazing.. The clean channel wasnt nothing to write home about but the blue and red were gold... I now have a Friedman be50 deluxe and love it
I is a great sounding rig. It sounds like a 1X12 speaker. I am going to check if these have FX loops and extra channels. The 35 may be just fine as well, Thank you great video, God bless.
Thanks for listening & for your kind words! I don't know why the 2x12 cab sounds more like a 1x12 ~ maybe it just needs to be louder? :) But I can say that the amp is great so far, and the fx loop & three channels all work perfectly, including the built in boosts on the drive channels. I've tried the 35 watt version before, and it's also good, but I think I like the tone of the 50 better, fwiw.
Great demo and congrats! Do you find you like the 50 or wish you'd kept the 35? I had a 35 for a bit and it was sooooo close...but just a tad dark. Thanks for any info and experiences with both.
Imho, the 50 watt version has all the things I loved about the 35 watter that I tried, plus it fixes all the things that bugged me about the earlier version. It can be dialed in dark, but it can also be dialed in fairly bright … though it will always have that Bogner voicing. It’s not gonna get edgy like a Marshall unless you really crank the treble & use the bright switches & stuff. I did end up setting the red channel gain higher than I expected to, and way higher than I ever would have with the 35 watt, but when I did open the gain up to about 4 o’clock, that channel just came alive, yet there’s still room for the built in boost for solos. Plus it feels “organic” and all those other boutique types terms. I just love this thing!
Very Nice .
I had a 101b then bought a 3434 35 watt, nosiest amp I ever owned.. I hear they solved that in the 50 watt version

@@draelyc Mine was unusable.. Bogner authorized a replacement and it was just as noisy..
@@draelyc Like I said I hear the 50 watt version doesnt have the noise issures
@@paisteplayer1040 what were the tonal differences between the 3534 & the “real deal” 101b?

Congrats! Love this amp!
Your videos had a huge influence on my purchase, and I am *not* disappointed - thank you!
Playing begins around 6:50 or so, fwiw!
