      Bullshit after you die your ghost don't necessary to leave the house+ to scare everyone who visited your house or keept everything if you want ;) It is not mandatory to leave you can stay in your house no matter if you are a ghost or not . Many times the ghost does not want to leave his house I can understand why . I wouldn't leave my house when I died if I had such a large collection like these.

    Whaching this just makes me sad, in fact, almost sick, like im feeling empty, just because one day we are here, doing so many things, like travel, watch some movies, driving our car, go out with our pets, diner with some friends on restaurants, well, the daily things we like to do, but for some reason, that day comes, the day we leave this world, this life, our loved ones... But even if we have the normal ending, witch was working our whole life until 65 years old, just to spend 10, or in the best option, 20 years, being more older, just waiting for our dead, and watching our health going down, until that day, our eyes just close forever, finnaly... Yeah, this is our life, working, workin, and working, just to stop at 65, and then we are only wayting for our last breath...

    The first sewing box was made by soldiers while at sea pre and post WW1 or while deployed. Just that alone is worth alot of money. With the various ship themed items, war statues, the artillery casings etc leads me to believe that the husband carved the sewing box for his wife. It would have been a literal romantic treasure to be given back then.
    Absolutely insane how many valuables there are! It's hard to believe that no family have come to pick it all up or put it into an estate sale. I hope nobody finds the place and steals any of it. I am happy that you were able to find pics of the gentleman who lived there. I would imagine after his wife passed away everything they owned became worthless in the end to him. I also got tragedy feels.. If only this house could talk.
    We all have one thing in common and that is death. So much beauty surrounded these people and look where it is. Not with them now.

    The family enjoyed traveling, its shows in their decor of their home. A mixture of Asian, Mideast and Africa. The black figurine statue, and the ones on the down stairs fireplace are Moorish. This forgotten beauty of a home, is specticular in their furnishings, art and wood paneling. Agfa 1937 8mm Filmkamera! This camera is OLD! The elephant furniture might be from Asia. The magnificent Asian statue, could be from Indonesia or Thailand, it's hard to say. Still WOW! What a fantastic find Explomo. Love it 100%😁👍🏻

      Considering the damp throughout the house I'd also suspect it was poorly built, causing condensation. And possibly a leaky roof. It's definitely in very bad shape for having been abandoned for only 9 years! On the other hand I've been to a 1929 mansion that had only been abandoned for 5 years and looked pretty bad, a combination of rising damp and leaky roofs all over the place.

    Great job! The commentary was the best! There is something about these abandoned homes that is just so sad. Once it was someone's pride and joy, now left to decay and rot. All those pictures and family heirlooms, no one wanted. The missing mattress tells me someone passed away at home most likely. Thanks for the great video!!

Felicitaciones chicos!!

    Another great video.
    A beautiful home at one time. Don't understand why family members would leave all the pictures. When my husband died I downsized, bought a smaller place, I put my family pictures in plastic tubs/ bins & put in a shed I bought,along with some other mementos I wanted to keep.
    I love the statutes & vases.
    Thanks for sharing your videos, I'm glad to see you wearing a mask. You boys do a great job filming & being respectful.

      Please keep a check on your photographs, if the shed get too cold or damp, condensation may spoil them. I nearly lost mine like that, so I got two shoeboxes and only kept my very favourite one in the top of my wardrobe. Mind you my shed is a bit ancient and needs replacing. Take care.

      You never know if there were any family members, and if there were, whether they got along. I could easily imagine scenarios where people would prefer to erase any memories of their parents or other relatives. Or it's all tied up in some legal battle that goes on and on.

      Sometimes families are like that. My friend bought a house where the owners were wealthy hoarders. They owned so many properties the kids just boarded up the house and abandoned it when their parents died. Leaving all kind of expensive things and lots of photographs of family and such. Some just don’t care.

    Someone else also mentioned the missing matress. As a retired medic i can tell you that if a dead body is left to long, weeks, it will have bloated and if warm enough most likely turned to a gooey mess. Can't separate the body from the mattress without dissembling the corpse.

    • @DulceN
      @DulceN 3 года назад

      No need to go to that extreme. Shortly after death the sphincters release and it is common for the urine and feces to flow out of the body, so that would explain having to remove the mattress. It happens to people and animals alike.

    “Wow look at the magnificent design of this lamp” camera pans to an average lamp seen in everyday homes across Europe in the 90’s! Also the telephone downstairs wasn’t a rotary phone because it had push buttons, this was just a replica which wasn’t an unusual item back then. Very strange how one minute they were sat at the table scrapbooking family photos & documenting their travels the next they’re gone? Often when people are asked what would they grab from their burning building the response is photographs. No one consciously planning to vacate leaves photographs behind. There has to have been a sense of urgency to the owner suddenly abandoning this property, literally everything is left just the way it once was when it was an occupied, functioning home. The mattress being the only item missing leads me to believe the owner was murdered?

    • @melanied8954
      @melanied8954 4 года назад +11

      Why murdered? It's more likely the owner just died in their bed of natural causes.

    • @axelb9203

      it's possible the guy was murdered and it's could explain why the house in untouched since then, because of the investigation (that can take years and years)
