This video plus song is probably my favourite piece of art, in general. It speaks to the dark part of my soul directly, and with such intensity.
Could you imagine *any* other band putting something like this together ? And playing all the roles themselves ? I don't think so. The artistic integrity they have is insane. They couldn't give less of a fuck what anyone thinks about their art, in the best way possible.
Fuck yeah! Rammstein is a well oiled machine...live or the videos they are just on a whole different level...

Hello. The song is definitely one of my favorite Rammstein songs. It's pure energy. And they managed to weave the Rammstein humor that I love so much into such a scary topic. The video fits the topic perfectly. It shows the madness of some of our fellow human beings. In the video, as in all other videos (except 'Mutter'-mother), all six band members. By the way, the band has the same line-up. For 30 years. All band members decide democratically on the videos as well as what a song should sound like. Only when all band members agree will the art be published. That sounds great, but according to several band members, it's also very nerve-wracking.
If you're looking for another earworm, I recommend 'ich tu dir weh-I hurt you'. Definitely the live version live at MSG, which btw they sold out in 23 minutes.

@@BemusingBill I am a filmmaker with a degree and no, it is not usual, but at least at the English speaking area (where I am) you have to inform the police and other authorities, that you are shooting a scene there (just in case something happens). So, I would say, they have known it, except it is another law in Germany (which could be). I live currently in Ireland (as an Austrian) and here it is the law, that when you shoot outside specific scenes, you have to inform the Garda (Irish Police) and some other authorities. You need the license also for the insurance, otherwise it is gone.
One of their more brutal songs together with "Bück dich" or "Tier". There was a time when YT had the "Live aus Berlin -1998" uncensored, but not anymore.
Count on Rammstein to pick bizarre stuff in the news and turn it into a song! In one of their stadium tours they entered the stage collared, leashed and showing their teeth just like in this vid. Flake was their she-male mistress! Or Oliver, can't remember.❤😂

You need to read the background story of this song and then read the lyrics! This will give you a completely other view... I highly recommend the 2013 live version of the song! You'll love it!
