Honestly if A.K.I was theoretically proven to be top one, she's the kind of fighter that should be a top one. A technical fighter rather than just the one that does big numbers for relatively easy planning and execution.
I'm a low level Aki main and this video taught me a lot. The buffs she got are all insane; stLK being MVP for combos, LK Snake Step being the auto-shimmy tool, and fireball being EX Snake Step cancelable all blew my mind. I was hoping the chick would get some small frame data buffs, not something insane like comboing out of regular hit overhead. Lily's patch notes really disappointed me, so now I'm a full-time Aki main, especially after seeing all she can do
This was my first ever broski video and he made me wanna play aki. I picked her up and now I can successfully say I've made it to diamond for the first time on any character (I placed high diamond after winning 7 losing 3 placements)
One thing I think they left out in the patch notes was that cr medium kick has a tiny bit more pushback. In S1, I used to be able to tick throw off if drive rush cr mk. Now I have to micro walk forward to get the throw.
I think that might have to do with how much more plus it is now, rather than pushback. It should be +5, so the micro walk probably kills enough frames to not make it whiff. I haven't noticed a pushback change tbh

Something I notice in many matches is that people don't backthrow others on the corner... Any reason for that? I even saw tokido doing forward throw as akuma instead of cornering the oponnent many times, am I missing something? I am sure I am
@@having765 ye but I mean imagine you are like near the corner but not cornered isn't it better to backthrow? like if your backthrow wouldn't throw them on the corner but close to it or is it not worth it in this game?
It's still worth going for backthrow, especially when you have a good drive rush to get oki back. I think it's mainly an input error, since sometimes you are trying to go forward a bit to make sure you don't whiff the throw and you don't have enough time to press back and throw in the heat of the moment.
Wait can someone please explain the reasoning behind doing down heavy punch after the opponent gets hit by the Venomous Fang instead of setting up the poison puddle again?
Wild guess here, but I suspect meaty jump-in timing with Snake step + c.Fierce... Cammy was also at super low health so no more extensions were needed?
It's just for a safe jump setup, so he doesn't have to worry about wake-up options. And at that amount of health, she doesn't need poison to kill. Any touch would have led to a combo
Its realy hard to gain MR in sf6 and its as easy to lose it all, to put it simply if you wanth to gain MR you have to 2-0 your oponent. He could have lost a set or just didnt 2-0 an oponent with MR lower then his which is a realy big MR lose on his rank.
