His Drive Impact hit colors are the same as ryu, lvl2 causes crumble for extended combo like ryu, has an ex move that causes wall bounce like ryu. The start of the lvl2 animation looks very similar to how ryu starts his lvl2 as well. Even one of his target combos are a punch punch round house kick like ryu. I like these similarities

The one criticism I could have it's just that Marisa's SA3 already does that. But while Marisa seems to emphasize her immense physical strength, Akuma's SA3 is more of a "completely outmatched" kind of vibe. That being said, I think I wouldn't be as positive about it if it was replacing Raging Demon. Then I would be livid. lol

The constant change in Akuma probably is the result of him sinking further into the Shun Goku Satsu? Dealing with rage as a weapon has to come with a physically manifested price 📩
I think the problem with his level 3 (not the raging demon) is just that it's in too much of a hurry to get through... and fair enough, over-long supers get tedious when you see them for the fiftieth time, but it could have used more time to sell the impacts of him throwing you to the ground.
The real 1000 deaths are the numbers of Akuma one will have to beat in ranked every single session. His regular level 3 is honestly optimal because it is simple. One punch to finish the opponent. Compare it to Luke who uses a barrage and only his final punch when he is in CA feels close enough in terms of presentation. Quite literally: Look at what he needs to mimic a fraction of Akuma's power. He looks sick, though, and I am going to try him out. Especially as it will be the day of the balance patch and Luke could get nerfed to lukewarm tier. For the Metsu Shoryuken: Satsui no hado technique. Shin Shoryuken is the shoryuken free of any evil/destructive thought. Cheers to another 1000 years of shoto domination.
