Here's a "Karma is an ARMY" story: When Psy first announced his comeback, BTS antis started planning major support for Psy in hopes of dethroning BTS from some records. It was only about 5 days before release that Psy revealed Suga produced the title track. Antis were outraged lol. Then the next day Psy revealed That That was prod AND feat Suga. And the next day revealed he was prod, feat AND starring in the MV. And then came and interview where they talk about how they've become friends and have so much mutual respect. It's just fantastic!
Don't worry too much about rushing to react to the new releases, they come out at awkward times for us in the West😅! Finally I wanted to say I've been waiting for Psys comeback for ages and if it wasn't for him ba k in 2012 I would've not gotten into kpop. Secondly I love how he worked along with yoongi and got him not only produce but also to be in the MV but to also dance aswell. Psy revealed in an interview today that actually Suga contacted him with a song he already had and thought would suit Psy. He later asked Suga to appear in it. What an unexpected, but great collab. With the great producer - will be hitting Billboard real soon..
I was SOOOO excited for this collab! I love Psy and everything he usually puts out but oh my god, yoongi did soo good! He ate that choreo up and his little rap part was amazing and fit so well into the song! I also loved this collab because it was super fun and it brought out the playful side in yoongi 😄😄😄. also yes fun fact yoongi produced this and gave psy the song not knowing he was even gonna dance with him 😅

I ADORE this collab! Psy is actually legendary in Kpop. In Korea he's had a huge career, and now runs one of the most artist-friendly labels in SK. That he got Suga to participate this much (he notoriously hates choreo, even though he nails it like a pro.) is just freaking awesome and hilarious. I love it!

I just hoped they didn't over simplified the English translation of the lyrics on the MV, especially Yoongi's verse. We have armys that were willing to translate, and seeing their translations, I came to realize that the lyrics could have more nuance.

Hahaha when you've gone from not knowing anything to an entire family whipped for BTS they really hit you like a truck. He's got the call about writing and producing the song and Psy says he must meet with Suga in person before any deal is reached by the time this project was done, Suga help write & produced, was a feature in and danced in the dance video. Psy lured Suga. Then in Psy's interview, he has this evil/maniacal laugh. It's priceless. And now they talk as if they are the best of friends even with the age gap. Here's a "Karma is an ARMY" story: When Psy first announced his comeback, BTS antis started planning major support for Psy in hopes of dethroning BTS from some records. It was only about 5 days before release that Psy revealed Suga produced the title track. Antis were outraged lol. Then the next day Psy revealed That That was prod AND feat Suga. And the next day revealed he was prod, feat AND starring in the MV. And then came and interview where they talk about how they've become friends and have so much mutual respect. It's just fantastic!

Don't worry too much about rushing to react to the new releases, they come out at awkward times for us in the West😅! Finally I wanted to say I've been waiting for Psys comeback for ages and if it wasn't for him ba k in 2012 I would've not gotten into kpop.
Secondly I love how he worked along with yoongi and got him not only produce but also to be in the MV but to also dance aswell.
Yoongi id my all time fav rapper in the entire music industry and someone I can truly relate too.
Thirdly I am in love with the cowboy concept and vibe of the MV and I have always loved the wild west vibe.
The whole choreo is just like Psy (if you seen his earlier qork you will k ow what I mean) the beat is upbeat and just makes me want to get up and dance along and another thing "that that" chorus is just so catchy as it has been stuck In my head since I first heard it in the teasers.
